Evan chuckled at her teasing and placed a swift kiss on her cheek before letting her go.

She squeezed his hand

He gently sqeezed hers in reply.

”I love you too, Betty.” Evan smiled back.

"can I have a ride?" She asked

”To the party? Cause the car is right there.” Evan asked, raising a brow slightly.

"My feet hurt" she said

”Oh!” Evan chuckled and swept her off her feet and into his arms. ”How’s this?” he smirked.

She wrapped her arms around him "I love you"

”I love you too.” he told her, nuzzling her cheek.

She smiled closing her eyes

He smiled and carried her over to the car.

She almost fell asleep in his arms

Lysander watched as Evan carried Betty up to the car, biting his tongue before opening the door for them.

”Merci, mon frère.” Evan smiled a little nervously, helping Betty into the car. He could tell how Lysander felt.

Betty leaned against the door closing her eyes

Evan almost chuckled before helping her into her seat.

”After you, my lady.” Henry smirked, opening the door for Tyler.

Betty closed her eyes as Tyler got in

Evan smiled at her, giving her hand a quick, gentle squeeze before going to his own seat.

Lysander let out a small sigh and helped Betty put on her seatbelt as the others got into the car.

Betty leaned on whoever was there

Lysander froze for a moment before smiling softly at his wife, kissing her forehead.

Lysander smiled back before giving Henry a look and carefully moving to sit next to her.

Henry chuckled softly at the hint and got into the driver's seat. ”So, where exactly is this party at?”
