"This isn't 'death magic'," Felix growled. "It's something only demons or angels know, not a mortal elf like you. The term is something like 'passing magic', where we deliver the dead to the afterlife. I am merely communicating with his soul." Felix sighed.

"Alright, everybody OUT OF THE WAY." Asuka says this in a very commanding tone, a tone she rarely, if ever, has had to use. "Alright, I need you to tell me what goddamn poison you used, Goldergon, because if you don't, you'll find that I'm not always so kind to murderers." she has walked right up to Goldergon now, holding a knife in her right hand and a faintly smoking vial in the other.

"Did you know that, when concentrated, the void is a powerful poison? If you are the unlucky victim of this particular… version… of it, you will first experience pain. Don't say anything. I know you don't understand what I mean, but I assure you, it is not pleasant. Next, even if you are very, very resistant to things messing with your mind, it will cause hallucinations, and eventually, once those end, you will be paralyzed for the next 3 hours. Unable to move, when those three hours end, you will simply melt into the void. Gone. Now, tell me what I want to know, and you won't die permanently. Again." she has been speaking in Goldergon's ear in a low, threatening tone, with the dagger right up against his throat, the vial in her other hand, poised above his head, ready to tip it over.

To Felix she says, without looking away from Goldergon, "I am not mortal. Do not speak of things you do not know. Now, let me heal Lucitius without being interupted."

(I know this conflicts partly with her profile, but she is very, very scary when she needs to be. She does not like it, however. She's just already had enough of Goldergon. And a little mystery has to be here in regards to what Asuka means by "I am not mortal. Do not speak of things you do not know." After all, I imagine Goldergon, Lucitius, Mardicos, Felix, Rue, Tsuki and Toky have some secrets of their own.)

Goldergon licked his lips, glancing at Lucitius, then at Asuka. A grin appeared.

“It will only affect one form. Besides, if I merge with the void, whether partly or completely, it will mean that you have made me far more powerful. We, Vanishers, have no souls, no true body, and are from a multiverse alien to everyone here. Try again, little she-elf, you won’t win so easily,”Goldergon cooed.

He dramatically snapped his fingers, a circle of black smoke appearing around the two.

“And I doubt your void would react well with my own,”Goldergon said with an evil grin.

Mardicos rolled his eyes, standing and heading out of the village. He had no patience for people.

Lucitius twitched, his claws digging deep into the ground. The claws of his other hand scraped together, blue fire igniting and slowly spreading across his body. He was unharmed by the flames, and even seemed to be relaxing as they engulfed his entire body. Where the fire touched the wall, it simply tilted away, not even charring the wood.

(Is Goldergon lying/bluffing, or is he not? That is the question. -Yes, I’m referencing Shakespeare with this question, I’m in a good mood)

"You know what? I am tired of this, Goldergon. Just tell me what the hell you used on Lucitius. Or else I might get… upset. Which is not something I or you want. If you've ever heard of light elves, you'll know that when we're angry, or just very emotional, things tend to get… explosive. So, do not take me for a weak, helpless girl." she snaps, now very done with Goldergon.

"Also, do not assume I am any mere light elf, Vanisher. You deal with something a lot more than a simple elf suffused with the energy of the sun, something much more powerful. Just look at my aura and you'll see…" she says this with a smirk, now done pretending she's just a timid, weak girl. "And for future reference, I would be very hesitant to assume that I can't kill all of you with this poison."

She looks over at Lucitius, and forgets about Goldergon entirely. "Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit…" she mutters. She rips off Lucitius's shirt, and gasps in shock: Nyx barely finished healing him. She moves her hands just above his chest, and starts murmuring a spell, shaping the words of it into a simple elvish lulaby. As she casts the spell, a calm silence descends, along with a warm, golden light. The wounds on Lucitius' chest start to close. And Asuka manages to delay the progress of the poison, only for long enough to force the information out of Goldergon.

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

Goldergon snickered as Asuka rushed off to help Lucitius.

“Hmm… ‘all of you’, so fitting, and yet not. I could care what you are. You are merely another potential victim on a long, long journey. And, are you so willing to kill yourself just to kill me? Believe me, I’m the least of your problems. I don’t hide my nature, Lucitius… is afraid of his. You should worry about him, not me,”Goldergon chuckled.

As Goldergon spoke, Lucitius started to stir. He moaned slightly, seeming to enjoy the sensations from Asuka’s healing spell. A quiet rumbling echoed from his throat, a noise that can only be describe as a deep purr.

