He smiled slightly at Alister, moving to go after the two siblings, he brushed his fingers against alisters hand purely coincidentally, but it happened all the same, he looked up and gave Alister a shy smile before looking at the temple.
"Woah.."
(Hhhh I’m not sure how to respond to this except to describe the temple myself. Can I do that? Idk)
(Since it's a temple connected to the Air element, yes)
The Wraith looked at Ignis, "Star caster. You shared a piece of her. You have also lied."
Ignis cries in pain as the wound grows one more.
She panicked a bit when he let out a cry of pain, but she kept herself from saying any outbursts.
"i understand your hurt, you were lied to, and that wasn't okay to do, I'm here to try and mend the pain given to you."
He smiled slightly at Alister, moving to go after the two siblings, he brushed his fingers against alisters hand purely coincidentally, but it happened all the same, he looked up and gave Alister a shy smile before looking at the temple.
"Woah.."
(Alright cool, just wanted to get that straight. I got some ideas)
He smiled back, blushing a little. Noel walked in front of them, looking ahead. Before them was a long corridor with only pillars for walls, wind flowing freely through. The mist seemed to seep inside, moving toward the siblings. At the end of the corridor seemed to be a room separated by an intricate archway.
“Air doesn’t seem to be fond of walls. Or doors,” Noel remarked. She looked back at her brother. “How are we feeling?”
“Tired,” Alister said automatically.
“I mean besides that. The vibes of the place.”
He took a quick look around. “Passes the vibe check for me.”
“Alright then.” She stared a them for a moment. “Just hold hands already and c’mon.”
She started down the corridor. Alister blushed hard. “Uhhh….”
Evan was just looking around the place and listen to what they were talking about until he heard what noel said and looked over at her with deep red blush,
"Oh uhh, um-"
He looked Alister, asking for permission. He knew it wasn't a kiss, but he just wanted to make sure.
Noel sputtered out a laugh as she continued walking. For a moment, Alister fought a mental battle as he stared back at Evan, trying to fight the rush of blood to his cheeks.
It feels too soon. Do I even-?
He literally laid his head on your chest. And you liked it.
But-
His head was on your chest. Handholding is nothing. You know you want this, too.
…Fine. He hesitantly took Evan’s hand and followed after his sister.
"You truly know nothing about pain." The Wraith continued to circle Ignis and Kali, "For Billions of years I was left alone, hated by the light. Your brothers and sisters nearly killed me." It turns to Ignis, "Except you. You were there after they killed her. But soon you left me, promising to come back. Liar!"
"I know pain, i know how it feels to hurt, but i could never feel the amount of pain i can only imagine that you were put through."
She watched as the wraith circled them, and she tried to make herself vulnerable, but she was holding herself back from it, still having some guard up.
"i know what he promised, i can assure you darkness would not want this, niether fire nor darkness wanted to put you through any of this…for that we are deeply sorry," she did a traditional bow, of apology.
He took alisters hand, holding it in his nervous hands that he was sure we're clammy and sweaty, he walked with alister and noel, looking around it and noticing how the air flow went. He turned to offer a smile at Alister.
"Ah. So the Dark Guardian still persists. And so does the seal I presume." A dark voice echoes in kali and Ignis's head. A familiar voice, "The words of Darkness are nothing. No value, just lies. And Ignis…the descendant of Ignatius and Fire itself. You knew the Wraith's existence. You left it alone to DIE"
He managed to smile back, though it was a little halfhearted and more nervous than anything. His cheeks were still red.
Beyond the archway, the room was large and circular. This time it did have walls, but no roof. Mist covered the floor here as well, but metal grates could be seen lining the room and in the middle, where the mist seemed to be seeping through, rising upward, though a few tendrils curled around the siblings. Across the room were three more corridors, though these also had walls. In fact, the only openings the passages had were on either end.
The siblings froze. Something felt wrong, not right. The three passages seemed to almost invite them to come closer. There was a faint, but intrusive smell in the air. A smell like old cigarettes and acid. Alister’s grip tightened on Evan’s hand, and Noel’s fists clenched.
“Okay, this room does not pass the vibe check,” he muttered stiffly.
“Why…” her lip curled in disgust. “Why is that… here?” She pointed to each passage, the names coming to her even though she could’ve never known them. “Ammonia. Carbon monoxide. Sulfur dioxide. How…?” She gulped. “They seemed to be contained in those passages somehow. But why is something so toxic in such a pure place?”
She bit her lip, even while defending ignis that last sentence made her hesitate.
"I know you think I'm Lying, however i assure you that i am not lying," she turned to Ignis, "Is that voice…the wraith…did you know about it? Like you you and not ignatius know?'"
Yeah she was definitely having doubts and trying not show it.

