Cassie raised an eyebrow at her, not believing a word she said but said nothing. If Ash was still in denial like she herself had been for so long, she wasn't one to break into it.
Cassie raised an eyebrow at her, not believing a word she said but said nothing. If Ash was still in denial like she herself had been for so long, she wasn't one to break into it.
Ash was thankful she didn't all her out on her bullshit and looked out the window with a small breath
It didn't take too much longer for Cassie to pull up to where she'd found Ash that morning. "You alright being dropped off here? Or is there somewhere better."
"I can have my friend pick me up from here it's fine I need to get my car off the side of the road. "
"That's very true." Cassie snorted as she looked over to see the no longer smoking vehicle that had been left there that morning.
"Yeah id rather it not get damaged any further. "
"Right, just remember that I can probably help you get it fixed or replaced at a discount."
"Yeah of course thanks I'll let you know when we can to that part. "
"Alright then. I guess this is where we part ways."
"Yep…. I'll uh see you tomorrow. "
Cassie couldn't stop herself from grabbing Ash's wrist before she got out. "Wait." She paused. What exactly was she doing this for? "Just…stay safe, okay?"
She flinched when she grabbed her wrist but nodded her head -yeah i-ill be careful. "
Cassie gave her a shy, genuine smile, squeezing her wrist gently before letting go.
She smiled back at her before climbing out of the car "have a good night~"
Cassie waved her off with a roll of her eyes. "Yeah yeah, goodnight and good riddance."
"You know you love me~"
"Against my will. Now go before I run you over."
"Oh please," she gave her a wink before stepping out of the car and shutting the door and walking around to her car
Cassie shook her head with a small smile before driving off, back to her own apartment to decompress.
Ash called her friend and let him know where she was so he could pick her up
Cassie arrived at her place with a heavy sigh. When had her life gotten so monotonous.
Ashlyn made it home about an hour and passed out on her couch
Cassie walked into her apartment and went about her usual nightly routine. She checked her phone right before bed, sighing when there were no notifications. What else had she expected. She just put it on charge, turned over, and went to sleep.
That morning ash woke up and remembering she didn't have a car "fuck how am I supposed to get to the theater? "
When Cassie's alarm woke her up the next morning, she just laid there and stared at the ceiling. She felt bad about Ash, she still needed a ride. Cassie just sighed. Damn her weak heart.
