Background- demon falls in love with human, demon is killed, human marries someone else, cinderella-esque type of story with ximena turning into a witch, killing her step mother and becoming the most feared and most powerful witch in a couple of millennium.

Magic Powers: Body modification. He can modify any part of his body (turn his arms into metal wings, turn his skin rock-hard, etc) to anything he's touched before. Which is slightly terrifying on its own, but once he touches you, he can become you.
Social Class: Grew up poor in the mountains of northern Vietnam, back before the country was even founded, on a farm with his family. They were Mường, an indigenous people in Vietnam, and this alone at once elevated and displaced the status of the family. After Thảo came by his powers, though, he got so used to luxury and at the same time so good at pretending and lying you'd never guess he went hungry a day of his life.
Background: Thảo grew up with four siblings. Out of the five of them, he, the youngest (at least, the others were bigger, so he assumes he was younger at the time; now, they've all been buried for millennia) was the luckiest to catch the last dying breaths of a god. It was an accident, but he'd never tell anyone that. Before that, he farmed rice and collected the salt of the sea to sell as crystals. Everything else about his life is unknown.
