Oliver's frown seemed even more unhappy when Thanatos' gaze landed on him, his pale, grey eyes turning to a stormier color. Though, honestly, he just looked like an unhappy puppy as he stayed near the gravestone. It was unlike him to be sulking in a corner by himself, though when he got jealous or unhappy he could be very blunt about how he felt.
Noticing Oliver’s glare, Thanatos looked him up and down again inspecting every aspect of him. What had he done to upset the boy, he wondered to himself.
Oliver had turned around by then, approached by a small, greying rabbit that was padding through the graveyard hesitantly. He recognized it as Quinn and soon enough, the rabbit went behind a taller gravestone and emerged as the girl. Though before she greeted her friends she turned towards Thanatos, her wide, hazel eyes studying him curiously. "Who are you exactly?" Quinn announced, lacking the filter to keep questions to herself.
Madelyn retreats back to the group, "Did anyone know what just happened?" She whispered. Not quite how to classify that interaction. She stood there losing and tightening her grip on one of the blades.

“ Thanatos, child of hades, heir to the underworld yadayadayada” he answered nonchalantly, still focused on burying the corpses.
"Child of Hades," Quinn repeated thoughtfully, racking her brain for who that was again. Her memory tended to be a problem when she tried to remember people. Hades. God of the dead. Nodding to herself, she watched Thanatos for a few moments, deciding that she would speak up. "Can I…could I help you with that?"
Chelsea and Chester glanced at each other, they certainly didn’t expect such drama to happen at a graveyard.
(This was my way of saying, “oooooh drama”.)

Glancing back he smiled at her kindly “I would really appreciate it, but only if you don’t mind getting your hands dirty” Looking at his arms you can see they are already caked in dirt and mud.
"I don't mind," Quinn nodded, her ashy curls bobbing up and down in agreement. She grabbed Oliver's arm, dragging him over towards where Thanatos was as well. "C'mon Oli, you can help us too," she added, kneeling down as the older boy chuckled softly. She never really enjoyed being around graveyard because of the graves and memories, though she was willing to help someone.
Reyna eyed the three before nudging Chelsea gently. She raised an eyebrow and nodded towards them.
Chelsea smirked while Chester looked at the rest of the group that was digging, getting dirt on their hands and arms. Chelsea joined in with Chester, the two had always been a bit of a germaphobe. Chelsea patted her dress then turned back to Reyna, she gleefully whispered, “Who do you think is gonna last?”
Reyna brushes her hair back a little and pulled her sleeves up, getting ready to join them. “We’re all fighting our fight here, fighting for the girl,” she sang lightly. One of the cards had been singing it. “I don’t know. Guess we’ll just wait and see.”
“This will be amusing to watch.” Chelsea nodded.
After finishing burying the last body Thanatos backs away brushing the dirt from his hands and forearms. “ I appreciate the help”
Madelyn made the rounds of each to the graves that had to be reburied. Placing a rock on each one and saying a prayer of safe passage for the souls. "From this shore to the next, may you find peace, may you find rest."

Thanatos watches her, a mystified gleam in his eyes and an admiring smile plastering his face. He walks up behind her, gently tapping her shoulder. “You know, for a mortal, you’re quite well versed in your death rituals” he grinned, and air of mischief in his voice. “You sure you aren’t part god?”
Madelyn's posture stiffens up as she turns around, "I'm mortal, just seen more than my fair share." She paused a moment, "Honestly, I know how to do these in part so I can honor the victims."
Quinn dusted herself off, looking at the graves a bit sadly as she bit her bottom lip. Was her mother here? Dismissing the thought, she directed her attention towards Madelyn and Thanatos and the conversation they were exchanging. Oliver was already leaning against a gravestone, grabbing a small pack of what seemed like cigars. He only uses those when he's distressed. Or is it mad? Maybe it was nervous. Quinn thought, glancing down towards them. She had seen them before, since all Oliver's father seemed to do was smoke them whenever she saw him.

Noticing her stiffening, he backed away looking apologetic. "I'm sorry, did I do something"
"I just um…" How to put this? "I'm uneasy." Madelyn begin to lie expertly, "What just happened was unusual and more than unsettling. Can you realy blame me for being jumpy?"
Chelsea flickered away from her original spot and next to Madelyn, “Hey Lynnie, can we move away from this place?”
"I just um…" How to put this? "I'm uneasy." Madelyn begin to lie expertly, "What just happened was unusual and more than unsettling. Can you realy blame me for being jumpy?"
"Well…the reason that those deceased men and women awoke is because…. well, my father, Hades, has gone missing" His face shows signs of sadness and which quickly transforms into a look of immense stress and anger. His voice is filled with a hopeless rage as he says "And he's left me to deal with everything, collecting the souls that escaped during the unrest when he first disappeared, judgement of souls, GAHH" He lets out a broken yell his hair flaming up and he begins to pace rapidly muttering incoherently to himself. His fiery blue hair grows to over a foot above his head as he clearly begins to mentally break down.
The sudden fire sent Madelyn scrambling back over a head stone to keeping safe distance between the flame and herself. Fire, she remember events from her captivity. The white using flame to hurt her mother. Screaming, burning, pain, and hopelessness.
The flames begin to spread down his arms and back as he paces, the flames don't appear to burn him but they are incredibly hot to everyone within 15 feet.
“We should’ve left the graveyard.” Chelsea muttered.
Madelyn kept backing up eyes filled with fear. Her breathing became more erratic, She wanted to call for help, but the words stuck in her throat, but unable to look away from the fire. of corse the meant she wasn't looking were she was going and fell backwards over one of the headstones.
