Esmae did the same. You would think she would have a helmet built in, but there was really no need for it. Instead they made a small button behind her ear, which brought the helmet out. Did she feel bad, maybe a little, but Nathan would thank her in the future. And honestly, Dark Gemini wasn't all that bad. Did they push her body to it's limit, yes, but it made her stronger, faster and now with her new upgrades she could do so much more. Finally she wore the normal black Gemini cloak, they also gave her a mask, just because they know her. It had the same voice changer that Nikon's has. "I'm ready." She said, but it was mostly to herself.

Thalia lived next door to Nathan's family so it was expected that she knew where to go and how quickly. They stopped the bike in front if the house and saw Nathan on the porch, working intently on something. Thalia walked up to him and tapped his shoulder. "Hey Magnus, I–" he was cut off by a dart as it stabbed itself in his leg. "What? I.." he slumped in her arms and she dragged him to the bike.

Sparrow heard Nathan say hello to Magnus and decided to go out and see if they wanted anything to eat. "Hey kids, want something to eat?" She asked coming onto the porch only to find a small peice of paper fluttering in the wind underneath a rock.

"That was easier than I expected." Esmae's voice came out distorted because of her voice changer. She was honestly a but disappointed, she wanted to have a dual, a scuffle, anything. "They've all gone soft." She crossed her arms in disappointment. "Well, do we just head back?" They had drove off away from the home and into the cover of the forest. Nathan laid on the ground. There was no way they could all fit on this tiny bike. "I can find a different way back if needed."

"No, I'm sure that you and him are going to be able to talk and you can explain where you have been. In simple words, you need to manipulate his mind just enough that he is compliant with his training." Thalia said flicking on the voice distorter.

Esmae let out a sigh, she never was very good at talking to people. "So you want me to reveal my identity so soon?" She was second in charge, but Esmae couldn't help the feeling that it was a bad idea. "Maybe we should head back to Dark Gemini first?" If he tried to escape, Esmae was sure she could stop him, but she also didn't want to hurt him. He was like a younger brother, plus Nikona would scold her if anything happened to him. Looking around she saw a rock that looked somewhat comfortable and sat down.

"They have all been worried sick about you. Seeing you would make him fairly compliant. It will let us work on him with more ease. Nikona gave us clearance." From behind her, Nathan let out a groan and turned on the cool grass.

"Fine." Esmae thought differently. She was sure Nathan would still try and run, and possibly try and get a hold of someone. Though she missed her family, she didn't want to leave Dark Gemini. They reminded her of who she was and taught her to control her anger and channel it. Pressing a button of her helmet, it retreated back into the back of her suit. "I'll talk to him when he wakes up. Esmae need to think of what she was going to say, so she was going to let Nathan sleep.

A short while later, Nathan jerked awake and looked around in a panic. He saw a figure wearing a helmet meditating by the roots of an old oak and another figure who was standing with their back to him. "Hello? Who are you?" He asked

Esmae's heart leaped in her chest when she heard his voice from behind her. Do to the nerves, she tried to flatten her hair, even though her hair was already extremely straight. Slowly she turned around and smiled, though it was a bit awkward. "Hey Nathan, it's been awhile." Esmae wasn't sure how he was going to react to her new look, it wasn't like she changed a lot, but you could definitely tell she wasn't all human.

Nathan immediately stood up and walked to her. "Esmae? Is that really you? You look… different. What did they do to you?" He asked, looking her over.

Thalia had been watching from her place by the roots of the trees. She was using her helmet to record the interaction between the two.

"They didn't do anything that I didn't want them to." It was true, Esmae was the one who wanted this. She looked away feeling a bit embarrassed that someone so close to her asked what they did. Do I really look that weird? Shaking her head, she reminded herself why she was here. "Nathan, listen, I don't know what you heard about Dark Gemini, but they are bad or evil. They help people like you and me. So what I'm saying is, the leader," she looked back at Thalia. Esmae didn't want to say Nikona's name just in case. "She thinks you have potential to be a part of Dark Gemini. So what do you say, what to come along?"

Thalia thought that, that was the moment she should come out. She walked over and pressed behind her ear. The helmet retreating into its place behind her ear. "Hello Nathan. My name is–" she was cur of by Nathan speaking.
"I know who you are, your Thalia. You live next door to us and work in a lab."
"Yes, I work at the labs at Dark Gemini. Dont worry. None of what Esmae has is dangerous, I should know because not only did I design it, I had it tested on me first." She said, showing her arms, legs, and peeling away the silicon skin on her face to reveal the metal and glass structure underneath.

Thalia and Esmae did a lot of explaining, answering as many of Nathan's questions as they could before asking him again. "So what do you say, ready to join?" They asked. After a few awkward moments of silence, Nathan nodded and reached for their hands. "Deal."

Back at home, Sparrow had called Uriah, Luna, and Cyrus. She told them that Nathan had been kidnapped, tears streaming down her face as she thought of the young child who was like a son to her.

Luna had kept Katya close after she heard what had happened to Nathan. She couldn't lose another child and Katya appeared to be almost numb. Luna didn't blame her, she had lost two of the only few people the younger girl had known.
