“Maybe that’s them?” Rigel chuckled a little, hereing the echoes, “What on earth are they doing?” Rigel smiled a little, looking into the shadowy dark parts of the cave. Everything is better when someone is holding you bridal style… Rigel blushed at his own thought, but leaned his head on Xander’s shoulder.
"No idea, but let's find out." Xander said, having no struggle in holding Rigel just yet. He walked toward the sound of there voices and saw rocks, blocking the path. "I think this is where they are." He heard the voices the loudest through here, now all the had to do was figure out how to remove the rocks.
Rigel frowned at the rocks, but glanced at the necklace he held in his hand, “I could move things when I had put it on…” He trailed off, chewing his lip. I don’t want to accidentally hurt Xander…
"Do you want to try to now? It would be a great opportunity to test out your powers and figure out how to use them. But if you're uncomfortable in trying to do so, then don't do it." He informed, looking at Rigel, making sure he wasn't pressuring him into making a decision.
Rigel took a deep breath then slowly -reluctantly- stood and clasped the necklace on. A strange power overtook him, and he stumbled back in surprise a bit. It felt so like breathing for the first time, just a little less overwhelming than the first time he put the necklace on.
Xander stood back and gave Rigel his space, not wanting to overwhelm him with the sudden powers that he would feel. He was still nearby, but just watching. "Just remember to breathe. Okay, Rigel?" He told him, hoping that he wouldn't get another panic attack.
He caught her and smiled. "Guess you fell for me didn't you?" Hawkin raised his eyebrow, and laughed.
Kylie rolled her eyes, grinning. "Whatever."
Hawkin smiled. "You know I wouldn't let you hit the floor. I'm too nice for that. Now, come on, up you get." Hawkin helped her up.
“Charming…” Kylie rolled her eyes again, this time grinning.
Hawkin smirked. "See? Even you say I'm charming. I'll consider that one of my many traits…"
"Get a room." Rox calls out as she fastens the clasp on her cloak.
Hawkin smiled, and just rolled his eyes. He turned and faced ROx. "So I guess you power is something do do with the sky. Care to explain?"
Kylie rolls her eyes as well as out of Hawkin’s arms, landing on two feet on the stone.
"Darkness and shadows, also a bit of light. My symbol is a moon so I suppose I can also control tides." She said, shrugging.
(On point 👌🏻)
“Cool. That would be useful to have.” Kylie nods.
Hawkin thought for a moment. "Controlling tides would be useful if you wanted to flood someone's home. And using shadows, that's cool!"
"Yup," Rox said, walking backward through a shadow and appearing in front of Hawkin. "I can also travel through them."
Hawkin stumbled back. He smirked, and said, "I can make more shadows… Exploding things, making it bend, and then it creates a shadow. Boom you have more "pets"." But, I haven't tried that, and I don't know if that actually works… Yet…"
"The shadows like to follow me around, they are pretty much alive." She says, motioning to the shadows who are curled around her neck in a cat form.
Hawkin backed up. "Now that's a little creepy, but ok. Apparently shadows love you… Just remind me not to make you mad, you probably would strangle me with a shadow…"
Rox shuddered. "Being strangled by shadows is not fun."
Hawkin nodded. "I would imagine. So I'd prefer that if you ever got mad at me, go send me into a corner, or put me in another part of the world. I don't won't a shadow to kill me. That's not on my bucket list…"
"Well, I've only known Kylie for a day. But, if anything were to happen to her I'd kill everyone in this room than kill myself." She smirked
Hawkin frowned. "I feel like that was directed to me…"
Hawkin stepped away from Kylie, and climbed back up his pedestal and into the ceiling. "I'd prefer not to die… I'll keep my distance…"
