(Wait Aiya is cApTureD?)
"Helloooo? I can hear you guys!" Aiya kept walking, her golden scales seeming to almost glow in the dim light.
Toad's eyes widened for a second before his grin returned. He got up, dusting himself off and looking back at the alley. He spotted Aiya almost immediately. "A dragon?" He said, smirking. "We aren't I just lucky. You'll get a nice price as well." He muttered a stun spell, hitting her with precision.
(Yes, yes she is)

Tony was panicking. He had heard the fight but was to weak to move, if he entered the sunlight… He felt so useless. He kept trying to move forward. The only thing that happened was resulted in him stumbling back towards the town, hoping he could track Cyrus' smell.
The male couldn't help but blink a bit at the woman's response. She didn't really know what was human and what was not? How very strange indeed. Her scent was unmistakable to him, a witch. The girl said she could only make guesses. Well, he had to assume that most creatures were still trying to remain hidden from the human eye, which was probably for the best. So more than likely creatures adapted to hide from even others like themselves. However, that was a feat in itself, to hide from another beast.
"So you only guess who is a creature, and who is not? You more than likely have regulars who come to you for magical supplies no?"
He was rather curious. Marinus still seemed a bit confused on how she was unable to tell creatures apart from humans. Even witches had a keen sense, way better than any human. Though Marinus had to also keep in mind that he had an edge thanks to his age and overall senses.
(They're so chill while the rest of the characters are doing some really weird shit)
(Lol)
“Yeah. Like there’s Genevieve who I’m fairly certain is some sort of warlock, this one kid who is either a vampire or some sort of magician, and a ghost who lives under my desk. This little old lady came in once and bought a cursed wedding ring. I told her it was and she smiled and said, ‘oh, I know. I hate my soon-to-be daughter-in-
Aw.”
Cyrus tried to move his body. Any part, really. But he felt paralyzed. A clicking noise of frustration sounded from deep in his throat as he struggled to move.
"Sounds like you have quite a bunch of interesting customers."
It was all intriguing to Marinus. Once again, this world was once again, in a sense, quite new to him. He may have knowledge that surpassed many, but most of that stemmed from ancient times and worlds. The present, right now, was a strange one for him.
He couldn't help but give a light chuckle, "Ah yes, leave it to one to wish spite and misfortune on a horrid in-law."
Granted, Marinus had only ever heard stories, and perhaps even somehow found himself caught up in another's family's matter. However, that was another story.
“I do,” she agreed. “Genevieve’s seven.” She laughed a little, remembering the first time a six year old girl with blue hair had walked into her shop and asked for a staff. “You should drop by sometime.”
Tony stumbles, making it to the town. Cyrus' scent was getting stronger. "Cyrus?!" He calls worriedly.
Cyrus could have sworn he heard Tony. He wanted to call out to him, but he couldn’t open his mouth, much less speak in the current state he was in. If he could have, he would have groaned in annoyance and frowned.
Marinus couldn't help but arch an eyebrow, "Only seven you say? Bit young, though sometimes potential starts in the smallest places or things."
The male shifted a bit in his seat. He allowed a small pause of silence, allowing him to finish his third cup of coffee. Marinus had his fill of the bitter, hot liquid. It was nice, a welcoming warm sensation to have on his return from waking.
"Hm, just might have to, see what you all have in your little shop," Marinus offered her a genuine smile.
His blue eyes were a soft glow, the pupils remaining round, "Forgive me miss, I never introduced myself. The name I go by is Marinus."
He would leave out what he was. She never asked, and Marinus was not quite ready to just willingly give out his true nature to a stranger.
“Nice to meet you, Marinus,” she said, holding out a hand. “I’m Ceri. Not what it says on my birth certificate, but that’s beside the point.”
He comes to the alley, his heart thudding. His pale blue eyes swirling with violets and filled with worry.
Toad stood up, unaware of Tony's presence. He sent a slimy smile to Cyrus and Aiya. "I have some… Buisness to attend to, and some bodies to hide. Have fun." He muttered a spell under his breath, his grin never leaving. He sent the two of them away to an abandoned warehouse with a sickening crack, an isane expression settled on his features.
Tony freezes as he stares at Toad. He breathing heavy. He tackles the other, hissing, his eyes turning bright red. "Where are they." He growls, his nails digging into the others neck.
He watched the woman, listening. She introduced herself as 'Ceri'. Marinus once again seemingly tilted his head to the side as she explained that it wasn't the name on her 'birth certificate'…whatever that was. His blue eyes shifted as he watched the female move her hand outwards towards him. Hey, he knew that gesture at least.
Marinus moved his own, gently taking her own in his grip, "Pleasure Miss Ceri."
His gaze glanced towards outside, "Well, I suppose I have staid long enough here. I had my 3 cups of coffee. Could go for more, but I should seek work somewhere. I don't think all places will accept my form of payment anymore."
“Probably not,” she agreed, mind drifting to the gold coins. “I could use a worker.l
Toad glared at Tony. “While I appreciate a paying customer, I don’t just give out the location of my products to any old vampire.” He said “vampire” like it was an insult, not a species. He smirked and muttered a spell, sending Tony flying into a wall and sticking him there.
Tony hisses, struggling against the spell, his eyes narrowed. "What did you do to Cyrus?!" he growls, his fangs becoming longer. He was worried about his friend, but he didn't dare let that show.
Marinus had pushed himself away from the table. His hand reached into a jacket pocket, pulling out the shades he had been wearing earlier. The male returned them to their place before his eyes. It helped keep them a bit more concealed, as when his pupils tended to narrow at times. Usually when Marinus was either agitated or on high alert his pupils would become slits. Though in a relaxed state they appeared round and normal.
His hands returned into the pockets of his jacket. The man was about to head out, when Ceri mentioned she could use a 'worker'. Well, it made him pause. Marinus glanced back towards her.
"Really now? How interesting. Well, I appreciate the offer Miss Ceri, and I would find the work most helpful."
“Here you go,” she said, digging through her bag and pulling out a black business card. It had her email, highlighting all the points of interest.
//I cant find a pic but basically it was like Ceri.sparks was underlined with the label “me” and magikal.com was underlined with “my shop” etc etc
