He chuckled. "Yes, I do." He replied, rubbing her back again. "Which muscles did you think I meant?" He asked in a joking tone.
He chuckled. "Yes, I do." He replied, rubbing her back again. "Which muscles did you think I meant?" He asked in a joking tone.
She giggled again and shrugged gently. “Not those ones.” Her eyes lit up playfully as she traced the lines of his face.
He rolled his eyes, chuckling. "Oh, I see how it is." He replied, kissing her cheek lightly as he rubbed her back.
Arabella relaxed some more, her hands sliding from his face up into his hair. “Soft…” She murmured, watching his face.
Asher leaned into her hands a little, enjoying the feeling of her hands in his hair. It had been a long time since anyone else had done this.
She smiled happily when he seemed to be pleased with the action. She gently massaged circles into his scalp, leaning forwards to kiss his cheek.
He closed his eyes, leaning into her hands almost the way a cat does when it is petted in just the right spot. He kept rubbing her back gently.
Arabella tilted her head and brought him closer to her. “Is this alright, Asher?” She murmured, pressing her forehead against his.
He hummed for a moment. "Mhm." He replied softly, opening his eyes a bit and looking at her.
She blushed when their eyes met, a soft and sheepish smile gracing her lips. “G-good. Tell me if anything ever feels uncomfortable.”
He chuckled softly. "I should be the one telling you that." He replied. "I'm the Fae male here, not you." He laughed, kissing her lightly, lips brushing against hers softly.
She laughed softly with him, smiling happily. “I can make sure my husband is happy.” She murmured against his lips, her eyes flickering closed as their lips brushed. It sent chills up and down her spine, leaving her wanting for more.
He chuckled softly. "Oh? And how are you going to do that?" he asked with a grin. He kept his forehead against hers, their lips closer than, perhaps, they had ever been before.
Arabella let her eyes open half-way, her lips tugging up into a larger smile. "By asking what you need and doing that, of course." She cupped his cheek with one hand, blushing lightly. Her mind was starting to go blank. He smelled so good and his lips were so soft.
"Yes, but what if i said i wanted something you didn't want to do?" He countered with a teasing smile, looking at her.
She faltered there, unsure of how to answer him. Her brain whirred for a moment before she bit her lip and held back a frown. "You wouldn't make me do anything I didn't want to do, Asher. You'd help me find another way to make you happy."
He smiled. "I know. I wouldn't." He replied. "I just wanted to see what your response would be." He kissed her cheek. "Good response." He added.
Arabella laughed softly, tracing the lines in his face once more. Her fingers explored from his cheekbones to his lips, tracing the outline of them with a small smile. "I trust you Asher. With my life and soul. You'd never do anything to hurt me purposefully. And I will never do anything to hurt you purposefully."
He smiled at her, keeping his arms securely around her. "Alright. Thank you." He replied softly, taking a soft breath as he felt her fingers on his face.
She giggled softly at his smile, humming happily. "I am your wife. I'm here for you, Asher." She glanced at his lips as she traced over them again. Was it bad for her to wish he'd kiss her? For her to wish he would love her wholly and unconditionally? She wanted that desperately.
He nodded. "Alright. And I'm here for you too. If you need anything, just tell me." He said softly, smiling lightly.
"I will. As long as you tell me what you need and want." Arabella lowered her hands to take his, bringing them to her face in a gentle kiss.
He nodded. "I will." He kissed her back lightly, almost hesitantly. He held her gently. I wish i could give her the love and attention she deserves, but instead I…give her this, but not everything. She deserves everything.
Her face softened at the kiss. It might have been hesitant but it was still progress. "Thank you, Asher." She tilted her head and slowly released his hands. "You should work. I don't want to keep you from it. I can't be too big of a distraction."
He gave a small chuckle. "You're too small to be a big distraction, Arabella." He told her with a grin, still rubbing her back lightly.
