“I believe I’ve already introduced myself to you,” Kylie stated blankly. “But I’ll reintroduce myself. I am Kylie.”

(Why does everyone know her name already?!? ;P Jk. But, really, no one actually knows anyone else's name…)
Well, you kind of introduced yourself to Kylie earlier xD
(Lol… Well, I don't remember seeing that anyone else introduced themselves. And Kylie shouldn't know Blaine's real name, should she?) (Honestly… I don't even know anymore…)
"Yes, ma'am, Miss Kylie. A woman with strength and command, that's what I respect. So what is our first step?"

Haha you did xD and Kylie also introduced herself
(Bruh you realize J is a mind reader)
(Lol, yes, but Blaine doesn't really think in the third person…)
(Ok… Whateves… :P Let's get back to the RP, shall we?)
(J can access not-well-guarded memories. So she accessed her most recent memory of being called by name)
(sounds good)
“We need to decode the Codex first,” replied Kylie, nodding at J’s comment. “I assume our answer lies in here somewhere. But while we decipher the ancient language, we need to find the connection between these five to figure out who is the sixth victim. All five were murdered on the same day, May 6th, so we have about ten days to find the sixth.”
"Great. So now we have Blaine and Kylie," Blaine stated. She turned to the other woman and glared at her. "And you are?"
(Sorry, I didn't see the last post… Whoops…)
J's head cocked to the side. "How do we know there are six victims? How do we know they will stop there? I think maybe we need to think of this on a more grand scheme."
(Sorry, I didn't see the last post… Whoops…)
Its okay!
Kylie sighed. Clearly this one was inexperienced.
“Tell me, mind reader,” Kylie started, looking a bit amused. “What comes after five?” She turned her attention to Blaine. “Ms Woods, did I say the killer would stop at six? If it isn’t much trouble, could you explain the plan to the mind reader in a she could understand?”
(Kylie seems rude in the beginning, but she’s that way around strangers. Once she gets comfortable with new people, she’ll start to show her warmer side.)
Blaine groaned. "Sure thing," she said sarcastically. "Why would the murderer stop at just five? Especially since every murder has been on May 6th. Most likely, he or she has a plan, and we need to figure out that plan."
(Darn, I just realized I made a mistake! I didn’t mean to add the month! Just the date. Damn it.)

(Hey, it's fine. We can just say that it's April, then.)
Okay, that works!
“I believe the date has a special meaning to whatever s/he is hoping to achieve,” Kylie continued. “April 6th is ten days away, and within these ten days we need to identify the five victims and find a connection we can use to locate the sixth before the villain kills him/her.”

(You mean May 6th, right? Ten days from then would be April 26th, which is why I said April.)
(IOH I FOUND MY MISTAKE.)
(So basically, the killings took place in January, February, March, April and May. The next killing would take place on June 6th. So the current month is May. There have been total five murders.)
(Got it! That makes a lot more sense, now, thank you!)
J ground her teeth together but kept her calm. She gathered her wits and used her mind to scratch a message in an ancient language into the table.
