Axtin looked around the street. He could hear the music blaring from a house nearby. So this was the place, huh? He smirked, thinking of the fun the party could bring. New people, maybe a few drinks, and maybe some dancing. He walked up towards the house and gave a knock on the door.
A man opened the door and nodded him in, the music was loud and rockn'! About a dozen other people were drunk and swinging from the railing of the stairwell.
In the corner where RIver and her friends who were laughing' up a good time, smoking pot and drinking beer…River, however, wasn't included in any of those things, but she had enough sass to cover for it.
Axtin went inside and grabbed himself a beer from a cooler set up in the kitchen. The party was a bit loud for his taste, but hey, why complain? He might as well enjoy it for what it was. It was then when the song changed to one he knew. As he sat down in a chair, he tapped his foot to the beat. He figured after his drink, he would go socialize with the dancing crowd.
River's friends started to migrate she followed, she accidentally tripped over some guy's foot, her friends continued to make their way over to the dance floor, some friends, but then again they're probably all too drunk to notice… she thought
Axtin looked down, noticing a girl who had fallen over his feet.
"Falling for me already? Why I barely know you," he teased, just barely being able to be heard over the loud music. She wasn't half bad looking either.
River frowned, her eyes met his and her frown turned to a blushed look, "don't be so cocky…" she finally responded
Axtin simply gave a shrug, smirking before taking another sip of his beer. Setting the bottle down, he stood, offering a hand to the girl. It was the least he could do. He may be part demon, but that didn't mean he was heartless.
