@Uh.Yeah.I.Sure.HOPE.It.Does!
Lindsey looked up at Sephie. She recognized the look of astonishment. "What's wrong? Did they respond?"
Lindsey looked up at Sephie. She recognized the look of astonishment. "What's wrong? Did they respond?"
Sephie glanced over at Lindsey. Has she noticed…?
"Ummm… yeah they did," she said, her cheeks turning pink.
Get yourself together, Persephone! she chided herself.
She looked back down at her arm and wrote: "what's your name?"
"Nice! Ooh! Another one-" She stopped. The look was now in her eyes. "Lindsey." She scribbled quickly. This time she looked at Sephie's arm. Sure enough, the name popped up only a second late. "Are we…?"
"I think so," Sephie said slowly, a smile forming on her face.
Lindsey's face blushed a bright red. "Lindsey." She said a shy smile on her lips.
"Sephie," she responded with a smile, her cheeks tinged pink.
"Soulmates." Lindsey whispered, bringing herself closer to Sephie.
"Yeah… soulmates," Sephie whispered, turning an even brighter pink at Lindsey's nearness.
"Do you wanna go do something?" Lindsey said awkwardly. She wasn't sure what to do now.
"We can go somewhere or head back to my place… it's up to you."
"How about your place?" Sephie said, still kind of in shock about the whole soulmate thing, "I'm currently staying in a hotel and I have no ideas what else to do."
"Okay. We can head back to my place and figure something out there." Lindsey stood and gave a smile.
To herself, she muttered, "What are the chances…"
Not hearing Lindsey's muttered words, Sephie also stood up.
"Ok, let me get my stuff together real quick," Sephie said, bending over to get her bag and put her laptop in it.
Soulmate. Soulmatesoulmatesoulmate. Oh my goodness
She stood up, "Alrighty, let's go," she said with a small smile.
Lindsey nodded and they headed out together. Lindsey assumed that Sephie had her own car and handed her address and phone number to her. "I'll see you in a few minutes then."
Sephie took the paper. "You could have written it on your arm," she joked as they parted and she began to head towards her motorcycle.
"Good point." Lindsey gave a little chuckle and hopped in her car.
Sephie was smiling to herself as she got on her bike and headed towards Lindsey's address.
Once she got there, she hopped off and headed to the front door.
I wonder if she's here yet, she thought as she knocked on the door.
Blaine glanced down at her arm, her attention distracted from the long, white dress her cousin was trying on.
That sounds like it would be fun! I'm in.
Matteo smirked and wrote back, Excellent. Meet me at Rita's Harbor when you're done with your cousin. Then he stood up. "I have to go take care of some things Liz, I'll be back later." He said, grabbing his backpack. Elizabeth raised her eyebrow. "Okay. See you later then."
It's going to be a while, unfortunately… She's only on dress number one of five.
"Blaine! What do you think? Do you like this one?" Kenzie asked, looking at her cousin in the mirror.
"Hm…" Blaine studied the dress and the way it fit Kenzie. It hugged her in the right places, but something just didn't seem right. She walked over the other four and studied them for a few moments, then grabbed the only ballgown-style dress. "Try this one. It'll complement your body shape."
Kenzie looked at the dress, seeming unsure. "All right, if you say so. I just got that one to be a little different, it wasn't really my style, but I'll try it on because I trust your judgment."
A few minutes later, Kenzie was back in front of the mirror, this time wearing the dress that Blaine had picked out for her. The glitter-covered top shimmered and sparkled in the light, while the skirt draped perfectly from her hips. A collective gasp came from the rest of the women, excluding Blaine, when Kenzie came out.
"Oh, baby girl, that's perfect," Kenzie's mother whispered, choking up a bit. She dabbed a handkerchief on the corner of her eyes, blotting away a tear.
Kenzie's eyes lit up, and she looked at her reflection. "You really think so, Mama?"
"Girl, you look stunning!" Willow exclaimed, her mouth agape as she stared at her friend.
"Haha, well, I really like this one, too," Kenzie laughed lightly. She nodded. "Yes. Yes, this is it. I found my dress, guys!"
Oh, thank goodness that's over! Blaine thought with a deep sigh as the woman cheered.
Okay, I'm actually done now. I'll be there soon, she wrote on her arm.
Lindsey heard a knock on the door and went to answer it. "Hey Sephie! Come on in."
Sephie walked into Linsey's home. "H-hi again," she said shyly, "You have a lovely home."
"Thank you. Good to see you again. And at my house too…" She tried to not to freak out externally but totally was internally.
Matteo nodded. I'm driving there now.
"Hey, I'm meeting someone in a bit, so I'm gonna go now. Get that dress, Kenzie," Blaine said as she walked out the door.
You shouldn't write and drive, Matteo. ;)
