Lilith swirled her drink around before downing it and ordering another.

Dev wandered into the bar with a shaky breath. She found a booth by a window and sunk into it, shrugging off her jacket to reveal her loose gray tank underneath. It was warm inside, so she didn't need the extra layer of clothing. From across the bar, she watched the bartender mix drinks, and studied him carefully for signs of questionable activity. She'd heard horror stories of girls being drugged and kidnapped, and she did her research on "date rape" drugs, so she knew what to look for and what to expect. She then began to people watch.

Seeing the cute girl from earlier, Lilith got up and slid into the seat opposite her. “Well, hello,” she said, smirking. “Fancy seeing you here.”

Dev raised her eyebrows at the girl. It took a minute to register who it was, as it was very dark when Dev saw the girl earlier. Bathed in shadow, Dev only caught minor details, which is what helped her identify the young woman across from her. "Oh," she said as her face turned pink, "hey."

Kaz smiled, leaning his head on one hand. “Well, when you say it like that it definitely sounds cooler.”

Vaughn arched a brow in question. “How exactly is that cooler?”

(ayy) "Well, uh. I've always just thought of it as a bunch of flashy lights and loud noises. When you look at it as, y'know. Something cool like lightning, I guess it just makes it sound a little better," Kaz said, the alcohol in his system making it a little difficult for him to properly word his sentences

Vaughn nodded in understanding. “Is it just light or can you actually do things like electrocute people?” He asked.

(lol) Kaz chuckled. "Nah, I can actually electrocute people. A lot of people in the apartment won't shake my hand because I tried the joy buzzer thing with everyone one weekend and zapped half the building."

Vaughn slowly shook his head. “Remind me to never shake your hand again,” he said, finishing the rest of his drink.

Kaz smiled. "Aw, you're too cute to zap," he said, taking another drink of his beer
