Matteo lead her into the building and to an elevator. When they finally got to where Matteo wanted to be Matteo smiled. "I think you'll love this." He said, leading her out. They were on the roof, and you could see the stars clearer. There was a telescope and chairs set out.
"Oh, wow," Blaine breathed, looking up at the sky. "This is awesome."
Lindsey returned shortly after with her caramel mocha. She sat down across from Sephie. "Hey there." Noticing the writing on her arm (but not being able to read what it said) she asked, "Oh you have soulmate writing! Have you met them yet?"
Matteo smiled. "I thought you'd like it."
"Yeah. This is… Wow…" Blaine trailed off, still staring up at the star-filled sky.
(And now how to carry on……..)
(XD Lol. We could time-skip to the next day…?)
Matteo was laying on the couch while Elizabeth teased him as she worked on perfecting a website.
"Kenzie, you've picked out five dresses to try on already. Don't you think that's enough?" Blaine asked her cousin, who was looking through wedding gowns.
A tall blonde nodded her head in agreement. "Seriously, girl. Chill out. You've still got five months to go before the wedding."
"Well, yeah, but what if there I don't find a dress that I like?" Kenzie asked, looking over her shoulder at Blaine and the blonde. "But I'll try these ones on so that I'm not torturing you any longer."
"Thanks, Cuz. You're the best," Blaine replied sarcastically as she pulled a pen from her purse.
Cousin's driving me insane w/wedding prep. What's up w/you? she wrote on her arm.
Matteo lifted his arm off his face and looked at it, smiling faintly. He took a pen off the coffee table.
Liza's driving me crazy with teasing me about you. She's also complaining about missing her boyfriend, but I can't really say anything. He's my best friend and has been away for nearly six months.
Is he in the military or something? You don't have to answer that if you don't want to. Just curious.
"Blaine, stop writing on yourself and get over here. Kenzie's in the first dress," the blonde called from the dressing rooms.
"Coming, Willow!"
(Srry I was making supper with my mom and now I have to go eat in a few minutes)
(But we finished most of the dishes beforehand so I should be back quicker)
Yeah, he is. Dad's expectations, ya know? His dad isn't the best person in the world. But he's coming back from his deployment soon. We have to figure out how to surprise Elizabeth. Wanna help? He wrote back.
Blaine glanced down at her arm, her attention distracted from the long, white dress her cousin was trying on.
That sounds like it would be fun! I'm in.
Lindsey returned shortly after with her caramel mocha. She sat down across from Sephie. "Hey there." Noticing the writing on her arm (but not being able to read what it said) she asked, "Oh you have soulmate writing! Have you met them yet?"
Sephie glanced down at her arm. It was filled with doodles and notes from her soulmate.
"No, I wish! They doodle and write notes often, and I tend to write song lyrics or dance ideas, but," Sephie sighed and grinned sheepishly, "I've always been too nervous to try to communicate, and they've never tried either, so I don't know if I'll ever meet them.
"Yeah me too. I'm so nervous to try to ask them their name or anything like that." Lindsey said, taking a sip of her drink.
"I wish I at least knew their gender," Sephie said, "It's not like I can tell from the handwriting, and nothing they write hints at it."
Lindsey thought for a moment. "If we do it together maybe it'll be less nerve-racking. Like when you run a race with a friend. You and I could both ask right now!" She stopped herself. "I mean only if you want to."
Sephie blinked. No harm, no foul, right?
"Okay, why not?" she said as she got out a marker, "Ready when you are."
"Ready." Lindsey clicked her pen and counted down. "3-2-1 write." *She scribbled a quick, "What's your name?"
Biting her lip, Sephie simply wrote "Hi," dotting the i with a heart.
At the same time, the words "What's your name?" appeared on her arm.
Her eyes widened.
Lindsey felt a burning on her arm. All it said was, "Hi." with a heart to dot the i. Lindsey smiled and wrote back, Hi! :)
