“I… haven’t done this in forever.” Jasper said, a little out of breath, he somehow got himself next to Aster.

(MAJOR SHIPPING RIGHT NOW!)
Aster laughed, “Well, it gives us a view for that one English assignment,” Aster pointed out. He unzipped his backpack and took out his binder and a pencil.
“Yep.” Jasper nodded taking out his pencil pouch and binder.
On her way to her house Helen walked past the park and saw two boys on the monkey bars. It seemed weird and Helen couldn’t help but stare with a strange look on her face, What the heck is going on these days? She thought.
Aster opened his binder to his English homework. He scribbled down notes about his surroundings, some metaphors here, a few similes there, and some personification for good measures, “Why do they give us so much homework?” Aster muttered. He wasn’t even halfway done with his English and had about four more subjects to do homework for.
“Don’t forget to memorize the eight parts of speech and their definitions for the test.” Jasper sighed, writing down his sentences in neat cursive.
“Dang it, that’s right,” Aster groaned. He looked at the flowing letters of Jasper’s cursive and at his own scrawled mess, “How do you do that?” Aster asked and pointed at the gorgeous penmanship.
“How do I do what?” Jasper asked, looking at Aster with a slightly confused expression.
“That!” Aster pointed at Jasper’s penmanship again, “How do you write so nicely? Mine looks like ‘chicken scratch,’ as Mrs. Granger puts it.”
“Oh…” Jasper looked down, must be from calligraphy…, “… my mom makes me write neatly so here we are.”
Aster nodded, “That explains it,” Aster turned back to his half-finished English and shoved it into his binder, “I’m gonna finish that later,” he muttered to himself, knowing he was probably lying to himself, and pulled out his math homework to get a start on that.
(Omg sorry I’m hanging out with my friend so I’ll be busy for 4 hours. :()
“Procrastinator.” Jasper giggled.
(Don’t worry about it! Have fun!! :D)
“I know,” Aster smirked.
“Oh what math are you in?”
“Algebra 1, what about you?” Aster asked.
(Wait for this one is geometry above Algebra II?)
(Yeah)
“Geometry…” Jasper blinked, “… I thought geometry was the average math for our grade level…? How old are you?”
“Fifteen…” Aster answered, “Let’s just say I’m not exactly the brightest person on earth…” Aster said, his face growing warm.
“Oh, oh. Oh my gosh I’m so sorry.”
“It’s fine, you didn’t know,” Aster smiled at Jasper, face still hot, “Luckily, I’m getting better!”
“Oh, that’s good to hear…” Jasper said, smiling with relief, “But are you sure you’re okay? I’m really sorry.”
(‘Ship ship ship ship ship ship ship ship ship’ I whisper in the background)
“Yeah, it’s all good,” Aster waved it off, “As I said, I’m getting better! Also, I have a calculator everywhere I go!” Aster pulled out his phone and opened the calculator app. He punched in the numbers and wrote down the answers.
