Wren shifted on his feet, following as they crossed the street. He hated when she walked in front of him. It made him feel like she was guiding him like a puppy. He hated being a puppy.

She then levitated farther in front of him,checked the time,and smiled."Perfect we have enough time." She then turned down a different corner. Valentina had a huge taste for fashion, inherited from her great great great great aunt. Said aunt owned a small shop boutique just a few streets away from the store so she went there all the time.

Wren was in his own head when Val turned. As soon as he noticed he had to step on his brakes, abruptly changing direction.
“Where are you going?” he asked.

She was to far ahead to hear him as she suddenly dropped her bags and flew far ahead,just barely within sight.

Wren raised an eyebrow and picked up the bags she had dropped down, not really knowing whether she even noticed she’d left them. He jogged to catch up, the bags slowing him down in just the slightest.

She soon reached the boutique and smiled with joy as she looked through the window at a gorgeous dress, and some shoes to match. "Oh wow…" It was black, covered with red roses, and short. A very 1950's style of dress. She then nodded once and opened the door, bell tinkling as she headed inside. There were umbrella's and fantastic suits, hats and wigs, satin gloves and even jewelry. It was all very beautiful. "Oh Val! My favorite great niece! With a boy this time? Poor chap, just set the bags by the door dear. Enslaving men to do your bidding early I see. Very good of you." The woman was very well…big. Unlike Valentina's tall slender figure. She was chubby and short, with big bulky jewles and makeup that was big and at least she thought looked good. "Aunt Patricia, may I try on the dress in the window?" The lady nods and soon Valentina is in the changing room, while the aunt looks you over. "Would you like a suit young man?"

@PaperHats business

“S-suit?” he asked, setting the bags down as instructed. “Well, I don’t see why not.”
He gave the woman one of his naturally charming smiles as he walked over, his eyes wandering around the shop.

She nodded and led him over to a corner in the store, and had him stand on a little stage in front of some mirrors, and she began to take measurements, singing quietly under her breath as she did her work. "Uh Patricia can you come help me zip it?" "Just a minute!" She sang out, and finished her measurements, and then lead him over to a section of the store. "You can choose any of the suits from here on down. Your a werewolf so the much bigger suits are on that wall over there." She pointed, then rushed off to her niece to go help.

Wren glanced back and forth between suits. He had no clue what to do. He’d never worn anything remotely fancy before, except for the very occasional collar.
His eyes settled on a dark black one, fitted with a deep red shirt beneath. A small red handkerchief was folded neatly within the pocket and the black tie was draped over the side.
He pulled it back, inspecting it and nodding slightly. It seemed as if it would match Val’s dress perfectly.

Valentina came out gracefully, and twirled in it, her eyes lighting up like stars. "Oh Wren don't I look gorgeous?" She asked with a huge smile on her lips, spinning around and around in front of the mirror, standing on the little stage, doing both graceful and funny poses. "Aunt could you make me one like this, but with a lower neckline and no sleeves?" The aunt nodded. "Yes of course dear." Valentina continued having her fun as the aunt looked at you. "Do you need any help,handsome?" She asked, looking at him.

Wren had to keep his jaw from falling to the floor as he watched Val prance around.
“Y-you certainly do,” he breathed. His attention then turned back to Val’s aunt with much labor.
“Oh- uh- sure,” he said. “I really like this one.” He pointed at the one he had been inspecting, but his eyes were still lingering on Valentina.

She smiled and twirled around another time. The aunt nodded and led him to the dressing room, helping him when he called out for help. By the time he was out she was sitting on the stage, kicking her legs back and forth. A record player was playing some music, and she sat there enjoying herself.

Wren walked out, strutting more or less. He kept his sleeves down with colorful cuffs, and he tugged on the bottom of the jacket like he had seen models do before. He walked up to the glass stage, giving a little dance-y spin.

She looked him over and blushed, then turned away so he couldn't see, mentally scolding herself. That suit won't stay nice for long anyways. She told herself, but she couldn't help but look over him.

Wren was smiling widely as he looked back over at Val. He would have looked much better if his hair wasn’t a mess, but that quality at least made him look like himself. The rest of him looked like a completely different person.
“Well?” he asked, spreading his arms. “What’dya think?”

Before Valentina could speak up her aunt cut in. "Dear you look oh so handsome! Oh you two look like your about to go to some fancy dance or a date!" Valentina blushed a this and she turned away from the two, not wanting either of them to see just how flustered her usually cool and control character was getting.

Wren’s face flushed and he grew stiffer, uncomfortably turning back around and fixing his collar in the mirror. He didn’t say anything, just silently contemplated what it would be like.

The aunt noticing she had created the silence decided to break it as she clasped her hands together. "Well! Let's get you two undressed and sent off back home! Wouldn't want your mother worrying to much hm Vallie?" Valentina rolled her eyes and headed to her changing room, and quickly undressed and redressed.

Wren retired back to his own room, taking a moment to look at himself, then returning to his normal clothes. He hung the suit as nicely as he could and was slightly disappointed to see him as himself again. Before Val was out, he had already grabbed all the bags, waiting patiently for her return.

She came out, and then walked over to her aunt, whispering in her aunts ear, glancing at Wren once or twice. Her aunt nodded. "Of course! It'll be perfect." "Thanks Aunt Pattycake." She took some bags from his arms and flew out the door, levitating just in front of him, umbrella hoisted up high with a grin on her face.

@PaperHats business

“What was that?” Wren asked. “Excuse me for prodding.”
He followed, slightly lagging behind on his own account. It wasn’t his fault— he was still trying to recover from how beautiful Val had looked. He’d never seen her so happy.

"Don't worry about it." She said with a huff, trying to ignore how he had seen a very personal side to her that no one, not even her family really, had ever seen in her. But she had always loved fashion and clothing of any kind, so even though he and his…nice looking self was there, overall the time wasn't wasted.

@PaperHats business

“Okay,” he said nicely, his voice soft. He pressed no further as he walked, a slight skip in his step. He had a lingering smile of sorts that was clearly visible from the twinkle in his chocolate eyes.

"Why're you so happy?" She asked plainly,slowing down to float slowly next to him, eyes staying glued to his face.

@PaperHats business

He looked up at her, doing a bit of a double take.
“I-I don’t know. Why not?” he retorted, but then thought better of it. “Well I liked that suit. It was nice. And your dress was beautiful. Y-you, too, if I’m being honest.”
