Okay, so. I have this concept. It's for NaNo, but I really want to test it out. I have my plot. I just really need to figure out one of my characters and the actual works of it.

Basically, the stars are beings their jobs being to shine bright during the night. However THEY CANNOT GRANT WISHES. Which most don't mind. They are mostly sad wishes that come from the heart broken down on Earth. The head of the stars is the North Star and the moon is basically like their sun. They are who enforce the rule of not pressing the Strike, the button that grants the wishes. Everyone is happy. Everyone loves everything. Yay! Right?

No, almost everyone loves it, sorry. My character doesn't. She hates having to watch over the heartbroken who cry themselves to sleep at night. She hated the millions of wishes that she can't grant. Long story short, she couldn't take it which got her thrown out by her own father, who happens to be the North Star, and becomes a fallen star on Earth.

I don't want to follow my plotline because I don't want to be controlling. Just the concept and idea that your character would be the one who's wish she granted. (Which might be what got her banished.)

Annnyyywwwaaayyy. If someone joins, I'd be happy to explain more and fully. I can give you my character so you can match yours or we can run blindly into it. I don't mind.

Oh, rules so you can know if yeah… Ok.

  • Cussing is okay. I mean, I don't and I don't like it. So if you wouldn't mind not doing it every few sentences I'd greatly appreciate it.
  • This is a romance. And my character hasn't ever feel affection. Not really at least. So yes, there will be lots of love. Just, not too far. Please. Keep it around PG-13 maybe.
  • Ha this is important. Please no one liners. I mean I understand occasionally but once it becomes a thing I end up doing one liners and it's just this mess that I'm not sure how to get out of.
  • This is also important. Use you voice If you would like something to happen, let me know. I don't want you to feel like I am ME and you are you because no ma'am no ham. That's not it.
  • Uhhh I think that's it. Just respect. Love. Peace. Yay. andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s rules. Yay.

Okalee dokalee neighbor.

Hi! This sounds awesome and I saw you on the rolegay (so naturally made me curious). May I?

Deleted user

Imean no! It’s a wonderful idea and I’m very excited to get started (already xD)! And thank you!

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

Yay! I'm so glad someone joined. I was worried. Also, do you mind a m x f relationship? My character that I need to work with (I've only really written with her once) is straight.

Deleted user

I don’t mind at all! I need more practice with straight relationships anyway. Oh just a question. Do you mind smut? And a second. Would I be the male (very stupid I know).

Deleted user

Like the diksnsjddkdjdksks and moany stuff. I don’t mind at all ^-^

Deleted user

That’s fine. They’ll still be in a relationship though, right?

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

Yeah. Just, I'm not sure if they should he right off the bat. Should we start with her getting banished? (After template of course, or no template because they technically don't know each other)

Deleted user

Of course, of course. I was just making sure. So her getting banished sounds good. Can we just go in blind?

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

(Oh, hey, the stars are called by numbers, but when her name comes up is it okay if your character gives her the name Red?)

"Far Left Star 1334: Due to your failure to follow the most important rule here in the community of the Night Sky, you have been banished never to return again."

A pain struck her chest. She stared up into the North Star's eyes in hopes she'd find some kind of compassion, even mercy, for once. Instead, she saw something else. She couldn't tell exactly what it was. Not yet, at least. "Look, I couldn't help it okay?" She tried her best to reason. "I saw someone in need. I was born to help!"

"No, you were not!" His voice was firm. Maybe the look was disappointment. "You were born to light up the night sky!"

"Do you not see what's wrong with that?!" Her voice raised to match his. "Watching over the broken every single night and not being able, no allowed, to help them?! You're supposed to just sit back?!"

"Enough!" A voice came from across the room. It was the Star to the Right, the North Star's right hand. "The North has spoken!" He had always hated her. All through her life, he had watched her closely to find any mistake she made.

"Leave us."

The Right did as he said.

The North Star sighed with a hint of the expression she had found before in his eyes. He looked to the floor, his voice lowering to a whisper. "Please. Forgive me."

With that, the North Star pressed the Strike and granted his own wish as a tear fell down his face.

She didn't have enough time to react. The next thing she knew, she was falling through the night sky, her home and down to Earth. The pain struck her again right in the center of her chest. The look was sorrow.

He had wished for his own daughter to be doomed to the Land of the Heartbroken, otherwise known as Earth.

A tear fell as she did to match her father's. Never.

