Nyx gave a hesitant smile. "Oh." he touched a finger to the mouse to scroll downwards, and frowned. "Your computer doesn't…oh." he realized why it wasn't working. His finger didn't register as someone's finger. The computer couldn't recognize it. His shoulders twitched downwards a little at the realization.
“Try using the up and down buttons,” Jude suggested before unfolding the blanket and gesturing to the corner of the room. He smiled again, walking over to the door and switches, "C'mon, I'll hit the lights."
Nyx did as Jude suggested, then got up, taking the laptop with him as he walked over to the corner. He was standing still, unsure of what to do. Was he supposed to sit on the blanket? Or what?
"Take a seat," Jude said, flicking the lights off and trying to stumble his way in the darkness toward the bright light of the computer screen. Taking the blanket, he fanned it out over them, so they were underneath a white canopy-like tent, the light from the screen illuminating the soft walls.
"It's like we're in a cloud," Jude said quietly, and laughed, remembering all the times he'd watch movies old movies past his bedtime underneath his duvet covers in bed, and going to sleep with dreams of robots, alternate realities, plane crashes, buried treasure, time travel, and fantastic beasts.
Nyx sat down beside Jude, and glanced at him. It took him a moment to remember what a cloud was, then he nodded a little. "I suppose it is." he replied thoughtfully, looking at Jude for another long moment, then back at the computer.
"Ookay," Jude mumbled as he signed into his Netflix, "Oh by the way," He said, pointing to his computer screen, before scrolling through his home page, showing Nyx all the different titles and previews.
"This is Netflix; it's got a whole bunch of movies and shows and documentaries from all over the place. You could watch basically whatever you want on here."
Nyx's eyes flashed a little, and he looked from the screen and back to Jude again. He swallowed. "Oh. That's cool." he said with a faint smile, and rubbed his eye with a hand, then dropped his hand again. He was a little cautious about what he said. Because he didn't know…he didn't know if Jude would put him back in the pod if he said the wrong thing, and he was a little scared of getting this, of getting the sky and the internet and all of this, only to lose it because he said the wrong thing.

Jude pressed play for the Titanic, sitting cross-legged, resting his back on the wall, still cool even through the blanket, sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with Nyx, already focused on the opening scenes.
"Oh, I got a feelin you're gonna like this." He quietly chuckled to himself, eyes shining bright with excitement. Other than coding and robotics, film was his secret passion. He'd never told anyone, but he wanted everything to do with movies. His childhood bedroom walls? Covered in movie posters. All his notebooks, old schoolwork, even his own skin, sometimes, would be covered in doodles, snippets of dialogue and ideas for a film; all to go with the daydream he was hosting at the time.
Nyx glanced at him for a moment, then back at the movie. "Alright." he said softly, resting his chin on one hand as he watched the movie. He shifted a little to get more comfortable, still wearing only the thin white tank top and shorts. He didn't mind, though. Not much of him felt the cold very much anyways, so it didn't really matter to him.

Nyx watched the movie, frowning a little bit. He couldn't quite wrap his head around this ending. He was trying, he really was. But he wasn't sure what to think of it.
(oh what?? its a classic; you got a treat in store for u)
"God, every time." Jude nearly whimpered, clenching his jaw and trying to hold back a waterfall of tears.
Pull yourself together. "They'll never be together again- and I- Oh." He laughed, trying to stop his hysterics.

Nyx glanced over at him, then at the movie again. To be honest, it was killing him too, but he couldn't cry. One of his eyes couldn't cry at all, and even the eye that was still flesh and blood couldn't, though he wasn't sure why.
As the end credits rolled, Jude turned to Nyx, "So, what did ya think?" He asked, sniffing. You wouldn't be able to count how many times Jude had rewatched his favourite movies, quoting almost every line directly, though this time he stayed silent, saying the dialogue to himself in his mind, trying to let Nyx enjoy the full encounter of having his emotions crushed and thrown around: a very human and educational experience.
Nyx shrugged a little, and looked at Jude. "I…don't know." He replied slowly. "It was sad." He blinked, studying Jude. He sort of wished he could cry…since it seemed to have had that effect on Jude, and he wanted to be normal. Human. Not an experiment, though he knew he could never be anything else.
Jude nodded, meeting Nyx's eyes, "Yeah. It was. But a good type of sad, I think." He smiled, not at the thought of the movie, but how funny it must have looked from the outside of their blanket fort, two silhouettes against bright light and surrounded by complete darkness, underneath a circus tent of white. God, what a beautiful shot that would be.. Quickly, Jude pulled out a pen from his pocket, scribbling a few notes on the outside of his hand to write down later.
Nyx saw him scribbling on his hand, and frowned a little. "What are you doing?" He asked curiously, raising an eyebrow as he looked at Jude and tried to understand what he was doing.
"Oh, it's nothing." Jude laughed, turning his ink-stained hands, some notes in different inks and faded from other days.
I laugh too much, "It's just a thing I do when I don't have my "movie notebooks" nearby. So I don't forget when I see something beautiful or think of something beautiful someone could say, for a movie."
"Oh." Nyx nodded a little. "But…why?" He asked, raising an eyebrow a little as he studied Jude carefully. He couldn't quite figure out this person. Was he a scientist, or what? Was this all a lie, an experiment meant to test him?
"So one day," Jude began, tilting his head against the wall. "When it's the right time, I'll have all these ideas to cultivate into cinematography, or photography, art, or maybe even acting. I'll make something beautiful that people will enjoy, and it will bring something good into the world." He sighed, looking at his hand, noticing a faded Nyx and turning it away again.
"Sometimes we forget what's beautiful, or don't know what is– so it's nice to feel that through something visual."