“You always know how to wake me, mine love,”he mumbled.

He stretched a bit, seeming to bask in the blue fire and Asuka’s healing rays. His features became somewhat muddled for a moment, the fire burning away the still healing scales and revealing fresh scales underneath. The wound quickly heal, and his claws started bleeding a strange grey liquid.

Lucitius moaned again and finally opened his eyes. They glowed softly in the light of the dying flames. He didn’t seem to notice Asuka as he stared to the side. His purring continued.

Goldergon scowled breifly, but watched patiently, a grin widening his face. He quickly started laughing.

Meanwhile, Mardicos wandered out into the forest, roaming aimlessly as he usually did. He had long ago left civilized society, and his instincts had gone wild in his years of solitude. One wrong word could potentially set him off, and he wasn’t in the mood to deal with that pain.

(Yes, I know I probably just made it really awkward for Asuka. It’s only going to get worse, evil grin. Nothing weird will happen though, just a lot of confusion)

Deleted user

(Asuka can prbly handle it… prbly. Honestly, I would like to see where this goes. Grins)

Asuka smiles at Lucitius' words and purrs, while also staring at the dragon's claws and rapidly healing wounds. She suddenly blushes and looks away.

"Stop it, Asuka." she tells herself, as her magic continues healing Lucitius. And yet, she seems incapable of stopping the flow.

She feels something change in Lucitius' mind, like pieces clicking together to form a complete picture. Stunned, she finally is able to stop the magic, and ponders whether or not that was her or Radiant. And she tentatively probes Lucitius' mind and aura, finding the two entities at peace, truly, not in pain anymore.

And then, with that, Asuka falls unconscious, still marveling at what she had done and thinking of Lucitius' reaction to find his mind and his partners mind flawlessly joined and healed.

(I might just bring in another good character… maybe Wren or my combo OCs Mist/Invictus? Just to maybe add some more fun to this…)

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(I am so sorry for not seeing this earlier. I was… distracted by the chaos of others. But anyway)
(So, I need some clarification. Did Asuka just make Lucitius sane? And who is the ‘partner’, or is Asuka and Radiant somehow co-existent? The ‘partner’ thing is throwing me off and I get the feeling that I’m going to feel like a dingbat once it’s clarified [which is typical, lol])

Deleted user

(I… think so? Would that be an issue??? All Asuka meant to do was heal Lucitius' body, not his mind. I'm pretty sure Radiant kinda just did something, though, just as a kind of… gift? Idk…)
(And Asuka and Radiant might just co-exist in the same body… idk though. I also can't say much because, well, Goldergon. I can say that Asuka can draw on Radiant's powers.)

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Hmm… either way… it would definitely put a twist on Lucitius, because he hasn’t been sane for pretty much his entire life… though he might snap again, unsure, looking off into space in deep contemplation)
(Interesting. And yeah, Goldergon… No more need be said)
(Give me a sec and I’ll post a reply)

Deleted user

(Okee.)
(Also, I'm pretty sure Lucitius' mind is, like, completely healed. I'm not sure he'll have problems with emotional control and whatnot, like, ever again. Unless, of course, he gets broken again. But sorry… unless I shouldn't be.)

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(You’re good, plus it’s fun to experiment. And, in regard to Lucitius, one must take into account the fact that Lucitius doesn’t remember being sane. Inevitably, he’s going to feel like he’s gone insane, and will freak out, regardless of the end result)

Lucitius groaned drowsily, wiping a hand across his face as his thoughts seemed to rearrange themselves. He stared up at the sky in complete confusion, letting his mind wander for a moment, curious.

“Synthia, mine love? What did you do? I have never known such clarity in mine life,”Lucitius asked.

He laid there for a long time, marveling at how clear his mind was. Never, in either life, had he felt so much at peace. What gift was this?

Lucitius breathed in deeply, but paused in confusion. He couldn’t smell Synthia’s lovely scent, but he was surrounded by others. Where was he? Why was he?

As Lucitius glanced around, Goldergon stood up and approached Asuka. He crouched next to her, his face very close to hers, his eyes wide and his teeth bared in a vicious grin.

“It’s me again, Radiant,”he whispered.

Goldergon stood up, laughing hysterically, and wandered off, jumping around happily, wondering how Asuka would react. He then teleported, hand lunging at her throat.

