He gave her a small smile and headed out to find Evan.

Dhe sat there waiting on Evan

Evan came in a few minutes later with her medicine ready. ”Hey, beautiful.” he smiled.

"Hi" she said tilting her head down to hide her blush a piece of hair falling in her face

Evan smiled softly as he walked over to her. ”You alright?”

She looked up at him , hair in her face and nodded

Evan gently brushed her hair out of her face and back behind her ear. ”Ly said you needed your medicine.”

"Yeah I do" she said closing her eyes

He nodded a little and gently took her hand. ”You ready?” he asked softly.

She nodded gently

”Hey, relax.” he encouraged softly. ”Try imaging you're somewhere else. Where’s someplace you’ve always wanted to go?”

" New York" she said softly

”Really?” he asked. ”Are you on Broadway?” he smiled.

She shook her head " just new York just looking and shopping" she said

He nodded. ”Tell me about it. What do you see? Hear?” he prompted.

" I see the bright lights of the city cars honking, all the city noises, the music, the food, the culture"

He smiled, nodding. ”Keep going. I haven't been to New York in a while.”

"I thought I had my whole life together I was going to go to college and then iwas going to join the FBI but I got sick really sick much like I am now and all the teasing came back you had just left my life and I was hopeless I had no one" she said tears rolling down her cheeks

Evan sighed, set down the empty needle and wrapped his arms around her. ”I’m so sorry about that, darling.”

" you left me" she cried " why wasn't i good enough?"

”You were good. I almost thought you were too good for me.” Evan admitted. ”I never forgot about you though. I even had plans to come back and see you… I just never could.”

"so you left me and i was sick am I more important than your kingdom or is it ?"

”I’m so sorry. I didn't know you were sick.” he told her. ”If I had I wouldn't have left when I did… and it wouldn't have been for so long.”

" Evan would you choose your kingdom over me?"

”No. No, being King is a job but I wouldn't put you second.” he said, still holding her.
