(Yeah, haven't really needed to respond lately!)
(True, but I'll be doing a fairly large timeskip and then itll be time for the main villain to reveal herself)
(Okay.)
(I'm sorry I haven't responded, I've been a little confused as to what's going on, even though I've kept up with reading the RP)
(I'll sum up the stuff since the kids came back from the old guild.)
(Basically what happened was that they planned a dinner party so that Cyrus could announce their engagement and the kids could reveal that they went to the guild. After they shared everything they found, the OGs decided to bring back the old guild to get help in finding Esmae. At this point, Esmae had been changed into a cyborg and Thalia got her hardware updated as well. (Cassius wasnt active during that scene so you can make up something for him.) After they got the guild togather, I did a timeskip to a couple months later, which is the setting for now, where Nathan gets taken by Thalia and Esmae who has become at ease with the way DGC does things. Sparrow called a meeting of sorts to tell everyone that Nathan had been taken. Right now I need Illy to respond before i do another timeskip. In this timeskip, Nathan will be changed. Him and Esmae will go on a mission that will explain why things happened in the OG assassins guild rp. More details on that later.)
(Hope that clears up things a bit)
(Yes, it does. Thank you!)
(So once I get illy to respond to my statement, we can do a timeskip)
Esmae ruffled Nathan's hair, she fairly taller than him, Esmae has been a bit taller for her age. "Glad to have you aboard. We are going to do amazing things." Esmae gave him a sweet smile to ease any nerves he may still be holding onto. Pressing the button on her suit, her helmet came back and covered her head. One because she was paranoid that someone might see her, and second, because it made her feel more comfortable. "You take Nathan. I'll catch up." Esmae was a lot faster now, so it wouldn't take to long for her to get back to Dark Gemini.
Uriah held both Luna and Katya close. He wasn't going to lose anyone else. He went to the doctor recently and she said that his leg had gotten worse. Uriah hated himself for not being able to protect anyone, and now he won't be able to. Caleb sat on the couch head buried into his hands. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. He was so angry. Damn, damn it!
(Time skip!!)
It had been a few months since Nathan had been taken. He had not been turned into a cyborg however, he had been changed. Today, for the first time since the two of them were taken, they would be allowed to go meet their respective families. Thalia would be supervising the meet and greet in case something goes wrong but that was a bit of a stretch, both were trained to be the best.
Esmae felt…. weird about going to stay with a new family. They were scientists from the lab, so if something went wrong they would know what to do, and now Nathan was now going to be her brother. When she thought about siblings, Katya came to mind. I wonder how's she doing? Esmae's birthday was coming up soon, and she would eighteen, an official adult. "I'm glad you joined us, it's a little piece of home."
Nathan shrugged, fidgeting with the arm bands of his suit. "I wish we were solo. This was supposed to be our first solo mission but we have to stay with them.under the guise of a perfect family." He muttered, annoyed
"Oh come on, I don't think it will be all that bad." Esmae tried to stay positive, though she was disappointed that the mission was postponed. Why would Nikona do that? Esmae was close to Nikona, maybe she could ask why. "Thalia, when is Nikona's next opening?" She whispered. Nikona was a busy woman, she hasn't even met Nathan yet. Esmae had a feeling she didn't want to either. But why?
Thalia had been in contact with them via headset and she frowned. "Where are you guys? Your location isnt what I told you. You were supposed to go to the Beachside Restaurant to see your own families. I dont know where you are." She said, trying to track their movements.
Esmae stopped in her tracks. "What do you mean? My directions told me to go this way. Damn thing must be broken." She flicked her arm trying to get the directions to be correct. "Okay, beach side right? We'll turn around and head that way." She sighed and grabbed Nathan's shoulder. "We're going the wrong way. Get on, it will be faster if I carry you."
Nathan shrugged and let his helmet crawl onto his head hopped on.
Sparrow had been different since Nathan disappeared. Other than a note seemingly written by him, they had nothing to go on, not them nor the police. Today they had received a free family meal at the Beachside restaurant and so Cyrus and the gang managed to convince her to go. They were in their way there now.
Esmae's helmet crawled onto her head. She picked Nathan up on her back, since it's the easiest way to carry him. She began running and you could definitely tell it was faster than the normal human being. "This is annoying." She knew were beach side was, so it was going to be a quick trip. "Hold on tight."
(Sorry it's short. I couldn't think of what else to write.)
(I assumed it was on a bike, this is news to me lmfao)
Nathan helped as she took off. They had done this before but that didnt mean that he was used to it. A short while later, they arrived at the restaurant and from the large open windows, music and laughter could be heard. Delicious smells ranging from seafood to soup could be detected from where they were standing. Nathan pressed a button on his arm band and the suit he was wearing morphed into something a little less threatening. The helmet melted into a cord necklace around his neck with the Dark Gemini logo as the gem. He looked into the open window and froze, there was their entire family, friends and 'siblings' included, sitting down and mostly enjoying themselves.
(Nathan's suit and his gloves)
Esmae looked around, she had never been to a place so fancy before. "Well this is a nice place." She said not noticing her family yet. She pushed a button on the back of her neck and her suit disappeared into a jewel shaped as a diamond. This jewel was permanently embedded into her skin, unlike Nathan who just wore a necklace. "Well, we better look for Thalia." Esmae got a few looks from people around her. It was obvious she wasn't fully human, so it gained her a lot of attention. She began walking in a random direction.
