Lysander smiled at the kiss. ”Just try not to die again? It’ll save both of us a lot of trouble.”

”Come on, Tyler. I don't think we're needed anymore.” Henry said placing his hand on her shoulder. ”I can take you home if you want.”

" I'll try" Betty said. " Probably more you than me" she teased

" I can walk " Tyler said pushing past Henry

”Definitely.” Lysander agreed, kissing her cheek.

”No need to be angry with me. I was just offering.” Henry said as he walked behind her.

She smiled up a t him.

" Tyler didn't say a word

Lysander stood up still holding Betty. ”Do you need to hunt after all that?”

Henry sighed at her silence.

Betty shook her head " no I'm fine" she said

”Alright. If you're sure.” he agreed.

" can you carry me " she asked

”Of course.” he smiled and swept her up into his arms. ”Where to, My Lady?”

She buried her head in the crook of his neck"I want to go home" she mumbled

”Our home?” he asked before nodding. ”Alright, love.”

She gently closed her eyes

He smiled and lightly kissed her forehead before carrying her home.

She had fallen asleep as he carried her feeling safe within his arms

Once they were back home, Lysander carried Betty up to their room and laid her down on the bed.

Betty curled up in a ball

Lysander sat on the bed next to her and placed a hand on her arm to offer her some comfort and let her know he was still here.

She fluttered her eyes open and looked up at him

He smiled gently at her. ”It’s alright. I’m here. You can keep resting.”

He nodded and laid down beside her, keeping an arm over her.
