Cassie snorted softly with a half smile. "Well, some of us have some better built shitboxes." She patted the top of her dashboard. "Ain't that right Christine. This hunk of garbage was gutted and rebuilt from the ground up by my dad and I."

"Well I'm ether going to have to rebuild a engine or by a new one for mine so that'll be fun. " ash groaned and rubbed her temples

"I mean, I can always help if you want. I'm in pretty good with a lot of the parts stores around here, I can probably get you a discount or two on stuff."

"You can if you want to I'll have to get a buddy of mine to take my car back to my place though "

"Cool. One of my friends lets me use his garage whenever I need work done, I'm sure he wouldn't mind bringing in someone else."

"Alright thanks I appreciate that. "

"Ah, don't mention it. From one gearhead to another, it's just what we do." Cassie shrugged as she pulled into the parking lot for the theater.

"Well what do ya know you can be nice. " she said winking at Cassie before unbuckling and sliding out of the car

Cassie just rolled her eyes as she shut off the car and stepped out. "Only when I need to be. I'm an asshole, not a bitch." She shrugged.

"You'r definitely an asshole… But I guess that's just another thing we have in common"

"Yeah but people like you a hell of a lot more than they like me." Cassie snorted before heading up to the building.

"That's because I'm seem less intimidating than you. "

"And you can have that title. I like being feared."

"I like to surprise people , see you should be scared of me but most people don't know that. "

"Being feared means people leave me alone. The only reason people don't fear me is because they learn to respect me it's an interesting pipeline."

"You can't be alone all the time though. "

Cassie shrugged. "The friends I do gave aren't here. I don't need them to be."

"You have friends? That's surprising. "

"Thanks I know. It's just that my friends aren't all theater nerds like the rest of us."

"I wouldn't exactly call myself a nerd, you absolutely but not me. "

"You're the lead role in a voluntary theater. I just work here. So I don't know who you think you are saying that."

"Shh just stop talking. " she couldn't help but laugh at Cassie's comment because she was right

Cassie rolled her eyes with a slight smile. "Don't have to tell me twice." She walked into the theater to start her day, game face on.

"You stacy wait up hot stuff " ash ran after a cast member so they could practice and waved at Cassie

Cassie gave her a half-hearted wave in return and went to get her headset so she could get to work herself.

Her and the cast member sat on the couch back stage laughing as something ash said while the did their lines

Cassie was working backstage, most trying to set up things for lights and mics, quietly ordering her crew as needed.

Ash kept looking at Cassie while she was talking with stacy

Cassie definitely noticed Ash's staring but didn't say anything, just glancing back at her every once in a while.
