" you already did it?'' she asked

”Yes.” Evan nodded, gently rubbing her arm.

She smiled softly

Evan smiled back.

Lysander grit his teeth and laid back down, digging his nails into his palms. The only thing really keeping him from hitting Evan right now was the fact that he could barely move because of his injuries.

She layed her head on Evans shoulder

Evan gently hugged her, running his fingers through her hair. ”Feeling better?”

She nodded " can you get me some tea" she asked

”Of course.” Evan nodded. ”It’ll just take a minute.” he said, starting to stand up.

She nodded closing her eyes

Evan smiled softly at her and glanced over at his younger brother, who met his gaze with a harsh glare before looking away. The Vampire King sighed slightly and shook his head before leaving.

Betty sighed closing her eyes

Lysander slowly unclenched his hands and rubbed his palms to alleviate the stinging, trying to relax from his jealous anger.

Betty tried to get up but fell onto the floor

”Betty?” Lysander asked in worry, sitting up as quickly as he could.

"ow!" She cried

He pulled himself over to the edge of the bed, fighting against the pain from his own injuries. ”Are you alright?” he asked, looking down at her.

Betty's knee was scraped up and bleeding

Lysander winced at the sight of the blood. ”What happened?” he asked, knowing that she had fallen off the bed. ”Do you need any help?”

Tears were streaming down her face as she cried

Lysander braced himself and rolled to the other side of the bed, opened the nightstand and grabbed the first aid kit that had been left behind. He quickly scooted back over to Betty and reached down to her. ”Here. Let me try to get you back on the bed and I’ll patch you up.” he offered.

She did her best to scoot away from him

”Betty, please. Let me help you.” he begged, his arms getting a little sore from reaching for her.

She shook her head

”Why not?” he asked, almost pouting as he let his arms drop. ”Betty, I still love you. And I'm thinking about, once I’m more healed, going back to being a vampire again. No offense meant but being human right now kinda sucks.” he added with a half-joking smile.

" I can't do this anymore" she cried