(Sure!)

Micheal tugged at his smoky gray hair and tucked it up away into his hood. He was smoking a cigarette and was holding a knife in his hand in his hoodie pocket. He pressed the tip to his finger. The pain was nothing. Hell, he was used to it by now. He’d always been the kid who stole sharp things such as steak knives from his kitchen and ripped himself up. He didn’t want attention. Well, he did, back a few years ago, but now all he wanted was tranquility. He didn’t want to feel heavy with dullness every morning when he woke up in the morning. He wanted to feel light and airy. He wanted to feel… human.

But that never happened. Every chance he got he wished for that emotion. The human feeling of love, contentness or happiness. But did any of those three things exist? Not to Micheal. He grew up in a rough home. The basic, mom and dad fought, got a divorce, mom found someone else; they drunk together, got high and had sex. Micheal had run away when he was fifteen and had taken nothing but his trusty knife.

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

(Kk, thanks!)

She was still in shock by what had just happened. All she knew was that it hurt and suddenly it didn't. The wish was the only thing that kept her falling closer to the atmosphere. It was its own form of gravity. As she reached the edge of the atmosphere, the warmth of the wish left her to the cold, harsh reality she couldn't go back. THey wouldn't accept her.

Her hair seemed to float around her as she watched the stars grow further away. No one had ever expected her to become a Fallen Star, she knew that much. She was the daughter of the North Star, how could she not? Then again, they could have probably suspected something of her brown hair with fiery tips at the end. It wasn't all that common for Stars to have different colored tips of their hair, but it's a considered "a sign" for the soon to be "Fallen" if they were anything other than blonde. Still, no one had thought anything of it. "She's such a good child, North. Aren't you so proud of her?" She could still remember the look on his face as if he could barely remember he had a daughter. "I suppose."

The stars seemed to disappear into what looked to her like tiny balls of light in the sky as she crashed through the trees. Luckily, there was still enough Wish left around her to protect her until she reached the ground. She fell flat on her back, a faint pain ran through her body.

That must have been when it struck her. No.

Micheal glanced up. He was at the edge of town, ready to walk into a nearby forest for his annual wish-making. Just to get the tears and stress off of his chest. Until he heard a deafening crash.

What if something was out there? He wasn’t strong. He should just turn heel and scoot back to the pathetic apartment that he rented for himself. Unfortunately he didn’t. He scooted himself into the forest, the opposite of what his brain thought he should do.

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

The pain in her chest became a wave as she tried to get up almost as if she were laying down on a rocky shore, the water crashing against her again and again until she was nothing. She stood slowly. It felt like her head was a weight dragging her down.

I must have hit it.

She attempted to stay standing, but everything spun around as she did. It came to the point she couldn't stand and her knees gave out. Ger back landed back on the ground, the leaves crunching beneath her. Everything turned dark as the shadows between each Star, just no stars to lighten her concious.

Even though she lay unconcuous, somehow she could still feel the pain in her heart, the look on her father's face, the feeling of falling through space- it all haunted her as she lay beneath the stars.

Micheal heard something crunch heavily. It must’ve fallen. Would he be foolish enough to go look? Yes, he would be, apparently, as he turned his feet in the direction of the crunch and crash of whatever was out there. He pushed through the underbrush. He jumped and hit his head off of a low hanging branch. There was… something there. He stepped forward slowly, squinting. A body…? No, it was breathing…

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

She turned slightly onto a sharp rock which dug slightly into her hip. She winced in her sleep. (Oh my gosh I'm so sorry it's so short. Currently really really busy. Running from event to event. Sorry!)

Deleted user

(That’s okay!)

Micheal leaned out of the bushes to squint at the thing. It seemed to be the thing that fell, since there was a large indentation of ground around it from where it fell.
“Er… hello?” He called tentatively.

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

In the back of her mind, she could hear a small voice. She tried to force herself closer towards it, but ended up just drifting further away.

(Ahhhhhh so many competitions!!!)

Micheal slowly walked over. She looked so… different. Just looking at her gave him a blooming, warm feeling in his chest.

Hope?

He prodded her gently, kneeling down. He held his knife fast, ready to stab her if she advanced an attack.

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

She could feel something prodding her.

Wake up!

She pushed her mind closer to reality, as close as she could, but still couldn't seem to break the difference between the two. Her eyes were still closed, and she was still enveloped in darkness.
