( ok because I am in this chat and I get hurt by Nyx a lot so I need help as Toky to get him back )
Nyx pauses, waiting for this new creature to come closer. He was suddenly tired of everything… life, killing, pain. He suddenly shouts out for someone to kill him, hoping Lucitius can hear him. Furiously, he heals Lucitius and revitalizes him, screaming "Wake up, kill me, I'm done with this shit! JUST KILL ME!" Nyx shouts that last part at the universe, hoping that maybe this new creature can kill him. Knowing that it probably can't.
Toky: YAY FINALLY SOMEONE CAN KILL HIM NOW I HOPE I CAN BE THERE FRIEND!!
(Miku, you are most definitely not powerful enough to kill Nyx. Also, anything that can kill Nyx you don't want to be friends with.)
(Sorry about taking so long. Here is Nyx’s death)
Lucitius burst awake once he was healed, lightning arcing off of him. He abruptly teleported, appearing next to Nyx and Goldergon in mid-swing.
He screeched, his staff connecting with Nyx’s neck with an audible snap. As an added contingency, Lucitius waved his hand, five lightning bolts swirling into one massive white lightning bolt that exploded over Nyx, potentially disintegrating him into nothing more than a pile of ash.
Goldergon hissed and vanished, knowing that he couldn’t defeat Lucitius on his own.
“Shit!”Lucitius cried out in pain, leaning against a wall with a shaking body.
Blood soaked his body and his skin only slowly returned to its pale complexion. His scales were still loose, and his marking was shattered. He seemed about to faint, but somehow managed to stay conscious, holding desperately onto his staff.
Toky: THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Lucitius glanced toward Toky, looking away without replying. A loud wheeze echoed from his throat and he groaned, closing his eyes.
Goldergon watched from several buildings away, unsure what to do. Lucitius would protect everyone in the town. How could he murder people now? He hissed angrily, glaring at Lucitius.
(Thank you, Serpentess! I'm pretty sure Nyx can't come back.)
Also, here's Asuka:
Name: Asuka Medelin René Halstead III
Nicknames (if any): Asuka, Sunshine (affectionate name, only close friends can use), Daylight Girl, etc.
Gender/Pronouns: She/her
Race: Light elf
Age: She is 32, but since she's an elf she looks like a 16 year old girl.
Appearance: Roughly ~100 lbs., 6' 2" with white hair, light grey eyes, pale white skin, hourglass figure, pointed ears, full lips, long eyelashes, eyebrows that wing up at the corners, a tattoo of a bird of prey on one shoulder.
Personality: Shy, introverted, quiet, charming when she gets over her shyness/introvertedness, actually quite brave.
Powers (if any): She can coax plant life to grow even in areas where plant life shouldn't be, as a result of her ancestry as an elf touched by the sun.
Likes/Dislikes: She likes music, poetry, animals, and horse-back riding. She dislikes cruelty and excessive violence, rudeness, and large gatherings of people.
Background: She is the heir to the seat of Clan Halstead on the Council of Dawn, the ruling council of the light elves.
Other: Soft-spoken/doesn't speak very much, hides partly behind her hair when embarrased, pays attention to what people say, tends to stay on the outskirts of large gatherings when possible, tends to wander around wild areas and explore. Despite the fact that she is an introvert, she is a fierce fighter, and has been known to seriously injure those who try to harm her or anyone/anything she loves. She'll also deep clean an entire palace herself if she sees the servants being worked too hard.
(Thumbs-up. She’s cool)
(Also, don't mess with Asuka, Goldergon. Glares)
(Goldergon: Huffs, no promises)
(Me: I’ve still got my bag if you misbehave)
(Goldergon: Pouts)
(Edit: Ooh, I just got an idea. At some point, I could trade out Goldergon with another, more mellow, character. Still debating though. Though, I also have no issues playing three characters. The more, the merrier for me, but either way)
(I, personally, would love to see you try and manage 3 characters at once. That would be amusing.)
(Evil grin, I shall return with my third character)
(Lol. He seems interesting. Also, here's how Asuka manages to get into this weird place. And sorry about the length.)
Asuka stumbles a little when she hits the ground, her eyes closed tight. Hesitantly, she opens her eyes to see an unfamiliar landscape, with a village directly in the center of her vision. The ritual suceeded, she thought. I'm where the disturbances in reality everywhere are coming from.
Cautiously, she casts a spell to determine if there is anything living or dead in the area, sighing when it takes more than a minute for the spell to return anything to her. Then, it comes back, distorted with the power of 2 or more entities on the other side of the village. She starts shaking from the malevolence coming off of one, and the insanity coming off the other.
