Oliver returned his gaze to Maddie, nodding slowly in understanding. "You'll come back to camp soon, right?" He asked, tugging on the string of his bow as a cold feeling crept across his back. It's just a meeting, calm down. . . He thought, running a hand through his dark hair as he thought. "We'll be waiting for you, Mads."

In the dim light of the moon, Sam's face was erased of all the cynicism and snarkiness that was there during the day. Their amber eyes suddenly seemed ancient, as if they had seen countless deaths and countless loves. But then again, according to them, they were one and the same.
