(HAPPY 200TH COMMENT!!)
(Did you count all of them??)
(No it says in the blue bubble in the discussion. You got 200th comment congrats.)
(That makes sense)
When Melissa and Rowan reached Hagrid, he instructed them to board the boats waiting in the water. Melissa and Rowan shared a boat with two other people - a girl with curly blonde hair and a boy with hair that was practically neon red.
"I'm so excited!" Rowan signed. She wasn't sure how much Melissa knew, but might as well see.
Melissa nodded in reply and signed back, Me too. Her mother and father had given her details of before and after the Sorting Ceremony, but she had no idea how the Sorting would happen.
"What house do you think I'll get into?" Rowan asked Melissa.
I'm not sure, Melissa replied. After thinking, she added, I'd like Slytherin or Ravenclaw.
"What do the different houses mean?" Rowan signed, "Are they like clubs?"
No, Melissa couldn't help but giggle before explaining. The Houses are based on characteristics. Gryffindor is for the brave, Ravenclaw is for the wise, Hufflepuff is for the kind, and Slytherin is for the ambitious. You live in your House dormitory, go to classes with your House, and earn and lose points for your House for as long as you are at Hogwarts. Hopefully, we don't lose too many points though, Melissa joked.
"I think I want to go into Slytherin," Rowan signed, "Or Ravenclaw."
We're almost there! Melissa signed back, turning her gaze to the castle that seemed to be lit in every single window. The hazy fog surrounding it reminded Melissa of how magical the place really was.
(Who volunteers to be be bumped into by Calvin?)
(Preferably someone from Ravenclaw.)
(What year is Calvin?)
(He has been there for 6 years.)
"I'm Helen. You can call me Lenny if you want." She said to the girl.
(how can I jump into this?)
(Just jump.)
**Fast Forwarding to Melissa and Rowan are waiting for the Ceremony to start.**
(Is this ok?)
(Should the older students be in the great hall now?)
(Yeah but we should get @channel_emzie's approval.)