Evan wasn't stupid, he knew what those were when she spoke, sqeezing alisters hand once more as he stared at the three pathways.
"i don't think there's another way to go around it, there's three doors, but i hate the idea of us having to split up, these are poisonous gases.."
Ignis's eyes were glowing purple and his smile looked possessed, "Ignis knows it. He has met it once, in the ruins of his temple. Ever wonder where the so sacred 'Fire' temple lied?" Ignis stood still, almost like a statue. The Wraith looked at Ignis, snarled and almost pounced, "That is not your body. A liar within a liar."
Alister’s eye wandered, watching the mist drift toward the overcast sky above them. “We could go up,” he said. “But I’m going to have to…”
He sighed, embarrassed. He put his arms around Evan’s waist and allowed the air to lift them up above the rounded wall. The mountain air was chilly, and Alister soon had goosebumps along his arms. He could see most of the layout of the building from here, though some parts had upper floors or walls. Some areas had roofs and some didn’t. It looked like a circular maze of more circles and curving passages. From here, the three passages seemed to either go up, down, or forward depending on where you went. Alister hoped to find the seal from here, but it was hard when the building couldn’t decide which rooms could have roofs and which couldn’t.
“Woah…” he tried to take everything in, then looked down. “Noel?”
She was still on the ground. A breathy, lilting laugh seemed to echo throughout the building and up into the air, ”The girl must carry my burden…”

Ignis stood still, almost like a statue. The Wraith looked at Ignis, snarled and almost pounced, "That is not your body. A liar within a liar."
She glared at Ignis, though not at Ignis at the person on the inside, though it would be dangerous for her to use her ability in this moment seeing as the sky has become pitch black and therefore her abilities were boosted past her limiters. She looked as the wraith snarled and was close to pouncing, "what do you mean liar within a liar?"
Evan frowned at the breathy voice, "What do you mean the girl must carry your burden? What burden?" He looked down at noel on the ground, "Noel! Can you hear us?"
Ignis stared at Kali, "Illusions unlock secrets hidden from mortal men. I simply know how to use such secrets, my dear Kali. I can tell Ignis particularly likes you. Much more than the daughter of Light. How history repeats itself. I wonder what he would think if he watched himself kill you."

"No matter how much control you think you have i wouldn't wave it around so carelessly, he may be wounded but your hold on him will not last." She stared down the man inside of ignis, the bad guy you all know and hate. "he may be strong, but I'm not exactly helpless."
"I do not need it to last. He will kill you all on his own. Along with your companions." Just then, Ignis raises his hand to the Wraith, a black flame emerges, "A flame that never extinguishes, the Eternal Flame. Mixed with a flame that burns the soul, humans know it as Hell Fire. It will not kill the Wraith, but it would wish it had." A ball of mixed flame darts at the Wraith, its screams deafening. The darkness floods the eye of the storm, consuming Ignis and Kali.
During the blinding, Ignis regains focus as he is stunned by the echoes of the Wraith's screams. The marking of Ignatius leaves as did his wound. Ignis couldn't help but smile. Now face the consequences of manipulating an elemental, he thought.
The screams made Ignis weak, but mobile. He made his way to Kali in order to check the residual damage. The Wraith is gone for now, I hope I can keep the promise I made all those years ago…
(What do you mean by residual damage?)
(damage left by the wraith. don't know why I said "residual" but i'm just gonna leave it)
(Did the wraith atempt to do anything to Kali? Because I had a thought that maybe she saw that the fire was gonna be shot at the wraith and she tried to stop it by throwing a huge ball of darkness at the fire(it failing) and then starting to get overhwlemed by the surronding darkness. But i wanted to make sure you didn't have anything planned, and idk if I'm gonna do it)
(Well if you think about it, either way nothing happens and they're overwhelmed by darkness anyway. You can if you want.)