Lucitius flicked a finger, a wave of forceful energy suddenly throwing Goldergon into, and through, a building across the street. Lucitius sat up, looking around in confusion, his eyes focusing on Asuka. His robe knitted itself back together, leaving no mark that it had been torn.

“Synthia?”

Lucitius stared, frozen in absolute confusion. Was this Synthia, his dearest wife, or someone else? How could he tell? Who was he now? What was he? What madness had possessed him for so long?

“Synthia, where are you?”he pleaded, looking around nervously.

Mardicos, bored and irritated, decided to answer the call of his beast, despite the pain it would cause him. He had no idea of the moon phase, but it wasn’t the first time he had morphed on a strange time.

He leaned against a tree, breathing deeply. Then, his body tore and snapped, growing thick fur and canine features. His screams became snarls, and the massive wolf soon bolted off toward the village, drawn by the smell of blood.

Deleted user

(Honestly, I should have thought of that…)

"Hmmmm…? Who's… Synthia?" Asuka mutters, completely oblivious that she had passed out and fell onto Lucitius' chest. She suddenly becomes wide awake, and starts sammering an excuse as to why she had fallen asleep on his chest.

"I-I um… I just healed you, and it took a lot out of me… I think… I think that I… or rather, Radiant… healed your mind… I honestly don't know." As she says this, she notices the cloud of dust from the building Goldergon had flown through and immediately realized what had happened. She immediately throws up a solid barrier of radiant light and energy, knowing it's too late to hide her powers.

"And as for who and where you are, you are Lucitius, the Great Protector, the Blue Angel. Who you've been. And you are in a dark dimension, where I've come to find the source of magical disturbances that ripple across worlds. And where you came by mistake. I do not know where Synthia is, but I'm sure she is perfectly fine." she says, as an explanation for Lucitius.

And she also senses a… beast? Human? She honestly can't tell which. But what she does know is that it is heading towards the village, fast.

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

Lucitius stared at her, seeming not to notice that Asuka had slipped into his lap as he had sat up. He just stared, completely bewildered.

“I know who I am… I hope… though I thank you for the explanation. Who is Radiant? And how can anyone heal mine mind? I cannot heal it, yet I am likely the most powerful being in mine multiverse! How?”he burst, still confused.

Lucitius leaned against the wall, staring ahead as he tried to figure out what to do. He was oblivious to his hand on Asuka’s belly, gently holding her down on his lap. He also didn’t notice that he still purred.

Goldergon stumbled out of an alley, coughing and patting his dusty limbs. His clothes were torn, and he had several healing scratches scattered on his body.

“Damn you! You know how long it takes to mend these clothes?”Goldergon shrieked.

Lucitius glanced at Goldergon and rose an eyebrow in disdain. He then looked off to the side as he heard fast approaching paws.

A massive black wolf with ice blue eyes, as long as Lucitius was tall, bolted past and leaped at Goldergon, tackling him in the blink of an eye and taking half of Goldergon’s neck in one bite.

Goldergon howled and vanished, reappearing as Ehvara on the roof of the building he had been thrown through. She rubbed her neck, watching the pacing wolf cautiously.

The wolf watched Ehvara for a moment, iridescent purple blood soaking his lips. He then started to circle, looking for potential victims. He seemed to ignore Lucitius and Asuka.

"Wow…" Asuka breathed, completely entranced by the pelt of this creature. She calls out to it, hoping it will answer, knowing that Mardicos probably won't come.

"Also, you underestimate mine own power, Lucitius." This was a different voice coming from Asuka: high, pure and clear, like a bell ringing on a warm, sunny day. "You forget that there are angels and arcangels in any world. I have chosen Asuka as mine host, for I cannot have form for very long otherwise. With a physical anchor to a world, I can accomplish so much more." And Asuka stands up, looking different: Golden eyes. Radiant's eyes. The eyes of an arcangel.

"Now, what shall you do with mine gift, Lucitius? Will you accomplish good, or will you become like Goldergon: a cruel, violent being of power?" She asks this knowing Lucitius' answer already.

(Logging off for now. I'll be on late tonight/early in the morning. Bye for now!)

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Did Radiant pick up Lucitius’ accent?)

Ehvara hissed angrily at the sight of Radiant, but didn’t move from her perch. Mardicos turned at Asuka’s call, but huffed and continued to circle. He then finally sat down, sniffing the air and licking his lips. His ears listened close to every sound in the area.

As Radiant stood, Lucitius watched and casually stretched his legs out, his purr fading to silence. It did sadden him a bit that she had gotten up, but he didn’t want to admit it. If Synthia ever found out that another woman had been in his lap, she’d throttle him. Though… he always enjoyed a little rough treatment.

