Max's ears turned pink and he quickly let go. "I-um-I-It's fine," He muttered, walking towards his house.
Max's ears turned pink and he quickly let go. "I-um-I-It's fine," He muttered, walking towards his house.
Alita didn't know if she should follow him or not so she started kicking at the leaves on the ground and looked at the ground.
Max quickly and quietly walked towards his house, thinking of ways he could get into the house without his family noticing.
Alita watched him walk off and sighed wow, im am such a dork she thought to herself and shook her head. she picked her boots up and walked silently towards her family's house.
Max quietly opened the door to his house to find his parents, and his sister, sitting on the couch and waiting for him. nonononoononononono, crapcrapcracpcrap, whyyyyyy He sighed. "I thought we told you to never leave the house, except for in the morning so you can hunt," His mother growled. "You only have one more chance, after that, you're going to be an orphan," His father said coldly after his mother. "Okay, okay, I get it," Max grumbled, walking towards the basement. After what just happened, he wasn't sure if he should tell his parents about his broken arm.
Alita sighed and opened the door to the house, her mother was in the kitchen cleaning and frantically shushed her "Your siblings are sleeping." her mother whispered and pointed to the couch, where Alita's youngest brother had fallen asleep. Alita nodded and headed down the basement stairs, where her room was temporarily while she was moving to a new house. she flopped onto her makeshift bed and grinned, thinking about her day, and conversation with max.
Max sighed and sat down with his back against the wall. He pulled his knees up to his chest and sighed, making sure to be careful with his arm. He could technically leave the house but he didn't have enough money so he was staying with his parents until he had enough money, but now they won't even let him leave the house.
Alita looked out her one small window and saw that the sun was setting very quickly, she quickly changed out of her hunting clothes and into a pair of black cargo pants, a black t shirt, and combat boots. she opened the window expertly and slipped outside, closing the window behind her, Alita wandered through town for a while but soon found her way back to the woods.
Still thinking about life.
(XD great sentence)
Alita finally got to her tree and climbed up for the third time that day. she laid back on the trunk and let her legs rest on the thick tree limb she was sitting on, Alita started humming to herself and soon dozed off in the tree.
(lol thx!)
Still thinking about how shitty his life is. like mine!
Alita woke up slowly and realized she was still in the tree. she climbed down to the ground below the tree and curled up into a ball, and thought about about walking back to her bed in her family's house, but decided against it and fell asleep again below the tree.
(btw, are u oki with cursing? srry I didn't ask!)
Max sighed and laid down on his bed and glanced at the ceiling. He shifted around a bit so he could be comfortable then fell asleep.
(You're fine! cursing is ok, but i try not to have my characters curse, you can if you want though!)
Alita slept peacefully all night and woke up very early in the morning. she stumbled up and walked back to her parents house, she slipped back into her room and changed back into her hunting clothes. Almost running into her door, Alita made her way upstairs and grabbed an apple before heading back outside.
(oh oki den)
still sleeping.
Alita made her way to the lake that she visited yesterday. she sat down at the edge and looked into the water I wonder if i'll see max again.. she thought to herself and dipped her toes into the water after taking off her boots.
"WAKE UP, YOU LAZY DOLT!" His sister yelled after she opened the door. Max jumped and woke up. "I'm up! I'm up!" He yelled. He got up, got ready, and went out into the forest again, mumbling something about how his parents liked his sister but not him.
Alita rolled her pants legs up and waded into the water, which was noticeably colder that yesterday. She walked over to a large patch of lily pads and started looking for frogs because she didn't want to go hunting yet.
Max walked past the tree he fell from and glared at it, as if it was the tree's fault. He then kept walking, looking around for other trees to use for hunting.
Alita soon found a giant bullfrog and snuck up on it, catching it easily. she walked back to the shore with the bullfrog on her hands and set it down, letting it jump away before sitting down on the shore herself and sighing.
Max kept walking, not sure if he was able to hunt anymore.
Alita rolled over on the ground and groaned "i don't wanna huntttt.." she slowly sat back up and sarcastically yelled to no one "urgggggg, life is great!"
Still walking.
Alita decided to stop whining and put her boots on, ready to hunt now that she had yelled for a little bit. she started to walk through the woods and saw a familiar shadow walking as well "hey max!" she yelled and waved to him, jogging up to him and hoping that it actually was him.
Max glanced backwards when he heard someone yell his name. "Oh, hey, Alita," He said.
