"Someone close to me once said something along those lines," the look in her eyes hardened a bit, "Then again they did give me the name Mad-e-lyn. So in the end they knew I was destined for insanity, complete and utterly unredeemable madness." She new this person, this stranger, was trying to boost her confidence, but how many times had those word lied to her, insanity might only be a label, but what ever it was be it madness or brilliance still cut her off from other people, hell it cut her off from her own time line. Something like this did not deserve to be praised.

Oliver opened his mouth to respond to Madelyn, tell her that she wasn't crazy, that she was a good person, but he decided against it. He wasn't good with words and he doubted that he could make her feel better. Anyway, most people were deemed crazy in Wonderland. Oliver didn't exactly fit under that label, or Quinn either, but he had his own share of other things.

Madelyn looked around the group not entirely sure what how many other them were here missing parents or how many had just found their way here, but what was mostly on Madelyn's mind was was the cold and her clothes or lack there of. "To be honest i'm not sure how much more we can get done here so why not meat at Babel?" She suggested wanting at the very lest to split of from the group long enough to get a change of clothes.

(Disclaimer; I have not read the library of babel, but a quick discerption makes me think it's the kind of place that would exist in this kind of world. This my take on the setting and is not 100% accurate to the original story. It contains all knowledge and more (indecipherable texts that are unusable) it's seemingly endless almost it's own plane of existence. For some reason all the rooms are hexagonal and you'll need to use thread tied to the door to navigate the library with out getting lost.) ( Dose that sound cool?)

(Edit: the library contains all the books that have and ever will be written and most believe there is a biography for every person who how has or has yet to live some were on it's selfs. (So that could be fun) Also a bit more research has also alerted me to the probably that the endless library, aside from the Librarians, may also have a few crazy people and a cult living there (the two are not mutually exclusive.))

"Sure, why not? I've got nothing better to do with my time." Theta shrugged. "Does anyone have any thread I can borrow? I haven't been there in a while."

Theta was about to wade back into the pond, but then she looked back at the corpses on the ground. "… Can someone give me a ride? Seriously, I'm soaking wet and it's freezing."

"We can use the rabbit holes, right Oli?" Quinn piqued, nodding towards Theta as if to say that they could give her a lift. The holes were a little cramped and dark, though there was enough of space for a few people and some lighting in odd places on the walls.

Theta shuddered slightly. "Sounds… interesting." I'm not a huge fan of small and dark places, but they're being nice enough to offer me a ride. At least it's better than that time with the Krampus.

Madelyn nodded as everyone was leaving and went her own way knowing very well that if she can't find home, home will find her.

Althea reappeared in her room and Smoke ran up to her. The young dragon had been restless ever since her mother had disappeared. Smoke climbed up her leg and lay across her shoulders. She sighed and went into her personal library and started to look for her bag, she was planning in sign int out a few books on location spells.

Madelyn opened the door to her home sighing as she moved through the house that was normally so filled with life. The half finished project that sat on his work bench and the usual ever present smell of tea was missing from the air reminded her that this is just a house and home is with her father. He was the only person that could understand her condition because he had it himself. She pushed the door to her room open and closed it behind her locking herself away from the empty house. She pinned her long hair in to the braid on the top of her head. She went to the water basin then took a cloth from it to wipe away the makeup not just on her face, but also what had been used to hide any of her scars that would have been hidden by her normal attire. She began to shed the jester costume and replacing it with slacks and a bright red dress shirt. She started to put the holster for her shears back on when her mind started to wander. I wonder, she thought as she started to tie her tie, what it's like not to care. She sat on her bed and began putting on her shoes when she saw a tarot card sitting on the floor with her discarded clothes. She turned it over, The Moon, what the hell does this mean? She slipped on her suit jacket and put both The World and The Moon in her pocket before pulling a hat off the wall straining the red bow before putting it on her head. She slowly began the preparations for entering the library not only did she get her father's magic thread and even began to fill a bag with food and water just in case. She said good bye to the empty house as she donned a long black traveling coat and locked the door behind her before walking down the path. As she moved though the trees she would have looked like a spirt if it were not for the red ribbons following behind her, adding a small amount of color to the other wise ghostly image.
