Laura-Beth gave a small yelp as the water touched her and scrambled to the back of the tub.

" sweetie it's alright" she said turning the heat down

”Too hot, mama.” Laura-Beth said, much more awake as she sat down for her bath.

"I turned it down sweetie" she said

”Ok.” she smiled a little.

"stay here I'm going to get you some clothes okay" she said and left the room accent only shutting the lights off

”Yes, mama.” Laura-Beth nodded, starting to splash around a little.

She came back with black pants a white shirt and a brown leather jacket and boots for Laura Beth

Laura-Beth squealed happily as she saw the more grown-up clothes.

"let's get you cleaned up okay"she said starting to scrub her hair getting it all soapy she turned away to grab the bar of soap off the sink not noticing that sopes getting ready to fall into her eyes

Laura-Beth giggled and splashed in the water. She blinked a couple of times before starting to cry a little as the soap bubbles stung her eyes.

She turned over and looked at laura-beth " sweetie what's wrong" she said

”My eyes hurt.” she whimpered, trying to rub the feeling away.

She took the the sprayer off the shower and sprayed it in her eyes with low pressure

Laura-Beth continued to cry as the soap was washed out. Even once it was gone, it took her another minute to stop.

She finished washing her hair and starting washing her body

Laura-Beth’s eyes were still a bit red but they didn't seem to hurt anymore. ”Mama? Why are we awake when it's still dark out?”

"we're going on a trip Aunt Tyler and Mommy planned it and we have a couple festivals we want to take you to" she said

”Where are we going?” she asked, a little excited about the trip.

" were going to different states and a bunch of festivals but don't tell Uncle Henry or daddy" she said

”Ok.” she giggled.

She smiled in finished bathing her"do you want to try getting dressed by yourself,?"

The little girl nodded eagerly as she started to stand up, still dripping wet.

She tried her off and handed her a towel
