Alexa goes into the cafeteria but skipping the line. She wasn't hungry. She sat at a table away from the others and sat in it, putting her earbuds in to drown out the noise.
Anne went into the Cafe and waited in line and got her food. It looked disgusting so she probably wasn't going to eat it. She sat down with her tray of food at the most empty table in the room. the table had one girl sitting at it with her earbuds in and no food. she took out her sketchbook and continued where she left off in homeroom. all the other teachers yelled at her when she took it out in their class.
I gtg for now, but I have a bit of drama for either after school or lunch, so hang tight ;)//
Chase saw Alastair and asked shyly, “Hey, can I sit with you?”
Alistair smiled brightly. "Of course! I was going to eat in the music room, is that okay with you? Or we can stay in the cafeteria."
“I’m happy with wherever,” Chase replied, “I just need to get some food first, then I meet you there?”
"Okay! I'll wait and we can walk there together," Alistar replied.
Chase went to the lunch line and got his food, and just as he was about to go meet up with Alistair, he heard some snickering behind him.
“Look at that, Gay-man is in a lunch date.”
“Maybe he finally found someone that doesn’t mind jacked up people.”
Chase turned and saw Jacob and Kemp leaning against the wall, watching him. Chase turned a deep shade of red, and said defensively, “We’re just friends.”
“Look at that, trying to go back in the closet, Gay-man?” Both boys sniggered as Chase felt even more heat rise to his face.
Alistair looked up from his phone and saw Chase in the lunch line… next to Jacob and Kemp. His blood boiled and he stood up and strode over to the lunch line.
"Hey, Chase!" he said cheerfully, before turning to the other two boys with a piercing gaze. "You two are just as ugly as I remembered."
Vaughn was in the cafeteria, waiting in a small line to get a bottle of water. He glanced around, eyes going to a pair of boys who seemed to be picking on another. Should he try and step in? Maybe, if it got physical he would. His eyes then glanced to his foster sister. What was her name again? Anne? Anne, that sounded right. He then wondered if he should go and at least try to talk to her.
Kemp rose his eyebrows, “Looks like lover boy just showed up, would you look at that?”
Jacob smirked, “Such a happy couple. Congratulations Gay-man, you finally found your match.”
Chase shrunk. Now Alistair would know. And then it would be awkward, or he would just reject Chase.
Ok, time for drama!//
Yano was walking to the cafeteria, on her way from her locker. She had her lunchbag in hand and was on her phone. Yano accidentally bumped into a group. She typed, Sorry showed it to the group, and continued walking. Before she could continue, however, a big and muscular arm slammed in front of her. Yano sighed and looked at the group,* ‘Here we go.’
“You know, you’re supposed to apologize when you bump into someone,” the boy with muscular arms growled.
A girl with brunette hair who was leaning on the lockers and examining her fingernails nodded in agreement, “So? Where’s the apology?”
Yano huffed and typed, Wow, how original. Bullying me for not being able to talk. I get this all the time, so just let me through. Yano’s ears were hot.
Another girl from the group glared at Yano, “Calling us unoriginal? Now that takes guts!” the girl started for Yano, but the girl against the lockers stopped her, “Bridget, didn’t you-?!”
“No, I didn’t hear a thing,” the girl on the lockers, who Yano assumed was Bridget, mischievously smirked at Yano.
Yano’s entire face gre warm, she lunged at Bridget, but one against six wasn’t exactly fair, especially when three of them were stronger than Yano. Yano’s attacks against them were futile, so she eventually gave up, too tired to continue fighting.
anne looked up when she felt someone's eyes on her. she saw her foster brother. she knew his name was Vaughn since the parents yelled it a lot. she looked at her sketchbook hoping he wouldn't sit with her.
Kemp rose his eyebrows, “Looks like lover boy just showed up, would you look at that?”
Jacob smirked, “Such a happy couple. Congratulations Gay-man, you finally found your match.”Chase shrunk. Now Alistair would know. And then it would be awkward, or he would just reject Chase.
Alistair rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "You two d*** heads are absolutely ridiculous. Your personalities lack any depth, your intelligence is meager at most, and your creativity is nonexistent. Messing with people will never make you better than them, so how about you give it a rest," he finished with a smile.
"Now if you two would excuse us, Chase and I are going to eat lunch. Have a nice day!"
He grabbed Chase's hand and started weaving his way through the other students to the exit.
Chase stumbled along after Alistair, eyes wide. Maybe he just hadn’t heard what they said…? Yeah, that’s probably it. Chase only felt the heat from his face dissipate until they got out of the lunch room, “I-“ Chase fumbled for words, “I don’t know what to say.”
"Alexa looks over at the people currently in the cafeteria. There are some music kids, nerds, athletes, and she was just by herself. She didn't care though. She hasn't cared in a few years. She tried before. Having friends, but it just wasn't worth it. There were some people there that she would've loved to hang out with but not anymore.
Vaughn got his water, shaking his head to himself as he left the cafeteria. He never ate too much at school, and he didn’t seem to eat much at home either, except when his foster parents made him sit and eat for their family dinner. Twisted off the cap, taking a long drink before giving a shallow huff and putting the cap back on. He frowned to himself, though, when he saw a group of at least six or seven kids up ahead. But something obviously wasn’t right. He quickened his pace, making his way over to the group who seemed to be picking on some girl. That just made him angry. He didn’t like to see woman getting hurt- something a therapist blamed on his previous trauma. So, he stood behind the group and spoke up in a level voice. “What the hell is going on here?”
Bridget, who was watching, looked over at the newcomer, “What’s it to you?” Bridget sneered. She crossed her arms and glared at him. She softly tapped the guy next to her with her foot and he stood up. He examined the newcomer.
Alexa decided to leave the cafeteria. There was nothing for her to do down there. As she made her way to her next class, she saw a group of kids in a fight. She saw the boy from the cafeteria earlier. She just gave him and the group of people a glance before walking away.
Once they got to the music room, Alistair let out a breath and flopped down in a chair, somehow forgetting that he was still holding Chase's hand, therefore pulling him down, too
"Oh, sh**. Sorry, Chase!" he exclaimed.
Vaughn gave the girl who spoke to him a sharp glare, giving the boy she nudged the same dangerous look. His jaw was clenched, and he almost hoped that the guy would try something. “I don’t know what the fuck this is about, and I don’t care what it’s about, but I think you all should leave her alone,” he hissed.
“Says who?” the boy growled and started for Vaughn.
Bridget held out her arm in front of the boy, “Now, now, Kieth,” Bridget smirked, “let’s not get ahead of ourselves,” she turned back to Vaughn, “Look, this doesn’t concern you, so you can just leave us be.”
“No, hold on. Keith, was it? My name is Vaughn Finley,” he started, not using his foster parents last name. That wasn’t his name, and they weren’t his parents. “And you’ll want to remember that. Faculty will be asking who to suspend when I break your fucking jaw,” he snapped.
Once they got to the music room, Alistair let out a breath and flopped down in a chair, somehow forgetting that he was still holding Chase's hand, therefore pulling him down, too
"Oh, sh**. Sorry, Chase!" he exclaimed.
Chase blushed as he nearly fell on top of Alistair’s lap, scooting away not a few moments afterward. Thankfully, he had set down his food on the table in front of them before he fell, “Y-You’re fine. I- I’m sorry,” Chase tucked himself into the corner of the couch, trying to take up as little space as possible. He sighed, “I- Well, now you know.” Chase needed to find out if Alistair had truly heard the Kemp-Jacob squad’s taunting.
