"Yeah." She glanced back at Lillian. "And judging by the way you look, you are too." Aylo turned around and continued to go down the path. The lights from Wheelhaven began to break through the darkness.

Lillian smiled. "I'll take that as a compliment." They trudged through the undergrowth, pinpoints of light shining through the foliage.
Cuyo drew his dagger and headed out. These people knew air magic, no doubt two of them might be able to subdue this thing. He arrived at the square, and stood there waiting.
Lillian drew her bow tighter and they finally exited the forest, skirting the trees.
(Sorry! I'm back for a bit!)
Skye groaned, hardly fazed by the dragon, but peeved that she wouldn't be binging her catch home soon.
( Sorry, I was gone too )
Aylo grinned and walked into the square. Merchants and troubadours bustled past them, shouting out prices and sining old folk songs. Tonight was the Festival of Lights, and nearly everyone was wearing a masquerade mask.
She took Lillian's hand, leading her through the groups of people. They reached a deserted building and Aylo stepped inside, starting to climb the steps. After a few minutes, they were at the top, the dragon's scales flashing in the moonlight.
Okay… Now what do I do? Skye wondered as she looked around the forest. Well, I guess I'll just bring this back, to start with.
So, that's what she did. She carried the deer back home—after cleaning it, of course—then went back to the clearing where she'd shot it, wondering if the other people would be back ever.
People below started to scatter in fear, their silks and masks all blending into a smear of color. The dragon roared, it's sound deafening. Aylo looked up once again, trying to focus on controlling it.
The dragon opened it's mouth, letting out a vicious gust of wind that staggered most off the people unlucky enough to be caught in it, and sent items flying, Cuyo held onto his cloak and dagger to keep them from flying off.
"You guys ready?" He said, hoping the guards and soldiers would come.

Aylo focused on the dragon. Lillian joined, fixing her stare on it. She poured all her training into the one stare, willing it to obey her.
The dragon tried to resist Aylo and Lillian. She felt an odd sensation in her chest, threatening to break her concentration as the dragon fought back. Aylo continued to focus her gaze on it, pouring all her energy in, willing the dragon to obey.
Lillian followed the dragon with her gaze, staring it down. Come lower, she requested in her head when she felt as if the dragon was close enough to be vulnerable.
(Is it too late to join?)
(No, it ain't bud, hop in!)
