Xander gave Rigel a quick kiss on the cheek before coming out of his book and looked back at him. He was feeling some type of pulling towards him but had no idea as to what it would be so he brushed it off as phantom feels. “We’ve got your necklace, so now let’s figure out what you can do other than cause implosions.”
Rigel nodded, and when he put the necklace around his neck the pull in the cave stopped. A strange sensation went through him, causing his to clutch his head in a panic. A nearby rock seemed to fold in on itself, but it reappeared a few feet in the other direction. Rigel jumped, tumbling into Xander as more rocks and stalagmites did the same. His breath became short as he stared in fear, which only seemed to make it worse.
Rox jumped as a rock next to her disappeared, the shadows around her rearing up. "What the fuck!"
"Rigel, quick close your eyes!" Xander said in panic as he watched the whole scene unfold. He placed his hands lightly over Rigel's eyes and steadied him. He was in shock about the whole debacle but you couldn't tell. He slowly removed the necklace from his neck, hoping that that was the reason for all of the problems going on.
The rocks stopped shifting as the necklace was taken off Rigel’s neck. His hands shook, his whole body tense from the situation. Rigel couldn’t find his breath, and he began to have an anxiety attack, “Smoke, I need a smoke, I need a smoke,” Rigel gasped for air that wouldn’t come. Too many emotions and too much power at one time.
Xander backed up a bit and put his arms on Rigel's shoulders, an arms-length apart from him. "Hey, hey, a smoke is going to make it worse on your lungs. Take deep breaths, we are in a cave, we were just at a waterfall, the rocks have more of a dark gray color than black, the floor is rough, there's not much sunlight in here." Xander kept listing facts about where they were to calm him down, loosen his stress. "Take deep breaths, okay? Inhale for 7 seconds, hold it for 4, exhale for 5. Repeat it and you'll feel better."
Rigel swallowed, trying to breath as Xander told him. Smoke. I need a smoke. Slowly, gosh darn slowly, his pulse went back to normal and he could breath properly. “That was- That was terrifying,” He breathed, swallowed as he stared at his necklace. So much power in that little thing… It was too much just after that kiss, I was too lost in my own emotions to focus.
(I made it, I don't leave until 12, so I'm good for the moment.)
Hawkin ran when Kylie dropped out of his arms. The tunnel folded, and the pressure kept dropping. Hawkin just yelled, "Someone needs to stop Rigel and Xander! What the heck are they doing up there?!?"
Suddenly, the implosions stopped almost immediately, the pressure returning back to normal and the rocks stopped where they'd turned, making for a strange-shaped tunnel, to say the least. Kylie stopped short and looked around, ready to sprint again if the need be. She turned back to Hawkin, waiting for him to catch up.
"I cannot imagine that type of thing happening to me but I can only comfort you." Xander looked around, surveying the damage. "We should head back to the group and figure out what to do with these powers."
“Alright, okay,” He whispered, his hand finding Xander’s for some sort of support. He grabbed his shirt, slipping it back on shyly, “I’m- I’m sorry I can’t control my powers,” Rigel said quietly, glancing at the necklace.
"You will learn how to, all of us will. Don't worry about it." He said before gently bringing Rigel's hand to his lips and giving each knuckle a soft kiss. Xander walked back with Rigel to the group and leaned back against the wall.
He smiled shyly at the kisses, blushing. Rigel tucked himself under Xander’s arm when they regrouped with everyone, biting his lip and sapping off of Xander’s warmth still. He held the necklace with a white knuckle grip in his free hand, trying to ignore it for now.
Hawkin caught up, and he stopped in front of Kylie. Hawkin turned and looked around. "That's one crazy shaped tunnel… What the heck were they doing? I don't understand. If Rigel can implode things, then I didn't do that to the plane… I didn't cause it…"
Rox is just sitting in the corner laughing. She is most likely delirious from sleep deprivation.
(I qualified for a second rifle match….. I'll stay on as much as I can, but I have to go at 2:30…..)
(I'm happy with it, but I probably get on until like 10 tonight. Unless I feel really tired, then I probably won't get on al all)

"I don't know…I don't understand either. I guess that means you were right…Rigel had to have done that to the plane…" Kylie turned the corner and, to her surprise, saw that the ceiling had folded in with the floor, barricading the tunnel. She took a few paces back, and whirled around. "…Hawkin?"
Hawkin furrowed his eyebrows. "Yeah. I got it. Stand behind me. I don't know haw far this goes, so I'll do a little explosion. If I need to do a bigger one, I'll just do that. I don't want to collapse the ceiling…" He ushered Kylie behind him, and created a small explosion, it rocked the cavern, and cleared the path without the ceiling falling down on them.

Hawkin grabbed Kylie's hand and he led her through the new opening that he had created.