Lucitius quickly pushed those thoughts aside, scratching the back of his head nervously and hoping that Radiant wasn’t strong enough to read his mind, even with his defenses. He chuckled slightly, before finally realizing that Radiant was talking.

“As I said before, Archangels were driven to extinction long ago in mine multiverse. You are officially the first one I have met. Also, I have surpassed all of the tiers of gods that exist at home, with the exception of the primary deities, a rank that has been unoccupied for eons of eons. I know no one else that equals me…”Lucitius trailed off, looking away momentarily with a melancholy gaze. He almost seemed like a lonely child in that moment.

He then looked up at Radiant again when he heard her question.

“I have spent mine entire life hunting creatures like Goldergon. I am loathe to join their ranks. Yet, I am uncertain if mine actions would qualify as good. I may be called Blue Angel by some, yet I am no angel,”Lucitius answered.

“Coward! All of you are cowards!”Ehvara abruptly cried.

“Then fight, Vanisher. We are waiting,”Lucitius called back.

Ehvara hissed, hesitating, then teleported. Lucitius flicked his finger again, and once Ehvara appeared, she was thrown through the same building again. An amused grin curved Lucitius’ lips.

Mardicos stood up and wandered into an alley, where a feminine howl proceeded a harsh snarl. Moments later, Goldergon reappeared on the roof with a flustered expression, once more in his typical form, his neck mostly healed. The wolf trotted out of the alley, munching on a chunk of flesh.

(I think so. That would honestly be hilarious. Also, Radiant only has a rough sense of Lucitius' thoughts and feelings. Definitely enough to pick up on that.)

Radiant glances only once at Ehvara, then turns her attention back to Lucitius. She smiles, and the color of Asuka's eyes return to normal.

She says, just before she leaves, "You and I will continue our talk when things aren't so… violent. Good-bye, for now, Lucitius. And remember: you only gain a name when you do something to deserve it. Keep that in mind, my Blue Angel."

And as Asuka gains control of her body again, a feeling as though the warmth that was here just a moment ago is gone.

When Asuka sees that Ehvara was thrown through the same building as before, she tries to supress her giggles, but fails, and ends up just laughing at Ehvara. "Oh, my god! Lucitius, that is amazing." she says this while still trying to get ahold of her laughter, and failing. Eventually, she manages to stop laughing.

Abruptly, she says, "And I can tell you don't want me to get up from your lap, but…" her words trail off into an embarrased silence, and she wonders why she said anything.

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Lol, That would be hilarious!)

“I am called Blue Angel because of mine wings and silhouette,”Lucitius mumbled as Radiant returned to Asuka.

He then snickered at Asuka’s words, quite amused by the continued glare from Goldergon on his perch. He glanced off to the side, noting that Mardicos was sitting again, watching Goldergon patiently.

Lucitius looked back at Asuka as she spoke again, then burst into laughter. He lifted his hand.

“I will not force you to stay. Truthfully, if mine wife saw this, she would likely try to kill one or both of us. She is a fiery one, mine lovely Synthia,”he replied, barely able to contain his laughter enough to speak.

“Not if I got to you first!”Goldergon called.

“Shut it, you insignificant trickster!”Lucitius retorted immediately. Goldergon hissed at him.

Lucitius turned away, ignoring Goldergon, his grin remaining as he glanced around. He was still quite content with Asuka in his lap, though he wouldn’t argue if she decided to get up. He secretly hoped she wouldn’t, as she was currently keeping him grounded while his mind continued to whirl at its new clarity.

Mardicos huffed at the interactions around him, beginning to groom. He seemed irritated that he had to resort to grooming just to keep himself occupied. There was an undoubtable bloodlust in his frighteningly beautiful blue eyes, one that was nowhere close to being satiated by the two chunks of flesh he had torn from Goldergon.

Deleted user

"Okay, I'll stay as long as you need, Lucitius. I can put up a barrier for now, that should prevent Goldergon from attacking, so that you don't have to worry." Asuka says, surprising herself and probably Lucitius.

"And Mardicos? Could you please make sure no one tries to enter this place?" she says, hoping he'll respect her enough to listen.

She proceeds to throw up a powerful dome of pure angelic power, and places wards to prevent anyone but her or Lucitius from disturbing the dome. After she finishes this, she passes out again, and again she lays against Lucitius, unconscious.
