Alex tried to think about her upsetting it would be to lose a family member. However, it had been so long, she has forgotten the feeling. "Well, that's unfortunate although no family member of mine has gone missing for they are all dead." She shook her head at the memory. No not right now. She scolded herself. "Although, now that I think about it, Celine had just told me Chris has gone missing, but we dismissed that for he had to go and get supplies." She said
“Hey, Cade,” She said. “Dropped by because I found a basket with a cat and a note. Thought you might know something about it. Also, my parents are gone. Are you alright?” She seemed to notice him looking more down than usual and grew concerned as the cat meowed even louder.
“What? Yeah I’m fine…” Cade nodded. Liar. “My dad is gone.”
“How’s Chelsea?” She asked, walking in and setting the basket down. The cat immediately scampered out to run around Cade’s feet.
Maddie started pulling tea cups from the selfs and making up a platter with cream, sugar, and fairy cakes. "Well, I hope he comes back safe." Maddie commented. She pulled a tea pot, stainer, and box of tea from another shelf.
"Um do you have coco tea? Its the only tea I drink, but you don't have to." She said already knowing all the stress Maddie was in.
“How’s Chelsea?” She asked, walking in and setting the basket down. The cat immediately scampered out to run around Cade’s feet.
“Kitty!” Cade said delightedly, the two kittens he received were fast asleep. He scratched the cat underneath its chin, the cat purred. “Chelsea, she’s… not doing too well.”
"Please, don't underestimate our selection," Maddie set the box aside and moved to another colored to revile several different types of tea, "It's currently not the season for coco tea, so it's out of rotation she moved a few boxes and pulled from the back, but I do have it." She brought it over to the counter and started to put portions of it into the pot. "Many guest don't enjoy it because it's flavor is not what they are accustom to when they have tea." the kettle whistled and she added water to the pot, "But of corse someone raised in Neverland wouldn't want anything bitter."
“I’m sorry about your father,” she said after a moment of hesitation. “She should probably get some joy chocolate, then sleep. That makes her feel a little better. What about you? How are you holding up?”
She gave a small smile at her comment. "You get use to it in Neverland. You know the sweet and bitter, the salty and sour. They will always be there to battle the flavour out and one will always be better then the others. Its like how the balance shifts. They are rarely equal. Just like life. There will always be forces working it out, figuring out your next move and ways to make them better or worse. It's only when you unite them, it will be equal. Except in Neverland, there is no equal. It just keeps going on and on and on." She thought out her answer before replying as she looked at her reflection at the kettle.
“She’s doing that right now. Me? Fine.”
“Are you lying?” She asked quietly, glancing down. “I don’t take well to being lied to.”
( I am so proud of myself that I thought about this. UGH I AM SO WISE!)
"Everything is made up of balances," She pointed to the first box of tea, "You drink bitter tea," and then gestured to the fairy cakes, "Then you eat something sweet." she took the strainer and started to fill the cups. "But when your tea is sweet and you have cakes then the scales are tipped too heavily in one direction." she paused, "But every person scale is zeroed differently." Maddie passed a cup to Alex, "That is why it is impossible please everyone and trying would be madness." She took her own cup and stared adding sugar. "but what is life without a little insanity." her voice still seeming lifeless as she spoke.
//Can Thanatos come to someone someone like Maddie or Chelsea
(yeah, I'm ok with you showing up.)
Thanatos finally decided that he should find that girl from the party, she seemed to always know what was going on. What had the joker called her? He thought hard to remember and suddenly it came to him Maddie. It didn't take long to find where she lived and soon he appeared in front of her house in a pillar of blue flames. He knocked on the door and waited for an answer.
Alex heard a knock on the door. "I'll go get it." She said since Maddie was busy making tea. She opened the door to a boy.
The door opened to reveal a girl that he didn't recognize. "Hello there is Maddie here" he questioned
Susan decided to find the partygoers, she told the skull teleport, "Help." And stepped in. She arrived at a pretty large house, (Maddie's) and knocked on the door.
Sam saw a small note on the basket. "Meh. Probably not important anyway," They clapped twice, and the piece of paper was dropped down into an incinerator below. (hahahaha, let's see what conflicts THIS makes. also what did it say again? and actually, sam's kind of the genie's kid. not really though. it's some steven universe//pink diamond/rose quartz type shit. su fans know what i mean)
( So basically Susan and Thanatos get there at the same time.)
( Also is it ok if Alex has a crush on Thanatos?)
(Aw I was gonna steal Thanatos.)
