(You’re good, plus it’s fun to experiment. And, in regard to Lucitius, one must take into account the fact that Lucitius doesn’t remember being sane. Inevitably, he’s going to feel like he’s gone insane, and will freak out, regardless of the end result)
Lucitius groaned drowsily, wiping a hand across his face as his thoughts seemed to rearrange themselves. He stared up at the sky in complete confusion, letting his mind wander for a moment, curious.
“Synthia, mine love? What did you do? I have never known such clarity in mine life,”Lucitius asked.
He laid there for a long time, marveling at how clear his mind was. Never, in either life, had he felt so much at peace. What gift was this?
Lucitius breathed in deeply, but paused in confusion. He couldn’t smell Synthia’s lovely scent, but he was surrounded by others. Where was he? Why was he?
As Lucitius glanced around, Goldergon stood up and approached Asuka. He crouched next to her, his face very close to hers, his eyes wide and his teeth bared in a vicious grin.
“It’s me again, Radiant,”he whispered.
Goldergon stood up, laughing hysterically, and wandered off, jumping around happily, wondering how Asuka would react. He then teleported, hand lunging at her throat.
Lucitius flicked a finger, a wave of forceful energy suddenly throwing Goldergon into, and through, a building across the street. Lucitius sat up, looking around in confusion, his eyes focusing on Asuka. His robe knitted itself back together, leaving no mark that it had been torn.
“Synthia?”
Lucitius stared, frozen in absolute confusion. Was this Synthia, his dearest wife, or someone else? How could he tell? Who was he now? What was he? What madness had possessed him for so long?
“Synthia, where are you?”he pleaded, looking around nervously.
Mardicos, bored and irritated, decided to answer the call of his beast, despite the pain it would cause him. He had no idea of the moon phase, but it wasn’t the first time he had morphed on a strange time.
He leaned against a tree, breathing deeply. Then, his body tore and snapped, growing thick fur and canine features. His screams became snarls, and the massive wolf soon bolted off toward the village, drawn by the smell of blood.
