She stood up and began to dut herself off. "No," she took a quick glance to him, "I don't. But I don't really care."
She didn't really have anything to make her care. She had nothing to lose. She had lost everything that she had before and gained the guarantee of heartbreak if she stayed any longer. Every human experiences heartbreak. Everyone get that blue around them, but she didn't want that.
The dirt fell back to the ground along with anything else she picked up. She turned one last time. "Thanks for the name by the way." With that she turned around, ready to walk into anything and not care.
(oh this is sad
this is making me feel sad why)
Micheal bit his lip and didn’t rise. He was foolish to think he could help and have a sort of reward with it. He shifted so his hands and knife were back in his pocket, and waited for her to leave, not responding to her. If she wanted to be foolish, fine.
( i knowwww www www wjdjffsdk Oh my gosh. Okay, so just heads up, she's stubborn as all get out and is just a pain in the butt sometimes just going to warn you, but there are moments she's like this little teddy bear that just dsfjifdksl yeahhhhh idk idk)
Red continued to walk something feeling her heart. She looked down to see a faint orange line around herself.
Guilt?
She pushed it away and kept walking. That is, until the world spun once more. She tried to keep a steady pace and keep her knees from wobbling but couldn't. She placed her hand on the trunk of a tree steadying herself.
Why is everything deciding to blur?
(oh
Emi.exe has stopped working. Please just stop
)
Micheal took no notice. He just sighed and looked up at the stars. Maybe someone else will come along. Someone who can help.
(XD Okay??)
Red finally caught her breath, somehow out of it after only a few feet of walking. She thought for a moment. The bark on the tree was digging into her hand slightly.
Maybe a little help wouldn't hurt?
"Hey, what do you say you show me around New York or something?" She paused for a moment before adding on, hoping to hide how she might need him. "You look lonely."
(xD)
Micheal glanced up, hardly looking over his shoulder at her. “Sure. I guess I could show you around.”
He didn’t want to leave his spot, but he forced himself to stand and walk over to her.
Relief washed over her as she heard the crunch of the leaves beneath his feet. "Yeah, thanks." There was still a tad of breathlessness stuck in her voice, but somehow she managed to lean less on the tree.
Micheal glanced around. “We can get out this way.” He pointed through the place where he enered, a little farther right than where they were. He glanced at her.
“Need help? Or can you walk?” He’d expect the fall to be really bad on her somehow. Extraterrestrial or not, falling from the sky… hurt.
Red kept her eyes to the ground seeing as they were closed and her face scrunched in pain.
Why does it take so much effort to just exist?
She thought about how it might not only be hitting the ground, but also transferring to the atmosphere there on Earth. "I, u, yeah. I'm-" A sharp pain struck her lungs causing her to wince. Their atmosphere is odd. Her voice filled with a little pain, but she did her best to hide it. "I'm fine, thanks."
She took her hand off the trunk of the tree only to begin to fall to the ground. Not unconscious, just if existing took effort, standing took more than she could handle at the moment.
Micheal grabbed her shoulders quickly. He quickly recoiled, though, remembering the little cuts he stabbed into himself. They could stain her shirt. He blushed a little and looked down at his feet.
(Just want to clarify {sorry I'm being an oof right now, my brain is fried from today} he dropped her or nah)
(I
Don’t know
I’m in the same boat as you, pal…
Okay so he reached out when she started to fall, steadied her, then retracted cuz he might stain her shirt.)
(OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH okay yes thank you)
She stood carefully making no movements afraid she might fall. "Thanks." She had noticed how he quickly removed the support but said nothing of it. She blinked a few times to hopefully clear everything up. It wroked, just not well. "Okay, sorry."
(Okay sorry to do this, but ima pass out cus it midnight here
Peaaaaace
See ya tonorrw)
(XD No prob I'm about to too, Nighteo my dude.)
(Midndundnunununipodninung)

(Good morning by the way. Sleep well?)
(Yeah. I didn’t want to wake up)
Micheal entwined his fingers together and looked down at his feet. “You are welcome. There’s no reason to apologize, Red.” He cleared his throat and glanced up at the stars.
(Man, so many moods XD)
Red watched as he looked above him. "Don't." The words just blurted out of her mouth, but she continued. "Don't bother wishing to them or looking up at them as if they are everything because they're not."
(xD. How did you sleep?)
Micheal started and looked back at her, an eyebrow raised despite himself.
“Ex-excuse me?” He didn’t sound offended, just confused and slightly upset with the sudden warning. The stars were is only mean of clairvoyance.
(XD As if I slept. Nah, I actually slept well for once in my life. Or recent life I guess.)
She sighed and took a look up at them herself. "Nevermind." She realized that to a human, they are just lights in the darkest sky and almost symbolic, but she had seen them. She had seen them with no mercy. They could care less about tue humans down below that worshipped them.
(Recent life?)
Micheal blinked but didn’t push it. It wasn’t his business, after all. Curiosity doesn’t do anything for anyone.
“Er… alright.”
(Welp, I just haven't been at my best lately, you know?)
Red looked back to him. "Alright. Where to?"
She had no idea what she was to do. There was really no time to plan in the time it took for her to fall.
