”Henry. Just stop.” Lysander sighed.

Betty sighed after glaring at Henry

Henry gave Betty an apologetic look. He really didn't mean to be rude to her. He was just being hotheaded… again.

She looked at Lysander with sad eyes

Lysander held her gently. ”I'm sorry about him, love. You know what he’s like.” he murmured to her.

"are you okay" she asked referring to drinking from alec

Lysander nodded and looked at… Betty's ex, a little less concerned than she was but not unkind. ”I apologize. I don't believe I caught your name, sir.”

”I wanna know how he knew to show up.” Henry muttered, just loud enough to be barely audible.

" Alec Lockwood and Betty and I are connected I will always love her therefore I knew she was in trouble" she said

Lysander raised a brow at Alec’s introduction but … he could understand always loving Betty. ”I am Lysander Castevau, that is Henry and Charles: Betty's father and I am Betty’s Eternal.”

Henry smirked briefly at his brother before nodding at Alec.

Alec zoomed to Betty holding both her hands.

Lysander held back an instinctive growl at Alec’s quick approach. He wouldn't be rude to him because he had saved Betty but at the same time, he wouldn't let him take Betty away from him.

He took a risk Alec kissed Betty and he was too strong for her to push him off

”Hey!” Lysander finally snapped and had no trouble pushing Alec back from Betty. ”What century were you born in? I don't care when you dated, you don't just kiss someone else's fiancé.”

Betty stood staying behind Lysander gripping his upper arm

" She loves me" Alec hissed

”Maybe she did when you were dating.” Lysander stood protectively in front of Betty. ”But you were never meant to be with her the way I am.”

Henry watched carefully, waiting for Alec to make an attack.

Alec made a lunge for Lysander but Betty was faster both thier fangs flashed " you think you'd have more common sense it's five against one " she warned

" We can be together again Betty" he said trailing a hand from her shoulder to her hip bone

Lysander snatched Alec’s wrist and twisted it away from Betty. ”Don’t touch my wife.” he growled warningly.

Henry raised a brow at Betty including Tyler in her count against Alec, especially considering that Tyler had just killed her. But he stayed at Tyler's side for now. Even if she was a witch she was still mortal.

Betty growled as Alec slowly snuck his hand up her shirt

”I said don’t touch her!!” Lysander roared flinging Alec into a tree by his wrist, snapping it in the action.

Betty quickly turned around taking lysanders face in her hands " hey. . .it's okay" she said

Lysander took a few calming breaths and stared into her blue eyes. ”I didn't want him to disrespect you like that.” he said gently.

"it's okay " she said rubbing his back

" She'll be mine" Alec hissed

”Thank you, Betty.” Lysander gave her a small smile.

”Not in a million years, jerk.” Henry said delivering a swift uppercut to Alec’s jaw.

Lysander chuckled lightly, raising a brow, teasingly, at the new nickname before kissing her lips softly.
