"Of course, I'll get some Maddie," Oliver replied, heading over towards one of the cupboards and grabbing two mismatched teacups and plates. He returned, holding them out for her to fill. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm sorry," She She whispers to Oliver wile staring down at the tea cups," I know I've been acting strange. I don't mean to." Maddie takes a deep breath "I'm not crazy. My perception of time is just different. I don't mind if people think I'm insane, because I do play the part." The only other opinion I care out is yours, she added in her head. ", but sometimes I for get how close to that line I really am. Thank you, Oli, for putting up with me."

"I'm always going to be there for you, Maddie. Even if you do somehow end up going mad." Oliver answered, a small smile tugging the corners of his lips up. Maddie had always been there for him when he was a lost orphan looking for a home and a family. Now it was his turn to return the favor.

Chelsea stood beside Cade.
“Our’s says ‘be’.” Cade said, holding up the note.
Chelsea sipped her hot chocolate in attempt to calm herself down.

Oliver pulled out a crumpled piece of parchment from his back pocket, and read over the words again. "Mine says THE."

Susan wandered the house. She didn't know if that was rude or not since she didn't really leave The Domain a lot.

Maddie was putting cups on a tray, "Mine said "I'll" how much more cryptic could you possibly get?" she said wile placing the tea pot in the center of the tray.

Oliver grabbed a teacup from the tray and walked towards the table, setting his cards down and spreading them out. Furrowing his brow faintly in thought, he moved the cards around, rehearsing a story in his mind. One that he was particularly fond of that he had been told by a merchant in a village. Alice in Wonderland.

Susan walked in on a group sipping tea, or at least preparing to. "Greetings, cower before me mortals." Susan said, as if it was a general hello or a glad to see you.

“No thanks, drama queen,” Reyna said, raising an eyebrow.

"Huh?" Oliver asked, looking up from his cards to the girl who had just walked in, his green eyes narrowing.

Cade patted his sister’s head.

"Death or no death people will die"

"I'm sorry, but my father has disappeared and is currently dying as we speak, so feel free to complain about my manner of speaking." Susan sassed back.

"You lost me at Death." Oliver sighed, looking back at his cards and moving them around as if he was playing a one person game.

Thanatos raised an eyebrow "I meant no disrespect, but my father being Hades I understand how dying works"

“You can become dead…” Cade said.

“Welcome to the club of missing and dead parents,” she said, eyes flaring as she spread her arms. “It doesn’t give you special rights to be a b-tch. That’s not a club perk - sorry.”
