Asher chuckled softly. "Do you want me to look?"
Asher chuckled softly. "Do you want me to look?"
She turned to him and giggled faintly. “I’ll help you look but yes, please.”
Asher nodded, and started poking through the cupboards. He sighed softly.
Arabella joined in, opening up cupboards of things she had never seen before. She marveled at how beautiful it all looked. “You have a lot of fancy things.”
Asher smiled a little. "Yes." he agreed with a laugh, still looking around.
"Do you use all of these?" She asked, not liking silence. She preferred to be chatty.
Asher shrugged. "I don't cook, remember? I burn things when I cook." He chuckled softly.
Arabella laughed gently and shook her head. “I meant for parties or dinners? Do you invite people over?”
Asher chuckled. "Ah. I don't…have people over very often, actually."
“That’s alright. I almost prefer that. Father had many people over. A lot were suitors for me. But I never liked them much.”
"Ah. Yeah." Asher nodded a little bit. "I'm sorry." He ran a hand through his hair.
“Don’t worry about it. It’s in the past.” She grinned over at him, bags in hand. “I found them, by the way.”
He chuckled, and looked over at her. "Ah. Alright." He got up. "Shall we bag these cookies, then?"
“Lets do it!” She beamed, skipping over to him and smiling.
He grinned, and started to bag up the cookies.
She leaned against him as she helped, humming faintly.
He kept working on bagging the cookies.
Arabella glanced up at him every now and then, trying to discretely hide the fact that she was captivated by him already.
Asher continued to work, starting to hum softly.
She shifted lightly, swaying softly. “Could you… play the piano for me some day?”
Asher hesitated for a moment, going quiet. Then he nodded. "Yeah." He replied.
“Thank you. It doesn’t have to be anytime soon… you can do it in your own time. From the little I’ve heard you sound amazing.”
He smiled at her. "Alright." He kissed her forehead.
Arabella giggled softly at the kiss and beamed up at him.
He smiled at her.
