“I love soup.” She purred, laughing st herself. “It’s my favorite food. It’s warm and gentle and just amazing.”
“I love soup.” She purred, laughing st herself. “It’s my favorite food. It’s warm and gentle and just amazing.”
He chuckled. "Mm. That's good." He replied.
Arabella hummed softly, smiling gently at the man she had married. He was much more kind than before she liked it.
He kept driving, sighing softly. He raked a hand through his hair, making it stick up messily all over his head.
Arabella pouted at that. “Aw I did your hair all nice now it’s spiky.” She reached over to gently play with the spikes, giggling. “But it’s still just as nice.
He chuckled. "Mm. Sorry." He replied, keeping his focus on the road and not on her hands in his hair.
“It’s alright.” She hummed, still messing with his hair to make it less laid back but more presentable.
He kept driving through the city, headed towards the restaurant he had been talking about earlier. He reached over and turned on the radio, letting whatever station it was currently set on play.
Arabella eventually rested back in her seat, pulling her arms back into her sides and sighing. She closed her eyes and leaned back. “Driving is always so relaxing.l
He smiled. "For you, maybe. I have to navigate these roads without smashing my car up." he retorted, grinning.
“Oh hush the roads aren’t that bad.” She opened an eye to look at him, smiling. “But I understand that it can be stressful. I like car rides though. Very relaxing.”
He shrugged. "Yeah, they aren't. I guess." But after Peri…sometimes it's hard. Every time I see an accident, every time I see a wrecked car… he sighed softly. "And car rides aren't bad."
She nodded gently and set her hand on his arm. “It’s alright, Asher. We’re safe. I trust you.” She murmured gently. “I’ll drive you around whenever you want to go for a ride.”
Asher glanced over at her, then back at the road. "Alright." he replied, a small smile flickering over his face. "Thank you."
“It’s he least I could do. You’re so kind to me.” She murmured, bringing her hand up to trace her lips gently.
He smiled. "Mm. You're welcome." he replied with a smile.
She stared out the window for a little bit, watching as life flew by outside. “It’s a pretty day today. Would you like to go on a walk with me after work?”
He glanced over at her. "Oh. Uh…sure." he shrugged slightly. "Where?" He kept driving.
“Anywhere would work. Around the house, the neighborhood, up on a trail, anywhere you’d like to go. I like going outside now I’m allowed to.”
He nodded, then frowned slightly. "Allowed to?" He echoed, raising an eyebrow. "Did your father not even let you go outside?"
(I gtg in about fifteen minutes)
(Okay. Have a goodnight when you go!!)
“Not alone, no. And not very often. I always had to have him or some other person he hired to come with me. And I couldn’t go into stores. Our home was on a large plot of land. It took a good fifteen minutes to walk to the gate. And it was a good half hour from town. I was allowed to wander around our gardens.
(alright, i will! Same to you whenever you sleep!)
He nodded. "Ah. Well, that's something else that's changed. You can go for a walk whenever you want, just be careful and look out for animals and people. By people I mean murderers and rapists. I could care less if you decide to chat with the nice old lady next door."
(Haha thanks.)
She laughed softly. “Of course I won’t go talking to those kind of people. The old lady next door though, I’d love to meet her.” She sighed gently.

Asher grinned. "Yeah, she's nice. Lives in this little small Victorian style house, and it's absolutely gorgeous." He said. "And she adores visitors, so I'm sure she would be delighted if you paid a visit."
"Oh I'll for sure go pay her a visit!" She laughed softly and ran her fingers through her hair. "I'm sure she's an amazing woman."
