He was silent for a moment before he nodded and sighed, standing up and walking around the study, “I suppose a war wouldn’t be good right now, I’ll have to let Sonia and Jade know that our plans will have to be rescheduled but you can be with the girls today and whenever else if it prevents a war.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

Name: Zia Paulson
Nickname (If any):
Age (17+ if you can): 18
Caste (Anything but Caste 1 since that's royalty): Caste 4 (I can't remember the castes super well though sorry)
Sexuality: straight
Appearance (Detailed, Links are welcome): Zia has curly, dark hair that falls to her mid shoulders. She has lightly tanned skin, with a smattering of freckles across the bridge of her nose. She has bright green eyes. At only 5'1", she's very short, and she is, in addition, rather curvy. She doesn't have the greatest fashion sense, but does her best to dress nicely.
Personality: Zia is typically rather happy, though she has a bit of a quick temper at times. She can also be a touch stubborn, though only for things she is truly passionate about. She loves beautiful things, though not to the point where she would waste money or anything on them. More of she enjoys looking at it. She really enjoys natural beauty, like mountains, rivers, etc, and is an avid hiker.

Other:

(I hope she's okay!)

@gracehustle

(thanks!! So how should I introduce her? I have a couple ideas, depending on what you would rather do)

(Let’s hear your ideas! Otherwise you can just pretend she’s been there the whole time)

@ElderGod-Icefire

(well, my main idea was she arrives late bc since her family is so far north, it takes longer for the summons to get to her. So she arrives late, and runs into (maybe literally) either one of the other girls or the prince himself? That's what I was thinking. I really don't care if we do that or just say she's been there the whole time, up to you)

@gracehustle

“Will do mom,” He replied with a laugh, “I’ll be sure to mention it.” The prince looked around the study, a light smile on his face, “Do you need anything else before I find something to do with my day?”

@ElderGod-Icefire

(alright! Who should she run into, then? Because I don't really have a preference. (Er, i do, but you can pick whoever. Tho obviously the prince would be preferable) )

@gracehustle

(She can run into the prince :) he’s going to be leaving the study soon anyway and I can have him walk by the main doors)

@gracehustle

He sighed in fake annoyance and walked over to her, wrapping her in a tight hug as his smile came back, “There you go, one hug.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zia arrived at the palace, feeling very messy and very out of place. The summons had arrived late! Of all things! She had been camping in the mountains to boot, and was now arriving at the palace, for the SELECTION, dressed in…in hiking gear! Her dark hair was in a braid, and she wore larger boots that she wore for hiking. Yikes.

Lillian hugged him back for a moment then, "Alright ,now you shoo, go tell your father about this France situation, I have dresses to send for, a party to plan, girls to tutor, and a war to prevent, I'm simply swamped." Lillian rolled up her sleeves and began to write out notes and instructions, "And Talin, If any one asks I'm busy, unless it's you."

He nodded and headed to the door, smiling at his mother, “Will do, I’ll let you prevent a war in private.” With that, he slipped out and closed the door behind him, running a hand through his still uncombed hair as he bounced back down the stairs to try to find his father. His mind was already running with a million thoughts as he stopped in the front entrance to the palace, from rescheduling pizza with Sonia and Jade to finding his father and trying to decide what he was going to do with his now completely open day.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zia opened the door, walking inside quickly before she could lose her nerve and turn around. She squeaked as she nearly ran into a tall person, and she stumbled back, staring up at them. She brushed loose strands of hair out of her eyes, and swore inwardly. "I-I…" She stammered. "I'm so sorry." It took her a minute to recognize the man in front of her. "Oh! Crud, I'm so sorry!" She stammered, green eyes wide.

@gracehustle

He spun around when he felt someone bump into him, looking around before he saw a young woman with startling green eyes looking up at him. “You’re alright,” He said, taking a small step away from her, “And if I may ask, who are you?”

@ElderGod-Icefire

"I uhm…I'm Zia Paulson, and I…I'm here for the Selection? I'm late…" She bit her lip slightly, looking up at him. "You're huge." She blurted, then turned bright red. "Oh my God I'm sorry!" She said, covering her mouth with a hand and ducking her head, embarrassed. "I-I just meant that you're tall, not…er…oh geez…" She was still blushing a bright red.

@gracehustle

He cleared his throat to try to disguise the blush clearly spreading on his face as well, “Its alright Miss Zia, I’m just glad you could make it.” Straightening out his shirt, he looked at her again, clearly still processing her comment, “You're actually right on time. My mother, the queen, is going to be meeting with you ladies all day today. I don’t know where though, so maybe your best bet is to just head to your room?”

@ElderGod-Icefire

She chewed on her lower lip, still blushing. "Sorry." She said again. "I uhm…" She looked around. "I was told to wait inside and a maid would be along in a minute to show me the way." She looked down at her clunky hiking boots. "So uhm. I'll just wait here." She said, chewing on her lower lip and messing with the end of her braid nervously. This was NOT the first impression she had meant to make.
