Victor smiled, "It's okay, Jared. I promise." He set a gentle kiss to Jared's knuckles.

He looked up at Victor, a little uncertain about all of this. "I'm sorry. I'm…I just…I guess I just need time. Sometimes. To…explain myself. And…and all of that."

Victor nods and offers a reassuring smile. "And that's fine. You have all the time in the world. I'm not going to push you or hurt you, okay?" He assured gently.

"Okay." He said softly, looking up at Victor. "Thank you."

Victor nods, "Of course." He murmured gently, a warm smile on his lips.

He smiled faintly in return.

He knew that the other would need time, and that was fine with him. They both needed time.

He bit his lip for a moment, looking up at Victor.

Victor offered an assuring smile when Jared looked up at him.

He smiled faintly in return.

He moved slightly so he could sit a bit closer to Jared, his hand gently running through the others hair. "We'll figure it out."

He leaned into the touch, closing his eyes. "Okay."

He smiled at that. "Nice and easy, test the waters and see where they take us." He murmured softly.

He nodded faintly, still leaning into Victor's hand.

Victor gently played with his hair, a small smile on his lips. It was kind of nice to have this quiet moment if he was being honest.

He sighed softly, content.

It had been a few days, and they were going on a date. They still hadn't told Jared's parents, or really anyone. Too much of a risk, that it wouldn't go well. They had also returned back to Jared's parent's house, since they had installed new security measures there. To tell the truth, Jared didn't feel comfortable in his room anymore, and often slipped next door to cuddle up with Victor, seeking comfort in the other man's arms.

(And I'm sort of back- lmao)

Victor had agreed that it was best that they didn't tell Jared's parents, after all it could be a security risk, and Victor wasn't willing to risk that. But tonight was supposed to be their night. They were finally going on a date. That was exciting, especially for Victor since he hadn't been on a date in god knows when.
He was semi sad that they returned to Jared's home, after all they had a bit more privacy when they were at Victor's home, but this was fine.
Whenever Jared would sneak into his room and curl up in his arms, something in Victor always made his stomach twist like there were a bunch of butterflies in there. He would always gently press a kiss to the top of Jared's head and doze off there in sweet comfort.
