Hawkin nodded. "Yeah. I'm fine. I just didn't like the small coastal towns… The people were always too harsh, and very unrefined. Plus, if I guess where we are, it's really close to my home… People will probably recognize me, and then I'll have to explain why I'm back so soon, and then life gets annoying, and then I go crazy."
“Is it any consolidation if I promise to punch anyone in the face who does that to you?” Kylie asked, tilting her head.
Hawkin turned sharply. "Oh my gosh yes! Is it bad that I want to kiss you again?"
“Not really.” Kylie smiled gently.
Hawkin shrugged. "Why not. Rox will kill me after… What do I have to lose?" Hawkin leaned in and kissed Kylie right in front of everyone, making sure it was long enough to make Rox a slight bit angry…
Kylie grinned and pulled away, trying to surpress a giggle.
Hawkin laughed after he kissed Kylie. "Guess I gotta run before Rox strangles me with shadows!!!" He grabbed Kylie's hand and gently pulled her with him, as he picked up his pace.
Kylie laughed as the wind blew her hair out of her face, running along the beach with Hawkin.
Hawkin stopped. He smiled into the wind. He loved the smell of the ocean, and he loved how the sand felt under his feet. He turned toward Kylie. "Isn't the ocean beautiful today? It's just a good day today…"
“It’s a good day, perhaps.” Kylie inclined her head. “I really couldn’t say the same thing about the ocean.”
Hawkin nodded. "Yeah… I forgot about your fear of the depths of it……. I'm sorry…."
“It’s okay. It’s not like I’m in it.” Kylie took his hand.
Hawkin nodded. "Ok. As long as you're not freaking out on me…"
(I gtg for the night… My mom isn't going to let me stay up "late" urrrrrrggggg…..)
(Alright bye!)
“Not unless I’m in the water, I won’t.” Kylie giggled.
(I convinced her for 10 more minutes….)
Hawkin smirked. "I guess putting you in the water would be a really bad idea then?"
“It would be.” Kylie raised an eyebrow. “You’re not planning anything, are you?”
“That sounds… really… nice…” Rigel replied with a yawn, happily closing his eyes when Xander held him. He’s just so warm… Rigel listened to Xander breathing, it was like a steady drum beat. Sleep ate away at him, he couldn’t even open his eyes anymore he was so tired.
Xander climbed on a ledge out of the cave and was greeted with fresh air. He suddenly felt thirsty, not having drank water since the morning. "We really need to get to that hotel or motel." He muttered more to himself than to the others. He watched as Rigel fell into a deep slumber in his arms and he gave him another kiss on his forehead while walking out of the place.
“It would be.” Kylie raised an eyebrow. “You’re not planning anything, are you?”
Hawkin smiled. “Well, I was, and the I remembered your fear about the deep water, and I thought about you walking around in wet clothes, and then I thought you might get sick, so I thought against that. Now. To the nearest coastal town!”
“Yep. Thanks.” Kylie giggled and smiled.
(Heads up:
They don’t have money, so in order to pay for the room Kylie gets them all signed in and then starts flirting with the person so he’ll forget about them paying.)
(Ah gotcha)
Hawkin smiled. "Yeah. I think we are near Hilton Head. It always smells fishy here…"
"As do all South Carolinian coastal towns." Kylie inclined her head.
Hawkin nodded. "You're not wrong there. Georgetown is especially bad. The have a paper mill and fish…"
Hawkin stopped. He looked around. He sighed. "I know where we are… Follow me. If we go through this little grove of trees, there will be a road. It leads to a small town that's not even on a map, and unfortunately my home…"
"Okay." She took his hand. "Remember about the punching people thing."
