@rot-baby-rot!
Jamie cast the spell quickly, making sure it was one powerful enough to work on a wendigo.

Seems suspicious… Aiya crept up behind Jamie and tripped him, giving the wendigo and vampire a bit of extra time to get out of the way.
Jamie fell to the ground with a small "oof". He didn't bother to see who had tripped him, he only cast the spell again, this time hitting Cyrus.
Aiya darted forwards to try and get Cyrus out of the way, but couldn't get to him. However, the spell hit her instead, deactivating her concealment spell and revealing her bright golden scales.
"Oh great," Jamie muttered under his breath, "it's a dragon."
(Sorry for vanishing, was talking to a family member)
Cyrus’ Body flinched when he heard the movement. He jerked around, seeing the
pair, and he gave an animalistic like growl.
Marinus continued to watch in silence. Soon, another individual walked into the café. The male's eyes narrowed, forked tongue slipping past his lips. Seemed there was something up with the newcomer. His eyes shifted back to the wendigo and vampire pair. He watched as the two men appeared to be enjoying each others company.
Didn't seem too long, until both stood up, and left the place. However, right behind was that other. The newcomer who just walked in, had a quick cup, then swiftly left out the door again.
"How interesting…I'm curious if a fight will ensue between them…oh well, it is not my concern," Marinus muttered to no in particular.
Ceri strode into the cafe and tossing some money at the empty register. “The regular, thanks,” she called to the boy working. He nodded and waved to her as he typed something in.
Ceri looked around and sat down in front of Marinus. “Hope you don’t mind me sitting here, all the other seats are taken.”
//figured someone should go interact with the lonely child :P
Aiya fell to the ground, in the deep slumber meant for Cyrus. The place where she had been hit was visible, a slight scorch mark on her scales.

Jamie rolled his eyes, though no one could see him. He cast the spell a third time, making sure there were no distractions, and that he hit Cyrus.
((OOC: Marinus won't mind lol))
Once again he found his mind wandering. Marinus did indeed order another cup of coffee. The hot, black liquid was a nice change. He remembered having the drink before. Least that much hadn't changed. Even as another entered, he seemed to have not noticed.
Though a sudden noise brought his attention. Instinctively, Marinus' form tensed. His pupils narrowed into thin slits that were nearly lost in the blue of his eyes. Though as he found what had made the noise, it was a young woman who had approached. The male blinked a bit, but finally did respond.
"You are more than welcome to sit down madam."
Marinus watched as the woman settled down. Once again a forked tongue flicked past his lips quickly, testing the air. His pupils once again became rounder as he returned to a relaxed state.
Kanoa walked into her grandfather's tea shop, heading to the back and tying her hair up. She put on her apron and went to go see her grandfather.
"Hey." her grandfather was a demon, and he'd never met his daughter-in-law. He was her father's dad. Kanoa smiled and headed to the register, taking her shift and writing up people's orders.
She blinked at the slit eyes and did a double take at his tongue. “You… have a forked tongue.”
Cyrus jerked to the ground, hissing sharply. His nails dug into the stone, scratching the surface as he fought for consciousness. If he was going to pass out, the Wendigo could have full reign. And that could end very badly.
Marinus paused to take a sip from his coffee. He remained in his relaxed state, leaning back in his chair. His gaze watched the young woman. The male couldn't help but chuckle as she rather bluntly took note of his tongue.
"Not uncommon among folk with more draconic or serpentine natures."
A hand remained wrapped around his cup, "Quite a bit of different, intriguing scents to pick up on the air. Though some are giving me a bit of a headache…more so the ones I'm unfamiliar with."
Jamie refused to look at Cyrus as he writhed on the ground. He didn't want to do this, he never would. He just knew what Toad would do to him if he didn't. "Shhh," he whispered in Cyrus's ear. "Sleep now, alright? It'll feel better if you do. The Wendigo will sleep too, don't worry." He wondered if his disembodied voice was comforting or not, but at this point he didn't care.
She raised her eyebrows. “You’re not from around here, are you?” She asked, leaning forward to rest her elbows on the table. “This place is populated my bottle humans. Your ‘dracomic or serpentine natures’ will draw an awful lot of negative attention.”
Cyrus hissed low at the voice, a few clicks coming from the back of his throat as he slowly stilled, cheek pressed to the stone ledge as he drifted out of consciousness. His eyes felt heavy and they shut as his mind felt engulfed with a sleeping feeling.
The male listened to her as she spoke. He slowly blinked his eyes, his gaze shifting to the world outside of the window. He let her finish, then allowed his blue eyes to return to her.
Marinus replied in an even voice, "Let us just say it has been quite some time since I been here. This place was once a nice, basking area for me, but what with this city now, no longer."
He seemingly grinned at her, showing fangs, "Humans are rather blind when you think about it. Their ability to try and even understand something peculiar is laughable. Though I wouldn't worry too much, I've gotten quite good at keeping my actions discreet."
“Not discreet enough,” she said. “Anyone looking at you would’ve seen it instantly.”
//my messages are so sad compared to yours xD

Jamie scowled when the spell worked. He muttered a quick teleportation spell and brought them to the alleyway where he had met Toad earlier.
"Come on, Toad, you nasty thing," Jamie muttered under his breath as he waited. Finally, someone pushed Jamie up against a wall. Jamie felt Toad's breath before he smelled it. He removed the invisibility spell quickly and glared at Toad. "I brought him. Pay up."
Toad grinned and took a step back from him, releasing Jamie from his hold against the wall. He threw a wad of cash at him. "Keep the change, Luella."
"What are you even going to do with him?" Jamie asked, trying to keep from shuddering.
"Some people pay big to see Wendigos. Others pay big to experiment on 'em. Either way, you have your money Luella, now leave, before I sell you too."
Jamie glared at him but walked out of the alley, keeping the hood of his jacket up.
(How long does the spell last? Bc Aiya's currently asleep in the woods. Think people would pay big to see a dragon?)
Cyrus’ claws shrunk back to normal nails as he was still slumped over. He couldn’t force any part of his body to move, and he began to silently pray that the Wendigo could do something.
(How long does the spell last? Bc Aiya's currently asleep in the woods. Think people would pay big to see a dragon?)
(It probably only lasts a couple minutes, also Jamie probably wouldn't want to give another creature over to Toad)
((OOC: I try to get description about what my guy sees, feeling, etc.))
"Do you usually worry about strangers?"
His question came right out of right field. The male's eyes glared towards her. His pupils narrowed into thin slits. Marinus moved, both arms resting on the table, leaning ever so slightly forward. The air he held was almost dangerous, but was also ancient. Despite his appearance, the air he carried was clear. Marinus' had lost track of his exact age, because he was that old to where even he couldn't remember.
Marinus tilted his head, his gaze remaining cold, "Or is it your curiosity which has you so concerned?"
His blue eyes looked her over, as if peering into her very soul and mind. The male continued to watch her closely for several more moments, then finally returned to leaning slightly in his chair. His gaze shifted back to the window.
