(I knew someone was going to do that… XD)
(I knew someone was going to do that… XD)
Tis I who did it.//
(I know. It was perfectly timed, and out of the blue… XD)
Kylie rolled her eyes and relaxed against the wall with him, sighing.
Rox yawned, standing up. "I'm going to go find food, later nerds," she said as she stepped back into a shadow and vanished.
Aimlessly strolling along the tunnels, not afraid of getting lost, Desiree heard voices. Distinctly those of Kylie and Hawkin… giving a private smirk to herself she decided to stay back and intrude later.
Hawkin looked up at the ceiling. "So, what's your favorite color? I might as well get to know you if we are going to be stuck for a little while…"
“Pink. But red is a close second.” Kylie decided.
Hawkin smiled. "Pink. That's a nice color. My personal favorite is blue. Grey is a close second. I like them because it's the colors of the sea…"
"Well, it'd be easy for us to get over there but Hawkin is the one with explosions and he's not with us. Even so, he would need to calculate it so the whole thing won't collapse on them." Xander responded, thinking about ways to get them out. "What can the others do?" Xander completely forgot what other powers they had and hoped Rigel knew.
(I legit forgot every other power and I'm too lazy to click on the first page, look through the powers, then come back and edit my post, yet, I have enough energy to explain why I'm lazy.)
Rigel leaned closer to Rigel as he asked, “Some kind or air could levitate us…? Wait, Xander, what can you do?” He bit his lip, glancing at the chasm again. Why did those two have to go over a chasm…?
"Well, I can control clouds. I could make thunderstorms, tornadoes, hurricanes, that type of stuff. I could possibly make a cloud bridge." He said, remembering what happened earlier when he was ejected from the plane.
Hawkin smiled. "Pink. That's a nice color. My personal favorite is blue. Grey is a close second. I like them because it's the colors of the sea…"
Kylie shuddered. "The sea, huh? I do not like the sea. At all."
Hawkin frowned. "Why do you not like the sea? What makes you say that?"
"Thalassophobia." She shifted slightly, kind of a little bit uncomfortable, although Hawkin didn't notice.
Offended Duskie noises//
wut//
but da seas so pretttyy.//
i know it's pretty but i actually have thalassophobia sooooooooooooooooooooooooooono//
Hawkin looked at Kylie confused. "Why do you fear the emptiness? Why does it bother you? I love the repetitiveness of the waves, and I love that it's always changing… But, I can see where you don't want to be alone. Me, I want to be as far from my family as I can be…"
"It's not the emptiness. It's just that…it's hard to explain. Do you want an explanation?" She asked. Please say yes, I just want someone to listen, please…
"Well, I can control clouds. I could make thunderstorms, tornadoes, hurricanes, that type of stuff. I could possibly make a cloud bridge." He said, remembering what happened earlier when he was ejected from the plane.
“Try.” Rigel told with with an encouraging smile. The thought of crossing of a chasm on clouds seemed terrifying, but he still felt safe with Xander. And they needed to get across somehow.
"I'll try, I can't guarantee it though." Xander stepped close to the chasm but not to close. He summoned some clouds with his mind but they were scattered around and much like cirrus clouds. He wasn't getting the desired fluffy or cumulus clouds. "I don't know, maybe I'll try aga-" He wasn't even thinking but soon, a straight path off fluffy clouds were right across the chasm, with added cloud rope. "Never mind." He said, sticking his hand out for Rigel to take so that they could cross.

Hawkin sighed. "Can you explain it? I mean I did tell you my story, so could you tell me why you are scared of the ocean?"

(By chance could Rigel not be able to walk on the clouds so Xander has to carry him? Just a thought…)
Rigel hesitantly took a step towards the bridge, peeking down at the chasm cautiously. Every single instinct inside him told him to walk away.
"Yeah…okay. Well, I never had…a negative experience or anything. Well, I did, but it was small. Just…the vast lethalness of it all is what scares me. It's like a box, kind of - you're trapped and you're going down to the darkness, it's grabbing you, it's pulling you in, it's…terrifying. Fear of large bodies of water." Kylie shook her head. Thank you. For listening.
