Nathan walked inside the restaurant and immediately locked eyes with Sparrow. Seeing the motherly figure made his heart beat faster but unlike the female, he didnt tear up. "Nathan? Is that really you?" She asked, standing up as her eyes welled up with tears. Nathan gave a half smile and nodded, walking towards the large table where he was enveloped in a hug.
Caleb stood, shocked, one because, Nathan was standing there, two, because maybe he wasn't crazy and really did see Esmae. "Nathan, is Esmae with you?" Esmae heard this through the intercom and quickly told Nathan not to say anything. She made her decision and it wasn't choosing them. I'm sorry. There was desperation in his eyes. It was that moment Uriah stood up and walked over, he laid his hand in Caleb's shoulder. He was making a scene and people were starting to notice the commotion. "Let's all calm down a bit. Nathan come sit, we have a lot to ask." Uriah also wanted to hear about Esmae, but he wanted to do it with less attention.
Luna spotted Nathan and stood up almost immediately. If Nathan was here than Esmae haad to be nearby, there. There was no reason not to be. Both families had been called, she saw Uriah calling for them to come over from the scene being made and quietly sat back down. She had so many questions, but she would have to check around if Esmae didn't come. They were so close, one was here now where was the other one? Her girl.
Katya saw Nathan and wanted to rush over to hug him only to see Sparrow beat her to it. Instead, she stayed sitting her leg bouncing, happy to see him safe.
(Aw, Luna…. I feel bad now, haha.)
Sparrow took his hand and held it tightly, basically dragging him to the table. "I'll answer all questions starting with this one. Esmae is safe and we are togather. She isnt feeling safe so she decided not to come. I decided to come because I wanted to see all if you before we leave on our mission." He explained. As he glanced around the table, he could see everyone listening carefully. Different emotions could be seen on each person faces. He locked eyes with Katya and smiled softly
"What kind of mission?" Uriah leaned forward on his elbows. Even if Esmae decided not to come. He was just happy to hear she was okay. But, he was going to ask as many questions as possible. Caleb's head ran with many questions. She doesn't feel safe coming to see us? Are they holding her against her will? All he wanted was to see her. Last time he saw her, he knew she liked him a little bit, now though, he was scared to hear if she moved on. "Has she met someone?" Caleb interrupted. He had to know.
Luna felt worried about Esmae. Yes, Nathan said she was safe, but why didn't she want to come. More importantly, like Uriah asked, what mission were they going on? Her worry only grew the more she thought.
Katya gave Nathan a smile back. She heard both Caleb's and Uriah's questions and added one of her own, "Does she not want to see me?"

Nathan felt his heart break and reached out to grab her hand. "She misses all of you very much, I will say this that she is listening to every word I say right now. To answer your question Uriah, the mission we have is classified. Only those with a clearance higher than level 8 at the corporation know about this. Caleb, Esmae doesnt have anyone new, with all that shes been busy doing, she has no time for romance, nor do I to he very honest. Besides, we are one of the youngest members. And the best." He explained
Sparrow paled. She remembered saying those words herself when she was just a little younger than Nathan. Back when she was part of the most deadliest assassin group in all of Ortiz.
**~:Flashback:~**
Sparrow had just come back, drenched because of the rain. Her small stature and dark clothes made her resemble a drowned cat. She entered the guild.and went into the weapons room. Where a young boy was working. He and his father were both in charge of the weapons in the room so she saw them fairly often. "Why do you work for that monster. He punishes you if you dont get the work done right, and doesn't let you do anything other than train and kill. You don't have time for friends." The boy had asked Sparrow that question more times than was necessary. Today she finally had an answer for him. "It's because I'm one of the best. Being as young as I am, it is very unlikely that anyone else is better. Besides, by the time I get to the age of the older assassins, I'll he much better than them."
Luna felt the blood drain from her face. Oh infierno no. These two got roped up in some type of guild. She had known it had been some type of guild that had taken the pair, but now she was left to wondering which one.