Uriah sat Next to Katya, with Luna on the other side. Ever since Nathan had gone missing he has been a bit paranoid. Always looking around and watching his back. If anything happened to Katya or Luna, Uriah was afraid he would end up in a dark place. A really dark place. Picking up the menu he looked through it, most of it was seafood, which had never really been a fan of. "So, what is everyone getting?" He wasn't going to ruin the mood. Being happy and joking around was who he was, he didn't want to let go of that small part of him, though, he knew he was losing grip. Almost like he was playing tug of war with himself.
Caleb was looking out the window in a daze, watching and listening to the waves. It was a beautiful place, he wouldn't deny that. It wasn't until Uriah broke the silence when he turned away from the window. "Hm.. I'm thinking salmon." He said without even looking at the menu. Everyone had been on edge since Nathan was taken. Esmae had been gone for almost a year now and he had grown a bit numb to it. Though he does remember her birthday was coming up and she would be eighteen. He was going to say something about it, but decided it wasn't a good time.
"I'm thinking shrimp." Sparrow responded simply, shaking the ice in her water glass as a distraction.
Thalia was hidden in the trees near the restaurant. Nathan realized this when he saw a flash of yellow come from above him. "I found her. Race you." He grinned, snapping his fingers in a certain pattern, activating the enhanced artificial cells in his body.
(I had an idea, would you guys be willing to do a spin off of the first story, that focuses on the original gang and their training when they were younger? I realized that I needed that part of the story, when I start writing, as flashbacks. Yall dont have to, but this was just a random idea)
(That sounds fun.)
Luna had been hesitant coming to the restaurant thinking it was too convenient. Eventually she had been convinced thinking it would be a nice distraction from her search of Esmae and Nathan. It had been a year yes, but Luna still kept going. She read the mood and didn't want to ruin it even thought she knew what day was coming up. Taking a deep breath, she looked at the menu with some thought before saying, "I think I'll get shrimp too."
Katya nodded along staying quiet. She had gained some confidence a while after Esmae was taken, then only to have it ripped away when Nathan was taken. It had been hard, but she had regained some of it back, "Me too."
"Wait," Esmae pouted a bit, obviously Nathan was going to win. "That's unfair!" She yelled a bit louder than she should have. A lot of eyes were on her. Including Caleb's. His eyes went wide and Esmae locked eye with him for only a moment, and honestly she didn't feel anything. Pressing the button on her suit, she ran out. "Nathan, you cheater." Effortlessly she climbed the tree and crouched down next to the two. "So, what are we doing here?" Esmae saw them her whole family, other than Caleb she wasn't sure if anyone else saw.
———————-‐—
Caleb quickly stood and followed Esmae out, but when he hot outside she was gone. Was it my imagination? Caleb thought with all the stress he must have been seeing things. Did no one else see?
Nathan laughed and gestured to himself. "Not a cheater. Not my fault I'm faster. I'm more enhanced than you." He smirked.
Thalua watched the two Becker and let out a laugh. In the time since Nathan had come, the four of them, Cassius included, had become friends. It was due to her and Cassius constantly asking that they got to do this today. "Ok, enough. You guys aren't here on a mission or anything. Your first mission has been moved to a later date. Why that is, you will learn later. Today you are going to your families. You have permission to reveal everything, anything you dont reveal will be up to you. We sent a free family meal voucher to your families, a one day only thing. Our workers are disguised here to make sure your families to get that reward. I am o ly here to make sure everything goes smoothly." She explained, gesturing to the small weapons and supplies scattered on the small treetop base she set up.
Esmae's heart sank when Nathan said he was more advanced, and it sank more when Thalia said they cod see their family. Esmae was confused, was this a test? She hadn't seen them in almost a year. Her eyes moved to the window and she caught eye of them just sitting there. Unlike Nathan who had only been gone a few months, she felt that they might have forgotten about her. Did they even look for me? A bit of anger rose inside her. Not hard enough. She wasn't sure if she wanted to tell them. She definitely wasn't going to tell them about Dark Gemini, it was her home. Knowing her family they would make a plan to go take them down. "I'm not telling them anything." No, they were doing so many good things, Esmae couldn't do that to them. "I won't. Nathan, what are you going to do?"
Nathan frowned. "Not sure. I may tell them where I was and I'll tell them I was trained to do what I'm able to do now. But I wont tell anything about Nikona or you Thalia." He said, tapping his finger on his cheek
Thalia smiled. "That is a good choice. I must say this will be a sad reunion because your families have been searching for you for quite some time. Now go before I push you off." She said, smiling softly.
Nathan snapped his fingers and managed to get to the root of the tree before Thalia started speaking. He walked near the restaurant and looked at the gloomy family, sitting there, looking around with shifty eyes.
Esmae sighed and got more comfortable as she looked through the window. How were they going to react. There was a bit of jealousy, but she made up her mind. Her missions came first. Plus seeing Caleb wasn't a good idea, she knew how he felt, but there was someone else she liked, though she probably wouldn't admit it. "I hope it goes well for him." She got more comfortable in the tree and turned her intercom on, she wanted to hear the conversation.
