"Yes, here," he said, rolling his eyes like it was obvious. "Where else would I hide you? The dumpster on the bottom floor?"
"Yes, here," he said, rolling his eyes like it was obvious. "Where else would I hide you? The dumpster on the bottom floor?"
“That would be gross.” He made a face, “Hey do you have a shower I can borrow?”
"Of course I have a shower," he muttered. He nodded towards the holiday. "Third door on the right is the bathroom."
Darren nodded his thanks before darting off to the bathroom. He hated being dirty which wasn't a good quality for a runaway.
"Soap is under the sink!" he called after him, before returning to eating his food in silence, thinking everything over.
( @Typhoon1912 )
“Thanks!” Darren hustled into the bathroom. He didn’t really stink but he was dirty and it was rare he had this opportunity.
(Timeskip?)
(Sure. Where ever you want is fine)
(After the shower, I guess)
Darren stepped out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist. “Hey can I borrow a shirt? Mine is still soaked,”
Alistair was sitting on the couch, working on his homework when he looked up at the sound of Darren's voice. Immediately he looked back down and swallowed, rolling his shoulders. "Yeah… Yeah sure, I'll get you one, in a second," he mumbled. I did not need to see that… Don't mind though…
“Sweet” Darren went back I tot he bathroom to put his pants on before sitting in the Living room and waiting although he didn’t mind.
(Herro?)
(OH! I didn't realize you posted ;-; )
Alistair stood up and wandered past to his room to find a shirt that might be large enough for Darren. He tended to wear clothes too large for him so it wouldn't be too hard to find. He came back with a large grey shirt and set it on the dining table. "Your shirt's on the dining table," he said, before returning to the couch to finish his homework.
(Lol)
Darren sighed… He really couldn't bring it to him… He stood up and retrieved the shirt, sliding it over his body. "Thanks,"
He just hummed in response, not bothering to say You're welcome. "Gonna sit down or what?" he said.
"I guess," Darren reentered the room and sat down, he kept his distance so he wouldn't make it too awkward.
"So aren't you going to entertain me with your tales of woe?" he asked, glancing at him. "Thought you'd have something to say."
Darren was no good at storytelling unless they weren't true… "What do you want to hear?"
"Stuff," he said, leaning back from the table. "What's it like being a runaway?"
Darren laughed, "Hell mostly. I'm kidding it's not that bad. I'm a conman so people usually do what I say due to my skills,"
"Conman, huh?" he said, raising an eyebrow. He scooted next to Darren, smiling mischievously. "How do I know you're not conning me right now?"