"Who… who are these… these… things that give off such disturbing auras to be felt even in another dimension?" she whispers, horrified. She quietly sprints over to where the auras are coming from, now sensing another, weaker, but just as malevolent aura, quickly fading. She traces it back to the corpse of something that she thought was a myth, something to scare children into behaving.
"N-no. It c-can't be. I'm j-just… imagining things. Yes, that's it. I-it's just my imagination." she whispers this, absolutely terrified now. She then notices the other two, the ones giving off the strong, disturbing auras.
Suddenly, she recognizes the auras. "NO. Lucitius, you cannot be here. It is NOT safe." she glares at Lucitius while she says this, apparently forgetting her shyness and absolute terror at the other being.
"Also, WHY are you HERE, Goldergon? Did Radiant not kill you?" she is furious, and rightly so. Goldergon is less known than the corpse, who she remembers is-was-named Nyx. Goldergon is notorious for his acts of terror, and Asuka has personally encountered him, although she doesn't expect Goldergon to remember her. As a matter of fact, she depends on it.
She looks back and forth from Goldergon and Lucitius, already getting some ideas as to what had happened. She notices then the other people.
"And who else do we have? A spirit, a demon, a werewolf, a human and a fox demon. An interesting mix of creatures." she says this with a curious gleam in her eyes, one that says she's a lot more intelligent and so much more of a calculating person than anyone gives her credit for.
(She's more calculating than she lets on, btw. Keep that in mind when you interact with her. She is actually shy and introverted, however, so she can hide easier than one would think a slightly glowing elf could. Also, I kinda threw in a couple of last-minute details, for the purposes of mystery and whatnot. She's also a good actor. The whole confidence bit is most definitely an act. She is really, really scared right now.)
(Sorry for the length)
Goldergon turned and hissed at the mention of Radiant. His eyes then narrowed at Asuka, wondering why she seemed so familiar despite not accurately remembering her.
“I transcend such things as time and death, fool elf!”he snapped.
Lucitius started laughing at that comment.
“You, a damn Vanisher, transcend time and death? I never realized how arrogant Vanishers could be, yet, I admit I have met few,”Lucitius snorted.
Goldergon glared. Lucitius shook his head, completely amused by the Vanisher’s anger.
“And I am quite certain I should not be here, elf woman. I am far from mine intended destination,”Lucitius added, glancing at her. He noted the fear in her smell, but said nothing about it.
Off to the side, Mardicos abruptly appeared on the porch of a shop, holding his axe on his shoulder. He froze at the sudden change of scenery, then sighed, shaking his head.
“What mischeif has befallen me now? The magic of another witch?”he grumbled, looking at all of the new creatures that were so utterly alien to him.
Lucitius turned, smiling thoughtfully.
“A chosen of the gods, I see. Such a fascinating tale, the legend of the Midnight Wolf,”he commented.
Mardicos glared,”And how do you know of it?”
“Legends know of other legends. Yet, your bloodline was thought to have long been dead. Seems I miscalculated,”Lucitius mused.
He turned away, groaning again. Mardicos watched Lucitius warily, but didn’t reply. Goldergon licked his lips, wondering if he had just found a new victim.
Asuka looks enraged at the "elf woman" comment. "Did you seriously just call me 'elf woman'? How dare you? I'm sure you, of all people, would recognize one who has been blessed with the friendship of an arcangel. Or would you? And I can see you thinking, Goldergon. It does not matter who I am to you. What does matter is what you did to my sisters. And do not assume you can just harm one such as Mardicos or Lucitius so easily. Not without help." Asuka looks surprised but satisfied at her outburst.
"And as for transcending time and death, think again. Dimensions and reality transcend time and death. You are neither, and so, you cannot be above aging or dying." she says this with a certain ammount of fear at provoking Goldergon, but anger and a desire to prove that she isn't weak. She can't explain this, so she stops thinking about it and just goes with it.
"And Mardicos, I assume you might have been within the range of my ritual. I did it in a forest to avoid alerting anyone. Did you happen to be in a forest just now?" she speaks directly to Mardicos now, wondering how he got here.
Felix walked towards the scene (where Nyx was killed), and watched as most disappeared. But as a major demon of Hell, he saw something the rest wouldn't see. Nyx's soul has left his body, and he is proceeding to the afterlife.
(do you think Nyx is going to Heaven or Hell)
(HELL. Definitely hell. I mean, do you even know what he's done? And if you want to take control of him, be my guest! If you want, I could literally just give you the character.)
"It appears, soul, your destination is my domain. Hell. Sorry, I guess. You're lucky a Prince of Hell is to reap your soul. But before I send you off, answer this. Why did they kill you? I only saw the end." Nyx was suddenly able to speak.
