I like this idea and I wanna see how it plays out:

A soldier has just returned home from their tour of duty and is suffering from some pretty severe issues. Their friends get pretty worried about them and hire some in-home help to look after them and keep them from hurting themselves. This in-home help and the soldier start off at complete odds. The soldier hates the help and sees them as a sign of weakness, treating them terribly as a result. Eventually, the help and the soldier begin to bond until the soldier no longer needs the help around and they part ways.

I have a character in mind for either the soldier or the in-home help, so you can play whichever you want. andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s rules apply and replies longer than one sentence are SOOOOOO appreciated (as is good grammar)

It's fine. Do you want to exchange character sheets or keep it a surprise? (If we don't exchange sheets, I'm still going to share appearance and name because the help would probably know those things)

Age: 25
Gender: Female

Personality: Elowan is easily angered and excited. She's not very level headed and almost never takes logic into account hen doing things preferring to improvise. She's incredibly protective of anything she sees as hers, including friends and family. She's loyal to a fault, and would rather chop off a leg than abandon anyone she loves. She's incredibly stubborn, which can get her in trouble because she often makes snap decisions that she sticks to all the way.
Likes: Beating people, when a gut feeling ends up being right, fire, winning fights, dancing, playing with fire
Dislikes: Losing, having her authority challenged, people being rude to her, perceived aggression towards her, people messing with her stuff

Totally! Give me a few minutes and I'll have something right out.

Everything was a mess and Elowan really couldn't bring herself to be sad. If her friends thought they could hire someone behind her back and expect her to be civil about things, they were clearly underestimating her ability to be mad. She had smashed at least one lamp, ripped up several sheets, and there were several empty beer bottles scattered around the floor. Whoever came to take care of her was not going to have a good time. She would make sure of it.

@Ervie

Erin pulled in in front of the house, checking the address. This was the place. She drove up the driveway, then climbed out, walking up the front path. Ding dong.

Elowan hopped off the couch with a scowl. A peek through the peephole revealed a pretty girl. Definitely the help. She didn't bother to open the door, just collapsed back in the center of her mess and yelled "It's open!"

@Ervie

Erin blinked and opened the door. When she saw the mess, she but her lip but said nothing. Spotting Elowen, she stepped forward and stuck her hand out. "Hello," she said warmly, "My name's Erin."

Elowan groaned, turning up the TV to distract herself from Erin. Maybe if she just ignored the help, she'd give up on the job and leave. Not that it was very likely. This was a job that would probably be paying well- Elowan's friends knew what a pain in the ass she could be.

On, great. Erin was one of those people. The kind that made the best of things and pestered you until you finally broke down and decided to give them a chance. Elowan glared at her instead of watching whatever nature documentary she'd been watching. It was something about lions, though Elowan coldn;t care less right now. "Don't you fucking start. I don't want you here."

@Ervie

She took her eyes off the screen for a moment, looking at Elowen. "Your friends do." Erin replied. She turned back to the screen. "But either way, you never considered the fact that I might not want to be here either."

Elowan had never been so happy in her life. If Erin didn't want to be here, it would be much easier to scare her off. All you had to do was push someone over the edge, and that edge was much closer when said person was cranky. "So? I don't care what you want. Just leave if you don't like me. It would make my day."

@Ervie

"You don't care what I want, so why should I care what you want? It seems like you want me to leave, but maybe I don't care." She watched the narrator talk about the lion's eating habits thoughtfully. "I think I'll stay for now."

Elowan sighed angrily and watched a lion chomp on some deer looking things. There was enough blood for her to keep from changing the channel. "Are you gonna be one of those live in people or just visit every day?" If Erin was the kind who just visited every day Elowan could just lock the doors and escape to some bar until Erin left.
