She smiled gently
She smiled gently
Lysander smiled as they stepped outside, adjusting his grip slightly. ”Ready?” he asked, preparing to run fast.
" I'm taking the car we're getting groceries and I will not be able to carry them" she said
He sighed and nodded. ”Alright. Sorry, it's almost a habit for me to run or fly everywhere.” he explained, carrying her to the car.
( can we skip to the birth or sunthing)
(Sure. That's fine with me )
It was mine months later and Betty was in a hospital bed about to give birth and Henry and Tyler and lysander weren't there just Charles she had forgotten to text them and say her water broke
Charles was sitting beside Betty, holding her hand. ”How do you feel?”
" can you call Henry?' she begged
”Of course.” Charles agreed. ”Though I’m surprised you didn't ask for Lysander.” he commented.
' they're all together" she said
Charles nodded and reached out to both his boys and telling them to hurry to the hospital.
Betty layed there tired as hell whwn she heard the door open
Lysander all but ran in and knelt by her side. ”Are you alright?” he asked, taking her hand gently placing his other against her stomach.
Henry waved from outside the room before the door closed.
" I'm in alot of pain " she said
”What kind of pain?” Lysander asked, more than a little worried.
" it's just contractions" she said
Lysander nodded and let out a small sigh of relief.
”The doctors have told me that everything is going normally.” Charles assured them.
" I thought you weren't going to come" she admitted
Lysander looked at her in surprise. ”Of course, I would come.” he told her kissing her forehead. ”Honestly, I shouldn't have left your side today.”
”Don’t be ridiculous, son.” Charles said. ”No one can predict the exact date for these things.”
Betty cried out as another contraction came
Lysander tightened his grip on her hand slightly, to remind her that he was still here. ”It’s alright. Just breathe, remember.” he encouraged. ”Deep breathes.”
An hour passed and the doctor was at the end of her bed encouraging her to push as she was bawling her eyes out
"Come on Elizabeth I can see the head" she said
When the doctor had walked in and started helping, Charles had opted to leave the room and wait with Henry.
Lysander was still by his wife’s side, still holding her hand. He wasn't going to leave her.
Soon enough the baby was out covered in blood Betty's bloods when she collapsed back on the pillows