Katya felt a little better at that but still puzzled. Given the face of both, Lu- mom and Sparrow it couldn't be anything good, "What do you mean, 'the best'?"
Nathan looked uncertain so Thalia sent him a short message. 'Go ahead'. He sighed and looked around. "Its better to discuss this in a secure place. You guys finish dinner and I'll try to get Esmae to come out." He smiled softly and without another word, left the restaurant.
He walked to the tree base and activated his cells reaching the tree base before his past self even left the restaurant. "They really want you to come say hello." He said to Esmae in a form of a greeting.
Esmae sighed. She knew they did, but she wasn't sure. Yes what they were saying broke her heart, but she wasn't the same girl. "I-I don't know." She looked away from Nathan, then to the window. "So, where are we going next?" She knew they were taking them to a place where they can talk more. What could Nikona be thinking? (Sorry it's short.)
Nathan sighed and gestured westward. "They're heading to the forest cabin. Grab on and I'll take you there fast." He said, tugging on his necklace which let his suit crawl back on his body. He pressed a couple things in his arm band and two holds appeared on his shoulders.
Esmae's nodded and laid a hand on his shoulder. "Let's go." She said before her helmet came up. Maybe I can just pretend to be his guard, and I can get close to them. She wanted to be with them, just not as Esmae. She wasn't about to let her feelings get in the way of her mission. But what Katya said broke her heart. She missed her sister, having someone to sit there and share secrets with. Those were some of the best times in her life.
Nathan knew what may have been going on in her head so he stayed quiet for the short journey. Although the drive from the restaurant to the cabin was only ten minutes, Nathan and Esmae had half an hour before the others arrived. “I know you don’t want to see them. Why? Haven’t you missed them for the amount of time you were gone? It been almost a year.” He frowned, glancing at his watch which not only told the time, but the date as well.
"Nathan… I can't explain it, so let's just drop it, okay?" Esmae didn't want to have to explain herself, she just didn't think it was a good idea. "I'll go in as your guard, but I'm leaving my helmet on." This was all she was going to do. She wasn't going to talk to them, or at least try not to. At the meeting place, Esmae leaned against a tree and waited. (Sorry it's short.)
Nathan opened his mouth to say something but a car engine cut him off. "Its time."
Esmae quickly her helmet come up. She was ready, sort of. The first one she saw was her dad. He was holding a crutch, and his walking worsened. He had a bad limp and almost had to use Luna for help, which Esmae knew was probably hard for him. He was stubborn, so this probably hurt his assassin pride. "You ready?" She looked down at Nathan.
Luna was always ready to help Uriah even if the stubborn puta didn't think he needed it. She kept him close on one side and Katya on the other praying to dios that Esmae was there and safe.
Uriah stepped out and saw Nathan standing near a tree, and next to him a figure in a full body suit. He couldn't see her face, but assumed it was a bodyguard of some sort. "Nathan." He smiled and walked over to him. Caleb got out and saw the figure, he opened his mouth, but before words could come out, Esmae was in front of him with a dagger to his stomach. "If you say anything I will kill you on the spot." He frowned but nodded. How did she get over here so fast? She then walked over back to Nathan and stood by his side.

(Sorry, I took a break. To he very honest, this story isnt really going anywhere and I think it's because none of us are motivated to roleplay with the same 3 or 4 characters in a story thatis very similar to the first one. I will say this, Illy if you wanted, we could create a sort of one on one and just develop the story further but only have our characters in it or we could scrap this idea and come up with something totally new)
(It’s not because I’m not motivated to rp with my girls. It’s that they have nothing to do and no significance to the story. This new idea you came up with focuses the narrative on both of your characters not all four of ours like the last did. It’s imbalanced. So I don’t feel like I can do much of anything and so I just stopped responding. This is my reason at least cause I don’t know how bec feels.)
