(Things to remember: We are in an arms race against an evil army called Shadows, with their leader Arcanis being an illusionist. He vows to break the four seals of the elements in order to unlock a god-like power. Each elemental has a Guardian which is tasked to protect the seals. If an elemental loses their element, they go into a demonic like state with unstable magic. Once an elemental reaches mastery level, they receive memories of all past elementals with their element.)
(The building: Level 1-3 are rooms, with level 1 being the lobby. Level 4-5 are storage rooms. Each filled with supplies such as weapons, clothing, bedding, and food. Level 6 is the cafeteria. Level 7 and 8 are the operations levels. 7 being the library/ computer level. 8 is the training room.)
(They are currently in an apartment building, two miles from the Fire seal. In a forest near the closest town, where this story began)

"Don't get rid of it." Ignis was sincere and his expression proved just that, "Make it a Guardian. Keep the wraith. After all, it was the first 'dog' and only the dark elemental can control it."
"Alright." She nodded to what he said, actually thinking about what he said. Maybe she would actually listen this time.
"do you happen to know how far away it is?"
Ignis looked outside to find complete darkness taken over the skies, "I'd say about five miles aways and closing, fast." Ignis took out his ember and faced it at Evan, Alister, and Noel, "Sorry, but we have no idea where Arcanis is. You will find yourselves at the air temple. Find the seal there. We will join you shortly." With that and a little chant, they faded before their eyes. Ignis placed the ember in his back pocket and looked at Kali, then he quickly turned and whispered, "I can't afford to lose you again."
Evan was teleported away against his protest.
" you won't Ignis. Just have faith in me okay? Because I don't have a lot of faith myself." She exhaled, pulling his forehead to hers, she pressed it lightly. Before pulling apart, "I'm going to meet it outside." She went to leave, but she could still be stopped.
The siblings felt themselves fading away to the air temple. Noel was mad that she didn’t get to take a nap first, but intrigued by the prospect of going to the air temple. Alister was just tired and a little worried he would be too sleep deprived to find the seal and would mess everything up.
Ignis followed, his memories of watching Darkness die in front of Fire repeating in his head. How Light and the other elements just watched. It angered him, but it made him more certain to protect Kali at all costs.
The Air temple was far more clean than Dark's. White marble pillars and silver lining. The ground was covered in a thick fog that resembled clouds. The air itself felt lighter. There was no sign of danger, Shadows, or any threat. It was just…peace.
She let out a sigh, or was it an exhale? she let out an intake of breath as she continued to walk stopping a couple of feet from the apartment, knowing Ignis was right behind her.He wasnt gonna have him fight if she could, he was still hurt. even if Ignatius said it wasn't, it felt entirely like her fault why he was hurt.
she waited for the wraith.
“… Where exactly is this place?” Noel breathed. In the brightness of the walls and pillars, her eyes stood out like silver coins.
“Dunno,” her brother replied softly.
The atmosphere of the temple had settled their moods. They felt almost weightless here, as if they walked on the surface of the moon. Tendrils of mist curled up from the ground and twirled around their fingers and wrists.
Alister sighed. “We’re just going to have to trust them, El. Whatever is going on with Darkness and Fire, we shouldn’t worry ourselves about it.”
“Are you saying that for my sake or yours?” She raised a brow.
“Oh, shut up.”
Evan also got put with the twins looking around "So, this is the air temple.." he says out loud looking around before back at what the twins were doing, though you could tell he was kinda upset still.

Ignis looked down, unable to see through the dark storm nor wanted to see Kali, "The wraith approaches. Only you may be able to look upon it. If we fail here, then there will be blood on our hands" Kali can hear the snarls of a monstrous creature as they both felt the air become thick, almost hard to breathe. Somehow Ignis could feel it's loneliness, it's sadness. The skies are pitch black, not even the sun's light itself can pierce it. The air is still, not a breeze.
The Air temple's door shifts open. The inside looks as bright and clean as the outside. From dark to light, it made the place seem even brighter. When the air swirls, it's visible that the temple is placed on a high mountain. The rocky surface beneath the cloudy air was smooth. It seemed like heaven.

She just waited for it to continue coming closer, despite the darkness approaching more and more steadily getting faster, even when the sky was pitch black she let out a relaxed exhale. this was somewhat her element, what she was comfortable in.
she needed to do this, she could do this couldnt she? okay so yeah the out of nowhere optimism was a shocker but maybe it was ignis rubbing off on her.
She looked ahead of her and took a few steps forward away from Ignis, scanning the stretch infront of her, though she didnt prepare for combat she merely prepared her mind.
