hunters are hired out to capture/kill certain mythical beings. And that the price gets higher for rarer creatures like sirens/angels/etc. and our character meet in mutual hiding

Atticus flew low through the forest, weaving between trees and branches as fast as his wings would let him. He could hear the hunters chasing after him on quads, dodging through the brush in an attempt to catch up to him. He heard several shots being fired in this direction, and he hoped to his former boss that none of them would land a mark.
Please I just need to make it to the cliff…

Avery was walking through the forest after losing his chasers, he heard gunshots do i have to run again? he sighed and started running, seeing a cliff if i can make it to there i can get down with sound waves he thought . He pushed himself to go faster, he sees a winged person running towards the cliff also. hm another supernatural he notes, first yelling "Cover your ears!" to him. He banshee screams, bursting 2 of the chasers eardrums.

Atticus ducked once he heard someone yell at him to cover his ears. He dove down past the cliff face, hands over his ears. He began to slow his descent about halfway down the cliff once he heard someone let out an ungodly screech. He hovered where he was, keeping his wings beating consistently.

Avery ran and launched over the cliff, using sound waves to slow his fall "Hello" he said to the winged man, floating down slowly "Im Avery"