(maybe, but I think I'll let you keep him. idk at this point)
"They killed me because I wanted them to. I was tired of the death, the pain. I was in the process of killing Lucitius when I just realized I was done with that stuff. So, I let Lucitius kill me. Now, can I die in peace?" Nyx says this all in a distant, faint voice: the voice of the damned.
Asuka notices the surge of necromancy, as attuned to the life and balance of things as she is. She searches for the source and sees a demon, near Nyx's body. "Oh, no you don't." she mutters, determined to keep the fiend from reviving Nyx.
(Okay. Just know my offer will still stand if you choose otherwise. And also, if anyone else wants Nyx, feel free to ask.)
(Sorry for the length, got a little carried away)
(Tempting offer, but I find it difficult to play/have characters made by other people. I don’t know why)
Lucitius sighed,”Archangels were killed to extinction eons upon eons before mine birth, thus I have no knowledge of your kin. However, I know of elves, hence the moniker.”
His voice was quieter than in the last few minutes, and pain swirled in his eyes, but Lucitius didn’t move to acknowledge it.
Goldergon whirled on Asuka, growling.
“I am stronger than I appear, elf. And all Vanishers are immortal. We are timeless beings, wandering the multiverse until we are killed by the lucky few powerful enough to do so. I’d love to meet Radiant again, that I might rip her to shreds,”Goldergon hissed, his claws appearing.
“Such tiny little claws. A simple cat has larger claws than you,”Lucitius remarked.
Goldergon hissed at him,”I can rip out flesh with or without them!”
Lucitius raised a hand, showing off claws that stretched longer than a foot. They then grew longer.
“I can cut you in half without a thought, horizontally or vertically,”he countered.
Mardicos rolled his eyes at the two beings, looking at Asuka with a sigh.
“I was in a forest. There are many forests where I’m from. But, I could care. Why do these two creatures continue with a futile pissing match? I thought royalty was bad,”Mardicos said.
Goldergon glared. Lucitius glanced at Mardicos with a thoughtful grin.
“This one, Goldergon, loves murder. I, Lucitius, love murdering creatures like him,”he snickered.
“You can try!”Goldergon hissed.
“Were you not killed by an Archangel? Vanisher, I am no Archangel, I am a demigod, nearly a true god. The lesser gods cannot fathom mine power for I am the last of mine bloodline!”Lucitius retorted, laughing.
Goldergon growled, flexing his fingers. Mardicos then stepped between them.
“If you two don’t shut up, I will morph and tear both of you to pieces. I could care how powerful you are,”Mardicos hissed.
Goldergon rose an eyebrow in bewilderment. Lucitius simply smiled, glancing at Nyx’s body for a moment, but otherwise not moving.
Felix raised his eyebrows. "I am not committing necromancy if that's what you believe. I am sending him to his final life. But, he is a confusing case. He has committed forgiveness by sacrificial atonement, which always complicates things. I know, however, he will not be let into Christ's dominion. He must still go to Hell if he is to die." Felix looked back at Nyx, though Asuka couldn't see him. "But it won't be as bad as you think. Consider me your… insider friend."
Asuka laughs at all of this, then quickly becomes silent again, quite content for the men to finish their size contest without bothering her.
"You know, this is all very fun to watch." she whispers, smiling. She waits for Lucitius and Goldergon to work out their difficulties.
"And demon, necromancy is any sort of death magic. I know death magic when I sense it." Asuka says this in a disapproving tone, very much not pleased with the imbalance, however temprorary.
Lucitius glanced at Asuka with an amused snort, shaking his head. His leg then buckled and he abruptly collapsed, laughing.
“Pain is pleasure, pleasure is pain! What is this madness that haunts the rain!”he sang, laughing still.
Goldergon hissed gleefully, teleporting next to Lucitius. Mardicos quickly snatched him and threw him to the side, a low growl echoing from his throat, one eye becoming an icy blue.
“I am in no damn mood to watch two idiots fight because of a pissing match! Shut up, sit down, and don’t move from that spot!”Mardicos snapped powerfully.
Goldergon sat up and eyed Mardicos in confusion, then laughed, mocking the man. Mardicos waved dismissively at him, turning to check on Lucitius. Lucitius’ laughing ended with a groan and he fell unconscious. Mardicos rolled his eyes, his mood souring even more.
“I’m not even going to ask what happened to him. It’s just going to piss me off even more,”Mardicos sighed.
“I poisoned him and helped tear off all of his scales,”Goldergon replied.
Mardicos sighed irritably and glared at Goldergon, then walked over to a nearby bench and sat down.
(Yes, this happens a lot to Lucitius. Even though he heals fast, he doesn’t have a very high pain tolerance. So, when this happens, it’s like his mind glitches, so he can cope with the pain)
